About: I recently moved to the area from Colorado, where my career has been working in wildlife conservation managment. I also am an artist and create realistic pet portraits, and I used to work and teach photography. I'm passionate about animal care and have worked as a dog daycare supervisor, kennel manager, vet technician, and surgical assistant. I'm very knowledgeable and comfortable with pets with behavior or health issues. In college I was pet care tech certified and learned about ABC training methods. I have worked with and raised young, senior, rescue pets, and pets with behavior and/or health issues. I am training for running races, so feel free to request a run with your dog (weather and health permitting). Please feel free to message me about boarding and please note I do not have any children (even though my profile refuses to let me change that) As an online student, I can fit most pet care into my schedule and do my schoolwork around. I'm between jobs at the moment, so I can do visits throughout the day. In my home I have a senior dog, she is getting arthritis in her hips and back legs so we keep her moving to help her from getting too stiff - which means lots of walks and rest. And we have a young pyr mix puppy - he helps keep her young. I do not being them with me when I visit clients homes. When I visit your dog it is just me so your dog will get 100% of my attention

About: I provide care that is as close to your schedule as possible, and I love sending pet parents photos of their beloved friend. I have experience with young - old, spry - infirm pets. One-legged doggies, deaf dogs, one eyed cats...I love them all. I'm new to the area, and I'm working from home. I will try to replicate your schedule so that your pet does not feel disrupted. Upon intake, we will discuss the schedule that best works for your pet. Let me know if your pet likes car rides, hikes or just hanging out in your yard. My goal is to support your lifestyle and your pet's.

About: I’ve had experience with caring for younger animals but not a lot of older, I had quite a few dogs and cats throughout my life and now that I can’t have pets because of where we live and my boyfriend being allergic I’ve decided to help out others by helping them care for their pets Im a sahm and always have free time, my daughter and I are always going for walks so it’s perfect and I need the extra money I would play with them, feed them, walk them and or bathe them if need be at the owners home. I can’t bring any animals into our home because of my boyfriends allergy

About: Hello, I've taken care of kitties for a number of years. I myself use my pets as emotional support animals so I know you baby is important to you and defiantly needs to be cared for with lots of love and is part of the family! Your animal friend is in good hands when I care for them. <3 I do not currently work , but my availability is limited to Friday afternoons through Sunday evenings at the moment. I live in two bedroom duplex so I am unable to offer boarding in my own home. My cats have free range eating. In a client's home, I would follow whatever directions I am given and check on you pet as needed for walks or to make sure they are feed, hydrated or let out (on a leash of course) to do their business when needed.

About: My house was home for 4-5 doggies during holidays for the past few years. I have the flexibility to walk/feed/check in on fur babies. I can teach some basic tricks. I am currently taking a sabbatical from my 9-5. While exploring other careers, would love to care for animals on the side. I have a chihuahua that absolutely loves big doggies. If your dogs love other dogs, I would be happy to introduce my dog to them, if they love their space I will have my dog stay home. I would prefer to care for animals at client's home. My place is an option for emergency situations. I can feed them, walk them, play with them. Teach them some basic tricks.

About: I’ve dog sit for my neighbors growing up I also have my own golden retriever! I love playing with the dogs and taking them for walks! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from Yorkshire terriers to mastiffs. I’ve fed, walked, and entertained dogs most of my life and currently I’m a dog trainer. Currently I’m a dog trainer so I’m required to interact with dogs and learn their behaviors. I love reptiles and small animals, dogs being the most, so pet are is just something that allows me to better myself in that field. My backyard is fenced and I live in a nice area to walk dogs. I’ve studied dog behaviors and body posture so that I can better tend to how they may be feeling during anytime they’re in my care.

About: I have owned my own personal animals for the past 6 years, I have 3 dogs (all beautiful muts) and 8 cats. Aside from having my own furry kids, I've also worked in animal rescue for a little over 4 years. This job field has given me so much experience working with every sort of dog breed, and any cat temperament. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.
