About: My childhood dog, B.B., a fiercely loyal Jack Russell terrier, taught me how strong the bond between animals and their humans can be. He was my companion in all of my childhood adventures, and often took care of me rather than the other way around. The the first pet I cared for besides B.B. was a Weimaraner I began dog sitting at the age of 10 until I was a teenager. Since then, I have cared for dozens of pets ranging from puppies to seniors, including complex care requiring medicine to be given multiple times a day. I've cared for all creatures great and small from pet rats to dogs, cats, chickens, and horses for extended stays. Additionally, I am an active hiker and specialize in exercising and socializing dogs on group hikes. I just moved to Clarksville and am looking to start and grow my clientele here, so my availability is wide open. I am currently available any day of the week for dog walking/hiking or pet sitting until slots begin to fill up. For walks and hikes, I always bring plenty of water for myself and the dogs along with other necessities including waste bags, a first-aid kit, and, if needed, paw protection. When caring for pets in their own homes, I work with pet parents to try to keep their pets' routines as consistent as possible, adding in walks and playtimes as needed, to ensure they are just as comfortable as when their parents are home. I have two cats and a dog of my own, so I do not typically offer care in my home.

As long as I’m given a little notice, I can adjust my work hours to fit your schedule whether that’s for regular check-ins, overnight care, or last-minute plans. You can feel confident that your pet will get the attention and care they deserve without any conflicts. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it by using leashes and taking pets on regular walks around my neighborhood or to nearby parks. I enjoy being active and love spending time outdoors with the dogs, giving them plenty of exercise and enrichment. My own dogs are very friendly and would love the extra company, which helps create a warm and welcoming environment for any visiting pets. I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for whether they’re staying in my home or I'm visiting them in theirs.

About: I have taken care of a lot of animals. I’ve had exotic animals, cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of senior dogs while also taking care of four week old puppies I will always make sure your animals are treated as if they were my own and make sure they get all the love and attention that is needed. I’m currently only working afternoons so I am available in the morning but I can normally drop in twice a day if needed. For housesitting, I will make sure your house is clean and tidy when I leave and make sure your animal is well taken care of I will make sure your dog stays on their schedule and has adequate time outside. I will love on your fur babies and keep them safe while you are out of town.

About: hi! i’m jay. as a dog mom myself, i know that i would want my fur baby to be cared for. i am able to meet your standards, and care for your dog in the way that i would care for mine. all while keeping your baby safe, and having fun. i am also semi-experienced with livestock, reptiles, and aquatic animals. i am more open to overnight stays, as i am a full time college student. i am able to visit around 12pm everyday, except thursday. and can do evening visits/ overnights. the care i give every animal depends on the owner’s recommendation, and how they care for their pets. i also understand that keeping a routine is crucial for your fur babies. i am a huge animal person, and understand that every pet is different. i have also worked with disabled animals, as i have one myself. So, I am used to having to accommodate.
