“Nicolette and her family loved on Sarah for the many days she stayed with them. Sent updates and pictures when I checked in and spoiled my girl! Will definitely use again!”

“Guybrielle was soo kind and nice with Omen . This was a first to have him in someone’s home instead of just boarding inside of a facility. Our first experience was amazing ! We will definitely use her for future .”

“We were visiting from out of town, and I had the pleasure of booking with Nolvia — truly an exceptional experience! She was flexible, patient, and incredibly kind. Her fenced backyard was full of engaging activities for dogs, and she followed my puppy’s schedule perfectly — even administering his medication with care. She kept me updated with timely messages, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. This was my dog’s first time being around another dog, and he absolutely loved it. Her sweet Marisol was such a gem to my SnowFlake — he followed her lead in every moment. I highly recommend Nolvia, and I will absolutely book with her again whenever we’re in town! Thank you for such a secure, thoughtful, and loving experience.”

“Jason was super nice to us and awesome with our Border collie! Kept her super active and played with her a lot! Our dog is definitely looking forward to staying with him again!”

“Lauren was AWESOME with our 3 puppies! She accepted our request just 3 days before our trip. Once we arrived, Lauren and her daughter gave us a tour of where our pups would be vacaying at. Lauren was very active with our fur babies which made us feel comfortable leaving them. She sent us pictures and even videos of her partying with the pups! 😄 10/10 recommend and would def book again!”

“Tracy was absolutely amazing with Rocky. She was so sweet and caring from the very beginning. She kept me updated the entire time, sending pictures and letting me know how he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. Rocky came back home calm, happy, and not nervous at all, that says everything. I’m truly grateful for how well she took care of him. Highly recommend her and would definitely trust her again with Rocky”

“Awesome Great communication and pictures to keep informed. First time for my elder schnauzer and young doodle to stay. They did well. Lots of love, care to make them feel comfortable!”

“Emery was amazing! Our older dog needed medication and some extra special care, and it was also our first time away from our younger puppy. She kept us updated throughout the stay, and we felt completely confident that both dogs were in great hands.”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know firsthand that our pets aren’t “just dogs”—they’re family and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I provide patient, loving and attentive care and treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I also know how reassuring updates can be, so I’m happy to send photos and messages during your pup’s stay or visit. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for like family. I’m a SAHM and I run my own business so my day consists of running a few errands, loving up with my 5 furbabies and trying to end world hunger! My yard is not fenced however there’s ample room to run around with a leash, potty breaks and I’m happy to crate as requested. I bring my furbabies to the local fenced in dog park, I’m sure they’d love more company.

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
“Jaci became a second family to our girls while we were on our honeymoon! We are so grateful and will definitely be sending our girls back to her when we visit family again. : ) So many updates and even a happy birthday postcard from the girls! 5 stars!!!!!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
“Khya was excellent with caring for my fur baby. She communicated quickly and keep me up to date with photos during the stay. We will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Madison did a fantastic job with our dachshund, Dax! She kept us updated, sent us pictures, and she was very nice and easy to work with. We highly recommend her services if you’re ever in need!”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
