About: Hi! I’m Samantha! I’m an experienced pet sitter and dog walker with a deep love for animals. I’ve cared for pets of all kinds and volunteered at the Berkeley Animal Care Shelter, where I worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I’m reliable, attentive, and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’d love to care for your furry friend like they’re my own! I currently orioritize pet sitting as my main job since I do not work outside of that! This means your pet(s) will be at the center of my attention throughout their care! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the responsibility of caring for your pet and home seriously, always following your instructions closely and keeping routines consistent. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new, and I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate care you can feel confident about.

About: i’ve taken care and have lived with dogs for all of my life being a part of someone’s home and taking care of someone’s dog or pet is something I want to accomplish to give the owner a peace of mind to know their animal is in good hands. I work part time for a swim school, teaching kids how to swim for their safety. Once I’m home, I make sure my own animals get their love and attention. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and have a fenced backyard. In your own home would be most fitting however, and would provide proper pet necessities

“Adrian was careful to understand exactly what my cats needed. He took great care of them and did some extras as well. I very much appreciated him.”

“Justin is wonderful! Our cats took to him well, and he really cared for them as well. He made sure they were played with and fed and helped clean the litterbox. Would definitely recommend Justin and would book again.”

About: I grew up with a vet tech and animal trainer, was put on a horse before I could even walk and my first best friend was a Jack Russel Terrier. I have some medical and dog training experience thanks to how I was raised and do daily wellness checks on your babies, along with constant updates on how they are doing. I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them behind, so I do my best to ease any anxieties you have while you are away. I have class in the mornings for an hour, twice a week and work part time so I am able to be with and exercise your pets often. When I am staying at a clients home, I not only take extreme precautions and attention to detail to the animals but also make sure the household remains clean and maintained. This includes making sure the trash is minimal to none so animals don’t get into it, cleaning up the yard several times a day and wiping down floors so dander doesn’t build up.
“Mooney was our first drop-in cat sitter and we were not disappointed. He followed all our directions and went above and beyond expectations. Will definitely be using his services again.”

About: I live in the Sacramento Delta in a quiet neighborhood. Great neighborhood for walks and a nice fenced corner lot yard for your pup to run around in. I live with my elderly father who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. 24 hr supervision since I work remotely! I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks. Your doggy will recieve a good amount of outdoor time and have an active and stimulating day. I’m comfortable with your dog sleeping in bed with me but respect if you prefer them to sleep in a crate. I work remotely so I have no issue staying at your house as well!

About: Growing up, my family fostered sick kittens and raised rats. Now, I love working with critters of all sorts, and I'd love to get to know yours. As a PhD student, my schedule is especially flexible over the summer. I am usually in Sacramento a few days per week and Davis otherwise, but I'm happy to work with your schedule. With reliable wifi, I'm happy to work from your home to accommodate your pet's schedule. Availability for frequency of potty breaks/walks varies; just ask! On all visits, if anything seems off, I will check in right away--better safe than sorry.

About: I have had dogs all my life. From my fluffy Lhasa Apso to my Beagle, and my current chihuahua-supermutt, I simply love dogs. I regularly walk, feed, and bath my dogs and they are well loved. In middle school, neighbors entrusted me to watch their prized American Eskimo dogs while they went on a long vacation. It was barely a job! I currently work a full time but have a flexible schedule and can work from anywhere. My weekends and evenings are preferable but I am open to negotiating based on client needs. I have a single story home with ample space for pets and a large backyard for dogs to run around. There is also a park nearby that is great for walks. I do not used retractable leashes for safety reasons and strongly prefer harnesses when walking dogs.

Hi! I’m Xaiviea, I’m 29, and animals have been the biggest part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for just about everything—puppies, kittens, parrots, reptiles, ferrets, chinchillas, barn animals—you name it! I spent a couple years as a professional dog trainer at Petco, regularly volunteer at local shelters, and have been an emergency placement foster many times. I’ve even dabbled in reptile husbandry and helped get my own mom into reptiles—she now has five, and I help her care for them! Right now I live with family to help out my elderly parents, and I share my life with four lovable Frenchies and my sphynx cat, Chicken. (Yes, his name is Chicken. Yes, he lives up to it. 😂) My long-term dream is to open two animal rescues—one just for French Bulldogs and one for all animals—with tons of space for everything from horses to hedgehogs. I also hope to go back to school for biology and zoology, and I’m using Rover to help save for that goal. I treat every pet like my own—furry kids with unique needs, personalities, and big emotions. You can trust me to keep them safe, loved, and totally spoiled. 💖 Thanks for reading—I can’t wait to meet your babies! My schedule is completely open and i promise I will make caring for your pets my first priority. I can stay as long as you'd like or I can pop in as many times as you'd like. Whatever you want I'll make happen! I'm an animal freak and provide the best care possible. My dogs are all on individual diets and have there supplements and all! I don't play when it comes to pet care! I take pride in how I care for my pets and your pets will get the exact same treatment.

“Amanda did a great job visiting, talking to and feeding my cats. I appreciate her giving them the love and attention in my absence.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very little but now I have the medical experience to back me up as I am finishing veterinary school. Who else would you want to take care of your pets while you are away? I am available M-S. It just depends. We can work out the details which we can do one on one to see how many times a day and how long of a duration. As a veterinary student, animal safety and well-being are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, secure, and clean environment. I closely follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, medication, and routines, and I’m comfortable recognizing and responding to signs of stress or illness. In a client’s home, I respect their space and aim to keep pets as comfortable as possible by maintaining their normal routines. In my own home, I ensure the space is pet-proofed, with no access to harmful items or unsafe areas. I always supervise interactions between animals and monitor behavior closely. With my background in veterinary medicine, I bring an extra layer of knowledge and awareness to ensure every pet is safe, healthy, and happy under my care.

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a little boy, including dogs, fish, hermit crabs and even cats. I love interacting with animals and going on walks with my dogs. My schedule is very flexible and I'm available mornings, afternoons and evenings during the week and also on weekends. I can adapt to anything you might need! When I am taking my dogs for walks I always make sure to use a leash so that they don't go running after a cat or squirrel and get hit by a car. I also pay attention to their emotional well being and provide lots of love and attention.

Gwyneth C.
“I can’t recommend Gwyn highly enough as a pet sitter. She has cared for my pets—including my two energetic cats and my senior dog—with incredible attentiveness, compassion, and skill. Gwyn clearly has a deep love for animals and the experience to back it up. What truly sets her apart is her ability to handle special needs pets with ease and empathy. I always feel at peace knowing my furry (and fuzzy!) family members are in such capable hands. From administering medications to understanding each pet’s unique personality, Gwyn goes above and beyond. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely devoted to animal care, Gwyn is the one. She’s become like family to us and our pets absolutely adore her!”

Andrea M.
“Andrea is a wonderful pet owner and caregiver. She's patient with pets and allows them to come to her in their own time as well as gives them as much affection as they want or are willing to take. She does really well with taking dogs on walks and hasn't had any issues in the past about keeping them reigned if they became excited by something. She's also responsible with caretaking, especially when it comes to feeding and cleaning up, as she doesn't like to have any messes stick around.”

Xaiviea L.
“Xaiviea is obsessed with animals in the healthiest way. We've been best friends ever since I was 8 (I'm 31) and she's had SO many pets. She's never rehomed any for unnecessary reasons and I'm pretty sure she's a pet foster still i could be wrong but she used to I know that. I remember a while back she was looking for work cause she moved back to California from out of state and she was hurting for money pretty bad (I hope I don't get in trouble with her saying that haha) but she ALWAYS managed to get the fancy food all her dogs ate, always got there vitamins, always managed to have the money for vet apts, like she would go hungry before her pets would lol her pets wouldn't even notice whenever she'd be broke or something like that lol she can't pass a dog without yelling "GOOD BOY SPOTTING" can't watch any animal stretch without saying "biiiiiig stretch!" If you walk down the street with your dog by xaiviea she will ask you if she can pet it lol I have a corgi named Jack and she's the only one I trust to watch him. She's his regular sitter and I know she'll do anything to keep him safe and happy. Xaiviea is the best candidate for this job by far”

Amanda R.

“Amanda did a great job visiting, talking to and feeding my cats. I appreciate her giving them the love and attention in my absence.”

Susan N.
“I am writing this testimonial in support of Ms. Susan Naibkhyl who is currently a second year student in the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine program. I had the pleasure of teaching and interacting with Susan in the fall 2024 and spring 2025 Veterinary Anatomy I and II courses and I can testify to her dedication, reliability, and true passion for both the animal and human population.”

Reiner K.
“I’ve had Reiner watch after my dogs several times when I was out of town, and everything went amazing! Both my dogs were adequately looked after and Reiner went above and beyond in his care for them! One of my dogs also has to have a medication taken twice a day at specific times and Reiner was able to stay on top of this with no problems! I would highly recommend Reiner as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”

Krista M.
“I can't say enough about Krista's pet sitting services! I had to leave for a long business trip, almost 3 weeks, and at the last minute, family plans fell through for them to watch my dog and cat. Krista was available last minute, answered all of my questions, and made her schedule flexible around me. I can't thank Krista enough for the amazing care she gave both Nala and Spark. She is truly a remarkable young lady with everything she does.”
