About: I have owned and trained my own stranger and dog reactive rescue for the past 2 years. I know how hard it can be to go on vacation because finding a babysitter with experience is hard. Working slowly and gaining trust is key and knowing triggers is essential in being sure that the dog can be managed properly while the owner is away. I've worked with trainers and read extensively on reactive dogs, so I understand how important it is to manage your dog's stress and be consistent with training. Therefore, any training regimens would be kept. I've worked with puppies, helping train friend's puppies so that their new furry friends can experience the world through a positive lens. I've done nail trims as long as the dog is willing, ear cleanings, and given pills or vitamins. I find it essential for owners to be able to go on vacation or out of town and not have to worry about their dogs. Therefore, any updates, pictures, etc will be given freely. I currently work full-time but have full availability Sunday and Mondays and can always do drop ins before and after work. I will be sure to not sure drop in for a few minutes to feed but to play and interact with your animals to ensure their needs are met and they can nap. I understand safety and management for animals inside and outside the home. Ensuring no food eaten is left out or other endangerments are all securing put away. Enrichment and mental stimulation help keep animals calm while their owners are away and keeps them feel tired so they get the sleep that they need! Therefore, play time, mentally stimulating games, and walks would be a main focus to keep your pet feeling fulfilled till your happy return!

While living there I volunteered at a shelter for 5 years called “4luvofdog.” I would host dogs and puppies needing a temporary place to stay while awaiting their “furever” home. Along with that I grew up with big and small dogs as well as cats, and watch my siblings/friends dogs regularly. Watching and caring for animals is a passion and self care hobby of mine as my job is very demanding. I leave my place around 7:15am and back by 5:15pm. •For check ins I’m available Monday-Friday 5:15pm-9pm and anytime on weekends. •For overnights; drop off and pick up before 7am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends I am available anytime. •I’m very accommodating and easy going! As long as the communication is open and honest, I won’t have a problem accommodating needs :) I live in a very cute neighborhood in downtown Benson and love to go on long walks looking at the real estate! No kids, roommates, or pets! My home does not have a fenced in yard and has stairs leading up to the unit. In others homes I’m happy to show up to walk and play with instructions on how they would like the pup to be cared for. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was really young. from taking care of puppies to having older dogs that need medication and more attention I know how to potty train, and I give all dogs the attention that they need how to give them medication and watch their diet. I know to be gentle with older dogs, and patient with them. I’m currently working a full-time job Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM. I give them plenty of space to run in and plenty of toys lot of bones so they can chew on their bones.
