About: I’ve taken care of multiple different dogs over the last couple years! I’ve taken care of dogs for my friends, coworkers, family, and my parent’s coworkers/boss! I currently work 3 days a week, but I pick my own schedule and can let you know if I am available certain days! I am also a part-time student, I only have class 2 days a week! About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine.
