“Amanda was fantastic! She treated my fur babies like they were her own. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing she would be caring for my pets. She even went above and beyond by allowing me to borrow her doggie stroller for my elderly and blind doggie to use so he wouldn’t feel left out when they went for a walk with my younger dog. I highly recommend her services and I will definitely ask for her services again in the future.”

About: I live in the Sacramento Delta in a quiet neighborhood. Great neighborhood for walks and a nice fenced corner lot yard for your pup to run around in. I live with my elderly father who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. 24 hr supervision since I work remotely! I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks. Your doggy will recieve a good amount of outdoor time and have an active and stimulating day. I’m comfortable with your dog sleeping in bed with me but respect if you prefer them to sleep in a crate. I work remotely so I have no issue staying at your house as well!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all ages; 7 months to 15 years old. I take joy in giving your pup or kitty my time and making them feel as comfortable as they can in my home or your home. If that means playing with them all throughout the day, cuddling on the couch, going on walks, or giving more time and attention then I am happy as long as the pets are satisfied. I want the animals that I watch to feel safe and happy, as if their owners were home. I am open to pet sitting in your home if that works better but my preference is to bring them to my home. When staying at a clients house I like to get familiar with the yard and space so I know of any places your pet may hide away or rest. Some times our pets like to nap in places that we would not suspect and I want to make sure I can keep track of your pet at all times while in my care. I am flexible with hours during the week and weekends. At this time, I am available almost all hours. Please contact me 3 days prior so I can meet your loving pet. My yard is fenced in with a gate. I will manage daily potty breaks and walks regardless of the temperatures. Play time as needed will be provided.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and my major responsibilities started at about 8 years old. I aided my own senior dog with her health issues as well as my neighbors dog who requires extra medical attention. I am well-versed in dog-breeds and the nature of these animals. I love all dogs and have always been the dog-walker for my neighborhood. I have experience with puppies and am comfortable with large dog breeds. This will most likely be my main job, as I am a university student returning home for the summer. I am super flexible schedule wise and can easily meet any expectations. I have a fenced yard and my own dog who is 10000% dog-friendly. I am used to crate-trained dogs as well as those who may need to be restricted in the house. They will have my full attention no matter the environment to ensure they are well taken care of.

About: I've taken care of dogs of many different ages and sizes. I have grown up with dogs and am in awe by each of their amazing personalities. They really are something special. I have experience helping with potty training, teaching tricks, and giving medicine when needed. Your fur baby should be taken care of and paid attention to when you are away from them. I know how much my dogs have always been my babies and they should be cared for by others with respect and love too. I currently telecommute and live in midtown, in Sacramento. I have flexibility in my schedule and work location luckily. However, I live alone and can't have a fur baby at my current apartment, unfortunately. We just put down my family dog of 15 years and I would love to be able to get my doggie fix and help someone care for their baby when they have to be away from them. I am flexible with my availability, so just ask. I am conveniently located in midtown and can travel to where needed, when needed. While I cant have a dog at my apartment, I am available to come to you and your fur baby. I can hangout with them, walk them, play with them, take them to dog parks or whatever your needs are.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From growing up with family pets to regularly watching the dogs and cats of friends and relatives, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and routines. “Lisa is truly amazing! She’s been incredibly patient with our timid, anxious dog, Plum… and with my own nerves about introducing her to a new sitter. We started with short walks, and at first, Plum wouldn’t even make it a block before turning back. But Lisa was determined to win her over. After a few more tries and a weekend with Lisa, everything changed. Plum came home happy, tired, and totally exhausted. Now, Plum can’t wait to go on walks with her and gets excited if I even mention Lisa’s name. We’re so grateful to have found her!”

Hi! I’m Xaiviea, I’m 29, and animals have been the biggest part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for just about everything—puppies, kittens, parrots, reptiles, ferrets, chinchillas, barn animals—you name it! I spent a couple years as a professional dog trainer at Petco, regularly volunteer at local shelters, and have been an emergency placement foster many times. I’ve even dabbled in reptile husbandry and helped get my own mom into reptiles—she now has five, and I help her care for them! Right now I live with family to help out my elderly parents, and I share my life with four lovable Frenchies and my sphynx cat, Chicken. (Yes, his name is Chicken. Yes, he lives up to it. 😂) My long-term dream is to open two animal rescues—one just for French Bulldogs and one for all animals—with tons of space for everything from horses to hedgehogs. I also hope to go back to school for biology and zoology, and I’m using Rover to help save for that goal. I treat every pet like my own—furry kids with unique needs, personalities, and big emotions. You can trust me to keep them safe, loved, and totally spoiled. 💖 Thanks for reading—I can’t wait to meet your babies! My schedule is completely open and i promise I will make caring for your pets my first priority. I can stay as long as you'd like or I can pop in as many times as you'd like. I don't play when it comes to pet care! I take pride in how I care for my pets and your pets will get the exact same treatment.

About: I’ve been petsitting for dogs, cats, small animals & farm animals for over 8 years now. I grew up with Bull Mastiffs and now currently have 4 rescues who I spend much of my time with when I’m not out at school. I’ve comfortably taken care of bookings of over a dozen cats & dogs at a time before & am comfortable administering medicine, bathing/grooming, training, exercising, and any cleaning necessary in addition to sitting. I’ve taken training and behavioral classes and have volunteered with local shelters and rescues for years. The longest I’ve so far pet sat for a family has been for about 2 weeks & I am comfortable with both short + long term sitting. I’m currently in my second year of college at the University of Redlands and work part-time on campus. Because of this, I may be away for 3-4 hours at a time (depending on the day). Beyond my classes and work schedule, I am able to stay with your pets much of the day and I always try to stick the best that I can to their normal routine. Being so far from my dogs back home, I always love when I can spend time with animals! As of right now I am only able to provide care in your own home, although I’m looking into the possibility of boarding in the future. However, regardless if boarding or sitting in your own home, I like to stick to whatever the typical routine is for your animal, in order to help provide comfort for your animal and reduce stress or anxiety that they may have while you are away. And, I can promise your pet(s) will have plenty of play time & attention while you’re away! 🐾💗

Brenda L.
“Brenda has assisted us in watching our dog Rocky, a 3yr old Goldendoodle. She reached out to confirm details on what Rocky’s schedule is throughout the day and abided by that. Since Rocky is high energy and needs his exercise she took him on two walks and even let him out in the backyard to run around. You can tell she has a true passion and love for animals. While we were gone she even helped with our gecko. She has been back a couple of times and Rocky is definitely happy with her.”

Madelyn D.
“Maddie has watched my two cats and my dog-an active lab, in my home many times. She is wonderful. Responds quickly, responsible, clean, kind, and of course wonderful with the animals. I highly recommend her. Your animals will be cuddled and loved by Maddie”

Xaiviea L.
“Xaiviea is obsessed with animals in the healthiest way. We've been best friends ever since I was 8 (I'm 31) and she's had SO many pets. She's never rehomed any for unnecessary reasons and I'm pretty sure she's a pet foster still i could be wrong but she used to I know that. I remember a while back she was looking for work cause she moved back to California from out of state and she was hurting for money pretty bad (I hope I don't get in trouble with her saying that haha) but she ALWAYS managed to get the fancy food all her dogs ate, always got there vitamins, always managed to have the money for vet apts, like she would go hungry before her pets would lol her pets wouldn't even notice whenever she'd be broke or something like that lol she can't pass a dog without yelling "GOOD BOY SPOTTING" can't watch any animal stretch without saying "biiiiiig stretch!" If you walk down the street with your dog by xaiviea she will ask you if she can pet it lol I have a corgi named Jack and she's the only one I trust to watch him. She's his regular sitter and I know she'll do anything to keep him safe and happy. Xaiviea is the best candidate for this job by far”

Julianna C.
“Julianna has been pet and home sitting for years. She has experience with all kinds of pets, including farm animals, both young and elderly, big or small. She frequently volunteers at rescue sanctuaries and rescues lost pets in the area. Julianna is comfortable administering medication to animals too. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a true animal lover who is responsible, reliable and caring.”

Dominic C.

“Dominic had a calming effect and was confident and caring with our pup. Highly recommend!”

Nicole P.

“Nicole loves walking dogs. Highly recommended”

Timothy B.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Timothy for any pet sitting opportunity. He is one of the most warm, caring, and dependable people I know. His deep love for animals shines through in everything he does — not just because he enjoys their company, but because he truly values the joy and bond that animals bring to our lives. Timothy has a background as a live-in caregiver, which speaks volumes about his sense of responsibility, patience, and compassion. These qualities naturally extend to the way he cares for animals. He regularly helps care for my pets — three dogs and two cats — and is completely hands-on, whether it’s feeding them, walking them, playing with them, or simply giving them attention and affection. What stands out most is how protective and gentle he is. He has a strong sense of empathy, especially when it comes to animals, and has zero tolerance for animal cruelty of any kind. Any pet in Timothy's care is not just looked after — they’re truly loved. Anyone would be lucky to have Timothy as their pet sitter. I can say with confidence that he’ll treat your pets like family.”

Krista M.
“I can't say enough about Krista's pet sitting services! I had to leave for a long business trip, almost 3 weeks, and at the last minute, family plans fell through for them to watch my dog and cat. Krista was available last minute, answered all of my questions, and made her schedule flexible around me. I can't thank Krista enough for the amazing care she gave both Nala and Spark. She is truly a remarkable young lady with everything she does.”
