Alexis has been very open to working with my dog with special behavior considerations. My dog loved her and warmed up much more quickly than I expected! While she is a relatively new Rover and is still learning all the intricacies when it comes to navigating this line of work, her transparency and openness makes me believe that she will go far in the animal care field.

About: I have taken care of animals since the age of 12. I have experience with a wide range of pets including ,but not limited to cats, horses, small dogs ranging from chihuahua, Yorkie, and pomeranian. To larger dogs like German shepherds, Rottweiler, pitbulls, and great Pyrenees hurding dogs. I also have a history of equestrian work with horses so it's made it easier to handle larger dogs. All pets deserve to be pampered and treated like family. Every time no excuse. I am a stay at home mom so I have no schedule to work around. I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How each pet is treated will heavily depend on the owners wants and the pets needs. I will do my absolute best to keep any discussed expectations met. And I will always make sure I do what I can to help the pet have fun and be safe and comfortable. And for house sitting my goals are to meet all expectations discussed before hand and make someone's life just a bit easier .

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong dedication to animals and their wellbeing. Even though I’m just beginning my professional pet‑sitting journey with Rover, my years of real, hands‑on experience caring for animals has given me a strong foundation. I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve volunteered with shelters, helped animals I’ve found in need, and cared for family and friends’ pets, which has added to my experience beyond my own animals. I have over 10 years of hands‑on experience as a pet owner. I’ve raised three dogs — Zoey (Springer Spaniel), Stella (Pitbull mix), and Merida (German Shepherd mix). I raised Zoey and Merida from puppyhood, provided senior care for Zoey until she passed at 15, and rescued Stella, who is now a healthy 12‑year‑old. Managing multiple dogs has taught me how to handle different personalities, energy levels, and needs at the same time. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m open to caring for any animal. I can follow medication routines, special feeding instructions, and I have a reliable vehicle for safe pet transport, if needed. My priority is always creating a safe, loving environment where your pet feels understood, respected, and genuinely cared for. Every animal deserves to feel protected and valued, and I’m committed to providing that level of care every time. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work full time, but I still have plenty of dedicated time set aside for caring for your animals. On weekdays, I’m available from 3:30pm–10pm EST for drop‑in visits, walks, or check‑ins. On most weekends, I’m able to offer flexible house visits or overnight stays, depending on what your pet needs. I care for pets with the same level of attention, patience, and love that I give my own animals. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress‑free. I can manage medication schedules, specific feeding regimens, and any comfort routines your pet relies on. I’m attentive to details, from monitoring behavior and energy levels to making sure your pet feels safe.

About: I spent 12 years in the Marine Corps and decided to change career paths. After I got out I found a different passion which was training dogs. Please read what sets me apart from every one else and if you still have questions afterwards then do not hesitate to reach out to me!
-Your pet will have 24/7 supervision and company, if an emergency arises on my end I will immediately reach out to you and let you know, I will never leave your dog unattended because I would not want someone to do it my dog, therefore I always treat visitors with the same respect. -My dog Moxie is seen and treated like one of my kids and yours will be to while under my care! -I will keep in contact at all times and update you on their visit w/photos. -I am a professional dog trainer who does boarding on the side. They will not have any unsupervised play like any of the other day care or boarding facilities around. I take your dog’s mental and physical care seriously. Every interaction they have can have a lasting impact on them for the rest of their life’s. I am currently a stay at home dad so my schedule is very flexible. About: I’ve been loving and caring for dogs since I was young, and am currently raising my own three: Jax, Chihiro, & Delta. I’m also experienced with cats through informal care of outdoor/community cats. I’m known to be attentive & reliable, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and daily routines. I’m currently working full-time, (9-4:30 Mon-Fri), but I have availability from 6-8:30am & 5-11:30pm Mon-Fri, and 5am-11:30pm on the weekends. I listen to every pet parent, noting down important information that’ll help me provide the best care to their pets. About: I have always been around dogs my entire life. I have always been in love with dogs and they are something I truly admire. I have been entrusted throughout my life of taking care of my friends and neighbors dogs. I have also worked with dogs from Yorkies all the way to Great Danes so size doesn’t bother me. During my experience I have worked with puppies all the way up to our senior pups making sure every dog is cared for and loved to the highest extent possible. I am currently a part time student, which means I can be around your pets most of the day due to my classes only taking at most 3 hours of my day so I can make sure your pets are loved and appreciated. Taking care of someone else’s pet is truly a privilege to be trusted enough to make sure someone’s baby is cared for and loved as much as you do. I will make sure to communicate and provide you with pictures and videos of your pets throughout and make sure to keep you updated with anything. I am a quick learner and will make to keep your stress levels low.

About: After 19 years of living with large dogs, i've grown accustomed to their behaviors, living with German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Huskys, Great Pyrenees, and many others. I'm used to breeds that many people consider aggressive, though I'm also good with small dogs. Since I started pet sitting for neighbors I've been around chihuahuas, terriers, poodles, corgis and many more. I'd love the chance to meet your dogs regardless of how big or small they are! I work full time at a doctors office but I have a two hour break every day, from 12-2 so I've got time during work to hang out with you puppies! I get off at 12 of Fridays and don't work at all on the weekends, I would be available for your pets almost all day, available to stop by during breaks and spending evenings and early mornings with them! Due to my availability with work I am able to spend a lot of time at the house with the pets I'm watching. I spend several hours a day and home with the pets, spending time with them, playing outside and just hanging out together!

About: we have taken care of pets since childhood :) we have lots of experience with pets from A-to-Z and we provide photo and videos, along with additional detailed text updates. We treat others as family, we love to spoil others, and we also provide training if needed with positive reinforcement. We also not only provide pet sitting but plant sitting as well, we are huge into gardening and we can give lots of care information and advice on any plant that you have/want. We’re always here and are happy to help, we always respond fast especially when you need us, and we love to serve others because we love making people happy <3 We both have full time availability, so we are able to provide every single service available including leash training, pet training, plant sitting, housekeeping, etc. Our dream is to be able to care for every single pet that is in need even the ones that don’t have any homes, and to be able to hang out with pups and kitties all day long and give them all of the love that they deserve :) We care for pets in our home and both our client’s home by always putting their needs first, we always stick to routines (if they have one), and we even like to take them to doggy parks, buy them toys, buy them treats, teach them new tricks, or even play with them/go on longer walks as well :)

Jenna was great! She did exactly what we asked of her. Our 11 m/o Boxer can be a little rowdy sometimes, but Jenna managed to care for him with ease. We booked 30 minute drop in for our boy & Jenna was kind enough to stay 10-15 minutes over to ensure he got just enough time and attention. “Vinny” is known for being a messy eater. Each evening we came back home, we were pleasantly surprised to see he had no food crumbs on the ground. She sent a couple pictures on each visit which helped put our minds at ease. Jenna was friendly and had and excellent attitude. I will be recommending her to all my fellow dog mom/dad friends and will definitely look to book with her in the future.

About: I am a huge pet lover who enjoys their company just as much as they enjoy ours. Between walking, playing fetch and doing fun tricks for treats. There is nothing better than a good snuggle from our fur-babies to end the day. I work during the week from home. I allow my fur-babies on the furniture to cuddle as well as bed. We have lint-rollers for a reason. The back yard is fenced in and big enough to roam and fetch, plenty of sticks to play around with as well. I do keep them indoors while I am away and spend much needed time outdoors in the fresh air if they are playful. Car rides are the absolute best! I currently work full time. I am available for boardings throughout the week and weekends as some days I allow my dogs to stay outside while I am away or working (there is plenty of shade and multiple water sources I put out) but I also have a bedroom with crates set up if you prefer they be indoors while I’m away. I have a fenced yard and three friendly fit babies to keep yours company. I also have two large/xtra large crates setup in a bedroom.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 142 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Cusseta. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cusseta. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
