“Jaron was great! We needed some help with our pup at very last minute, on a busy spring break week of all times. Jaron was available quickly, was incredibly attentive to our doggo, and asked some great questions letting us know he really cares about pups. Glad we could have him caring for our dog, we will absolutely rebook with him!”

“Adrianna was absolutely amazing while taking care of Kiru during my vacation. She went above and beyond in every way, sending me tons of photos and videos which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away, and it was clear Kiru was comfortable and well cared for. She cleaned up hairballs, vacuumed, and treated both my home and my cat with genuine care. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend Adrianna to anyone looking for someone dependable, thoughtful, and truly great with pets!”

About: My grandfather was a veterinarian for 50 years. I fortunately got to grow up living with them & was able to see animals of all ages, shapes & sizes. I don’t think there was a day where I wasn’t with him at the office “helping” out (scooping poop and cleaning kennels). In my own adult life, i have 4 of my own animals who I treat better than myself 🤣 i love them to pieces and always do my best to ensure their needs are met. You can expect me to do the same for you! My 17 yr old man Tiger has some extra care needs so I am 100% comfortable with doing extra care needs for your animals. I’m a social worker that is able to make her schedule most weeks. I work from home a few days a week and am able to make a flexible schedule. You can trust me to provide for your animals as I provide for my own. I work for the State of Iowa & have passed a background check with no concern.
“Allison is always super flexible with my last minutes bookings & changes. It’s a huge weight off of my shoulders to know that my pup is checked in on when she’s alone at home all day!”

“Alisa wa able to get my shy kitty to come out and play. I had a friend come in the mornings and she said Rosie would come sniff her food the retreat to the bedroom. Next time I will use Alisa for all visits, she is wonderful.”

“Thank you Sarah for helping me meet the needs of my cat while I was out of town! Although he didn’t cooperate fully, you never gave up on giving the best care you could. I arrived home to a well fed and happy cat!”
“Katie is AMAZING! We have a disabled cat, a senior cat and an easily spooked cat and she handled them all with such care and love! We have complex routines with each cat and she did it all beautifully! She is very accommodating and patient with working around schedules. She took lots of pictures and wrote detailed descriptions after each night of dropping in. I am 100% a returning client for her services. Book her, you will not regret it!”

“She was amazing with my two cats. They are a little skittish around new people, but she was patient and they warmed up to her so quickly. One of my kitties has digestive issues and sometimes goes outside the box, and she was amazing with cleaning up, which I didn't even ask of her (my friend was in charge of messes). From the moment she met them, she was warm and excited to see them, which is one of the biggest comforts I can get. Highly recommend her for your pet needs!”

“Thank you for taking care of our babies!! You did a great job and a fantastic job keeping us up to date hiw Daisy and Kimo was doing!!! They were happy to see us back home. Daisy quickly came to the garage door when she heard us!! And yes you forgot the lunch bag. If you want you can still stop by and pick it up. The alligator Daisy had in the middle of the floor, we don’t recognize it. Where did it come from?”

“Lauren was fantastic! Both my cats usually don’t come out for a stranger, but one of my cats came out to cuddle with Lauren!!!! Lauren truely cares about our fur babies!!!! Will definitely welcome her back into my home!!”

“Sylvia did a great job checking in on my puppy, Max! We met up the day before to show her around and go over everything she needed to know to take him on a walk, feed him, and play with him for a while while I was out. She asked great questions and provided updates while she was there! I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

“Austin was fantastic to work with a did a great job watching our kitties. He was able to get our shy kitty to come out with just 3 visits and some of our family hasn't even been able to see him yet. He sent great pictures and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend using Austin to watch your pets when out of town!”

“Jenevieve was fantastic and helped on short notice and did a fabulous job. She helped reassure that Albert was taken care of! I’d highly recommend her.”

“Grace was great with my boy Murphy! She was very communicative and made sure I was aware of anything I needed to be made aware of. Murphy loved the visits and I will definitely rebook her in the near future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crocker
Aubrie was great with our kitties while we were gone. She met them first, which gave us an idea how she interacted with them and gave us a chance to show her where supplies were. She was great about sharing 3 to 4 pictures every visit of them playing, eating, and just being cute. She made sure to send a good note each visit with the Rover Card and pictures. We would definitely use Aubrie again to take care of our cats when we leave town!!

Molly has been so great, dropping in on our kitties while we were on a 2 week vacation. She did such an awesome job checking on them, making sure everything was in working order and communicating with us! We are so thankful for her and will definitely book with her for future visits!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crocker. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
