About: I have had animals in my house since I was a little kid. Our family currently has a Great Pyrenees, a Shih Tzu, and 3 cats. I've had experience caring for friend's animals while they were on vacation or whenever they needed a walk, food, or some extra love. I have taken dogs to the dog park, as well. I volunteer at an animal shelter in Tinley Park and work with their stray, small, and large dogs. I have taken out some of the shelter dogs for training exercises and behavioral observations. The most recent dog that I trained can sit and stay before I throw his toy. I, also, have worked with the puppies that come in and understand the extra attention needed for them. I will treat your animals with love and care.

“Sydney watched our cat Lacy and I can’t say enough good things about her. Lacy was a rescue and very skittish of people. The photos Sydney sent with her interacting with Lacy were just what we needed to see. Sydney is a calm and friendly Rover employee. We will Definitely request her for our next vacation and will recommend her to our friends. Thank you Sydney!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since the age of 8. Growing up I had bunnies, hamsters, fish, and dogs. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I love the innocence that interacting with animals brings! I currently am available for pet care Monday-Friday, mornings and afternoons. I work from 3-10 and can be very reliable outside of those hours! If it’s reliability and consistency you’re looking for, I can provide that. . I have no problem handling multiple dogs at once on walks/hikes. I love getting out and enjoying fresh air, especially when I have a furry companion!

“Leah was a pleasure to work with. She showed up on time for a meeting before accepting the job and then provided great feedback during the week she provided care. Although she was officially providing drop in visits, she also got the mail and took the garbage/recycling bins to the street. All was well upon our return home and we'd gladly recommend Leah to anyone looking for reliable pet care.”

About: I've had the privilege of caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I've helped my parents train (through training classes and at home), walk, feed, bathe and enrich both of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pups for the last 15 years. I also had the opportunity to take care of my roommate's two gorgeous cats in college. In October 2023, I rescued my own kitty that I care for night and day. When I’m not lounging with Zilla, I like to spend time with my friends and family, try new restaurants with my boyfriend, exercise, and jam out to music in my car. I've done many overnight stays at friends’ and family members’ homes while pet sitting, and I encourage you to browse my testimonials to learn more about how passionate I am about nurturing animals. I have experience with: - puppies/kittens - adult dogs/cats - dogs of all sizes I also work full-time at a marketing agency focused exclusively on the pet industry, so I've learned an immense amount of information about pet health, pet care, pet safety and breed-specific behaviors/characteristics. My current job is remote 4/5 days a week, so I'm able to be present at your home almost whenever you need. I look forward to becoming your local, trusted pet sitter! As mentioned, my current job is remote 4/5 days a week, so I'm able to be present at your home almost whenever you need. Monday evenings and Tuesday's are the only times I'm usually unavailable. Feel free to message me to discuss my availability as needed - I can be flexible! I'm happy to stay overnight at your home to make your pet(s) feel more comfortable. You know your pet best, so I'll make sure to follow the instructions you give me and make the experience as stress-free as I possibly can for your pet(s). I'll make sure your pet is on a leash/harness whenever I take them outside (unless you have a backyard that is fenced in, of course), and will avoid interactions with other animals during walks if you have a reactive pet.

About: I have worked at many pet places such as Petco, Pet Care Plus which is a dog boarding and daycare, as well as animal hospitals, and even puppy stores when I was a teenager. I became a certified veterinary assistant in 2016 at College of DuPage. So, I am aware of how precious an animal's life is especially to their owner's, and will provide nothing less than the best care for their dog. I am extremely interactive and attentive to animals. I get along with most animals I come across and love being able to care for them. Growing up with 5 dogs helped me become a gentle and friendly human being. All different breeds and kinds of dogs I get along with, whether it be a huge great dane ready to run and play or a little chihuahua that wants to snuggle. Whichever case, I am up for the challenge. I would love to make your dog feel as comfortable and at home as if they were in your own!

“When I needed someone to look after my two aggressive Rottweilers while I was out of town, Frank came to the rescue. Despite not having a chance to meet beforehand, Frank agreed to drop in, demonstrating his professionalism and flexibility. From the moment Frank stepped into my home, his professionalism and confidence put me at ease. He provided regular updates, ensuring my Rottweilers were safe and happy. Despite the challenges of handling aggressive breeds, Frank handled them with care and expertise. I'm incredibly grateful for Frank’s dedication, flexibility, and peace of mind he provided. His willingness to go above and beyond, even without a formal introduction, speaks volumes about his commitment to his clients and their pets. I wholeheartedly recommend Frank for anyone in need of reliable and compassionate care for their furry companions.”
