I also have experience working in a veterinary office, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal care, behavior, and safety. She was always punctual, and she kept in touch throughout. Whenever she had a question, she texted me right away, and she sent photos to make sure she was doing everything exactly the way I wanted. She took care of all the essentials thoughtfully, not only filling the food and water bowls but washing them too, and she kept the litter boxes clean throughout. What impressed me most, though, was how gently she approached my kitties. They are quite skittish, and Katherine respected that, interacting with them delicately and patiently rather than forcing anything. One of them even came out to see her at feeding time, which says a lot about how calm and trustworthy she is. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. My dog is a Pomeranian Yorkie mix who I’ve had since he was a puppy, and he’s 14 now. In the past couple years he’s had some health problems which I’ve helped manage and care for him during that time. I also have 2 cats who have very different personalities. One of my cats broke his paw recently and I helped care for him during that time, and he has made a full recovery! I’ve cared for pets from the time they were young all the way through their senior years. I’d look after your pets as if they were my own and I can promise you the best care will be given to them. I do computer work on a freelancer schedule, which means I can build my work schedule as I see fit. Therefore I have open availability and can accommodate any pet care schedule. I have lived in both a rural environment as well as a city environment. So I know the difference that presents with pets. Whether to go outside you can let them free roam, or need to put them on a leash and keep a close eye on them, or if they’re indoor pets and need to ensure they don’t get out.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
