“I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn to anyone! She was a great dog sitter and did very well with Charlie. She has a natural, gentle way with dogs. She was prompt, personable and professional. I would absolutely hire her again and so should you! !”

“Great girl- she made me feel very comfortable and was very personable. She stayed at our home with our dog and sent pictures and videos of our girl. Alize was flexible too as we had a flight delay and she covered some additional unexpected hours. Will be using her routinely. Thanks, Alize!”

“Azucena (Zu) took such great care of Titi over the weekend! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing Titi was in good hands. She followed all instructions perfectly, kept us updated with pictures and videos, and showed so much love and attention to Titi, especially important since she’s a senior dog. We could tell Titi was comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. Zu went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated her communication and kindness. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring. Thank you so much, Zu! ❤️”

“Sloan is great! We feel lucky to have found her to take care of our two pups. Looking forward to booking again. Thanks again Sloan for your extra care this week. We all appreciate you!”

“Adri bonded with Charlie immediately, she was prompt, kind friendly and accommodating. She sent pictures of charlie periodically throughout the day along with frequent updates. I definitely will book her again!”

“Karla was absolutely wonderful! She was able to accommodate a last-minute house-sitting request, which I truly appreciated. My pup wasn’t feeling well at the time, and Karla went above and beyond—carefully administering medication and making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. I came home to happy, healthy pups and a well-kept home, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would highly recommend Karla to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter!”

About: I've been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to dogs and cats, I've cared for puppies, kittens, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, lizards, monkeys, and other exotic and domestic animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, administer basic care, and provide companionship for their pets while they're away. I understand that every animal has unique needs, routines, and personalities, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll provide attentive and reliable care. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I work nearby Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and am home most weekends. Depending on your pet's needs and temperament, I may be able to bring well-socialized dogs with me to work, allowing for additional companionship, supervision, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. I can also return home during lunch breaks when needed for feedings, medication administration, exercise, or extra attention. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine and provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is clean, air-conditioned, and located in a quiet townhouse community with limited traffic, a single entrance and exit, and only a few residential buildings. We have a fenced patio, a dedicated pet walking area nearby, and a large sliding glass door that provides natural light and outdoor views while allowing pets to remain comfortably indoors. Unless otherwise requested by the owner, pets will be kept safely indoors at all times. Outdoor walks, potty breaks, playtime, and patio access will always be provided according to your preferences and your pet's individual needs. I understand that every pet has different routines, rules, and comfort levels, and I am committed to following your care instructions exactly as requested. For added security, my home has keypad entry access, and pets are never given unsupervised access to bedrooms, helping maintain a safe and controlled environment. Fresh filtered water is always available if preferred. I share my home with my 11-year-old son, who has been raised around animals and understands the importance of treating every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. We both genuinely love animals and work together to provide a calm, caring, and welcoming environment where pets feel like part of the family.
“Dayana is always great with my doggies! She is a regular in my household, she is so carrying, always keeping me updated with everything and even goes out of her way to help me whenever I book with her. I highly recommend her!”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and after doing our research we decided to reach out to Kiara. It was evident during our first meet and greet that she was a great fit for us. She was super pleasant upon first meeting her and my pets immediately took to her when she came into our apartment. For me that is always a good sign as I feel pets are a great judge of character. Kiara was very accommodating with her schedule and she sent us pictures and updates in a timely manner. We also loved her genuine joy in interacting with the pets. She loves to smile and that kind of positivity is always well received by our fur babies. We came home to happy and healthy pets and that's all you can ask for as pet owners. We will have absolutely no hesitation in using Kiara again when we need a pet sitter and she will be our first choice. Thank you again to Kiara for all you did in making our vacation that much better.”
“We rescued our pup at 3 months old, and for the first time, we were away from him. We were apprehensive about leaving him alone but we decided to take a leap of faith. We found Camila’s profile and Camila was AMAZING! She truly took care of our dog as if he were her own. Not only him, but she also cared for our 2 cats as well. Rest assured that if you book with Camila, you will be in great hands.”

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. I have cared for dogs and cats throughout my entire life and have a genuine love for all pets. While growing up in Peru, I rescued numerous abandoned dogs and cats, helping them recover by providing care, food, and lots of affection until they regained their health. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, dedication, and paying close attention to the individual needs of each animal. Since moving to the United States, I have cared for two dogs and one cat, providing them with a life filled with love, comfort, and attention. My most recent dog had a disability and required daily medication, a special diet, and additional care. Through this experience, I learned the importance of maintaining routines, administering medications properly, and being attentive to any special needs a pet may have. I strive to treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I am responsible, caring, and highly observant of their physical and emotional needs. My priority is to ensure that your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available during weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or boarding, ensuring that they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and companionship throughout their stay. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, and daily routines. I maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment, supervise pets at all times, and make sure they have fresh water, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection so they feel comfortable and happy.

About: I have been around animals all my life. I grew up in a home where animals are treated like family. You have to show them TLC. I currently have five dogs and five cats at home. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining their normal routine. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions from the owner. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their environment clean and reducing stress during their owner's absence.

“Wow. Katherine was great. She followed instructions to a tee and kept Hastings company in my apartment while I was away including take care of all walks and feeding. Also, Katherine had to take over for another person on Rover midway through my trip and she was great about accommodating the hand off. I would gladly use Katherine again.”

Although this was our first time using her, she made certain to make our dog, Charlie, feel completely at home in hers. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cutler Ridge walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cutler Ridge maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cutler Ridge choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
