“Alyssa was wonderful! She checked in on our 5 cats daily while we were away. Three of them are less than a year old and like to get into messy situations. One of the adult cats is not very social with the other pets or people, but Alyssa made time to sit with her each day so she wouldn’t get lonely. On day two there was an issue with the door lock, but she was great about communicating with us and hiring a locksmith to get her back in the house the next day. She made sure we weren’t charged for the day she couldn’t get in. It’s my first time using the Rover app, and I’m super pleased we connected with Alyssa.”

About: I have had a dog for over 20 years. I'm down for a good tug of war or just sit on the couch. I know having a stranger in the house can be scary and trust must be earned. Every dog is different. I'm retired so my schedule is very open. I like to get outside and walk so this is a perfect fit. Sadly I just lost my dog so I'm ready to share my love with someone else's buddy. I have a fenced in yard. But I'm not planning on taking care of animals in my home. So not sure why I have to fill this out

As a longtime pet-owner myself, I've wrestled with this same issue; especially with one of my former pups who couldn't be crated or boarded due to extreme anxiety! I am a mature working professional who loves animals and will be attentive to their needs. My experience is with dogs and cats, however, I have also taken care of ducks, chickens, parrots, and geese! About: I’ve been around pets my entire life. Most of my experience is with dogs. I’ve been around all breeds and love each and every one. I can care for new puppies (help with potty training and leash training), those pesky teens, and seniors. Let me care for your furry kid! Currently I work part time so I have a few open days to care for pets. I’m available on Mondays and Wednesdays most of the day and T, Th, and F I am available after 5pm. I’m open to walking, feeding and/or playing with your pet! I have a fenced in back yard which is great for playing fetch or just hanging out in the sun. A large kennel is available for any pet that may need it. Or I can stop by your place and feed your animals and let them stretch their legs.
