About: Growing up on a farm means I have an abundance of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. This experience has only grown thanks to the 1000+ hours spent caring for a great variety of animals thanks to my preparation for and training in veterinary school. I have worked in several veterinary clinics, a couple of shelter settings, and a commercial aviary. This means I am incredibly comfortable caring for all kinds of pets of any age, as well administering medications and keeping up with unique needs. Much of my love for veterinary medicine comes from the opportunity to bond with people and their pets, and providing pet care is another amazing chance to do just that. I would love to serve you and your four-legged family! Being a student allows for a very flexible schedule, perfect for attentive and personalized pet care! Much of my course work can be done online, so I am often free to hang out with your furry friends while I study throughout the day. I try to build my schedule where I don't need to leave pets alone longer than 6 hours maximum, and I am willing to adjust according to your pet's needs. I take great care to keep your pet's routine as similar as possible to their normal to minimize stress. I love to schedule a meet & greet beforehand to get to know you and your pet, and get to know all the details of their routine. I know what questions to ask to make the process as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I also know how nice it is to come back to a clean home. Therefore, when staying in a client's home I take great care to leave everything exactly as it was or better. That way you can relax knowing your pets are well taken care of, and you have nothing to worry about when you return.

It was a great chance to introduce our cats to her, show her where things like the cat food is stored, etc. Once we were on our trip, Rachel sent pictures and videos of the cats each day, which was a great comfort as one of our cats is pretty shy and nervous with people. However, he warmed up to Rachel within a few days of her home stay. She also took great care of our house! Everything was tidy and she even washed/dried the bed sheets and remade the bed! We will definitely be checking if Rachel is available when we go on trips in the future.”

I have a full-part time job so fitting in dogs walks, feedings or overnight stays wouldn't be a problem at all. Monday-Friday daily check-ins and Friday-sunday I,m available overnight. I have a large fenced in yard that provides lots of space for my 3 dogs to run and play! I have so many toys for them if I'd get another one they're toy bin would be overflowing! My fur babies get fed 1-2 times a day.
