“When we needed someone last minute to help us out on the Fourth of July, we struck gold when Molly popped up on Rover. My two high energy pups took to her immediately. I was able to enjoy my holiday getaway knowing that my boys would be well taken care of. Molly took the dogs on a hike, played with them and fed them, and she sent me lots of photos. She was prompt and professional, with excellent communication throughout. Highly recommend.”

“Amber did such a great job with our cats! We have one older, finicky cat who sometimes marks. Without requesting it, Amber removed our sheets and started them in the washer. Thank you to Laura for being professional, caring and a snuggle buddy for my little girl . I highly recommend Laura and Rover.. will use these services again for sure!”

“This was my first use of this service. I was very apprehensive especially having signed up last minute. When Courtney responded quickly, I must say I was skeptical because I thought her pictures were too good to be true. But she proved to be that rare individual who is beautiful on the outside and very caring and considerate on the inside. She was prompt and helpful with the quelling my fears as a first time user. I hope to benefit from her services again in the future.”

“Angelisa is so good to our 4 year old Maltipoo. She is so patient, gentle and calming. She knows his routines and our instructions. She is very professional and always on time and stays the whole time scheduled. My family and I are so happy we have her to be there for our little guy when we can’t be.”

About: Hi fellow animal-lovers! As a former social worker I have been caring for others most of my adult life. In keeping with that, I am excited to shift gears and fulfill my passion for caring for animals. I’m here to help, have fun, and provide top-notch care for your best bud! I am available Monday through Friday from the hours of about 8am to 4pm, with potential to provide pet care as needed beyond those hours once a strong relationship has been established. I promise to be punctual, friendly, helpful and respectful of your pet and your property. I will follow your personalized instructions carefully, and will communicate any concerns immediately.

“Amy and her boyfriend checked in on my 7 year old cat while my husband and I got married and honeymooned. She was great and took wonderful care of Bagherra (my first fur baby!) Thanks Amy :)”

About: I am a dog mamma who loves animals. I have had and cared for dogs since I was a child. I am attentive and caring to animals and love spending time with them. I have an 8 year old Shih tzu who loves dogs, cats and people! All dogs are puppies to me and big or small. I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. For anyone looking to travel for the holidays - I am available for most holidays since my family lives out of state. I work from home so I am always with your furbaby. I have a fenced in yard, and go out with my pup 3 times a day, but can do more if that's what your pup requires. I typically stay in the yard with him, but if I also have surveillance cameras on the yard for any time I'm not out there as well. I have a fenced in yard. My house is 2 levels and I have baby gates on the stairs so pets stay on whatever floor I'm on. I have multiple enrichment toys and a great supply of treats to keep them happy. I also have a sweet 8 yr old Shih-tzu that absolutely loves having other animals to play with! If your dog uses pee pads, I have those as well. My spoiled pup has at least 4 cozy beds and is happy to share! I do allow animals on the bed and furniture, I just wipe paws with doggy wipes after any outside time. Anything else you want to know, just ask!

About: I have over 50 hours of experience walking dogs at my local shelter. I am very comfortable handling dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I work retail nights and weekends, and I attend school part-time. I am more than capable of working around my school and work schedule to make time for your pup(s)! I am very attentive to dogs' needs and I am adept at reading their body language. If you have any specific concerns about your dog, I will keep them at the front of my mind while handling them. I have experience working with reactive dogs and keeping them safe while in my care.

About: Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I learned so much, especially about having patience and compassion for animals that are sick and scared. I gained a lot of knowledge about safe animal handling and body language. I've also completed Fear Free training! I have adopted a pretty quirky Beagle/Boston terrier mix about 10 yrs ago and he's kept me busy ever since. He's very smart and active. A lot of understanding and keeping him busy have helped him come such a long way. It's been so rewarding to see! Are you looking to get your pets out and about while you're at work? I'm available weekdays from the morning until early evening. I'm available for a Saturday morning stroll as well! I would care for your pet as you request. Whether it be a neighborhood walk, a fenced in yard, or a path nearby, I look forward to doing what your pet enjoys! I always have safety in mind, so your pet would always be under supervision and leashed in my care.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a sweet 7 year old Yorkie mix who is definitely the center of our household. If your pup is used to a home where they get lots of attention, then ours is the right fit. I’m a teacher so my summers and weekends are relatively free and I would love to spend some of July and August caring for your pup. During the summer, I usually take my dog Petey on about 4 walks a day and would love to bring your pup along as well. I do only take small- medium sized dogs as Petey can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds. I live with my husband and stepchildren who have had dogs all their lives and understand how to be around them. I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I love going for dog walks and you can be assured your pup will be outside for a good portion of the day. I can crate your dog if you like, but we don’t crate our own.

“Katie was great! She dropped in my two cats every day for a week and made sure to take pictures and videos which she sent me each day along with a message about how they were doing and what she did . I would totally recommend her to anyone looking for help with their pets . I will definitely be using her again in the future !”

“I hired Renee to care for my kitties while I have been away. She stayed just as long as I asked her to and sent me plenty of videos while playing with my cats and kitten. They were definitely happy to see her and I will be booking her again! She has a genuine passion for animals :)”

Nicole M.
“I have a… difficult dog. He’s perfect and I love him but he’s not your average simple dog. Bronson adores Nikki! She took a moment to understand that he’s nervous and figured out what she could do to make him more comfortable with her. She worked with him and gained his trust and now she has it for life- he really does love her. I will always trust Nikki with animals because I’ve seen her take the time and I can see how much she cares. ❤️”
