“We have had Kelly for several visits now and she is 100% kitty (and owner) approved! She is prompt, takes great photos and communicates clearly and quickly. I would recommend her to any of my pet owning friends!!”

“We were very pleased with how Lindsey took care of our little fur family while we were out of town. It gave us peace of mind that our pets that had medication to take were handled with care. She was timely and easy to communicate with, and took lots of pics of the gang while we were out. We will definitely be using her services again in the future 😊”

About: Hello! I am a stay at home mom with all three kids soon to be in high school. I've had dogs all my life, from newborn puppies to seniors. I've cared for healthy dogs and those who need a little extra care, including my current fur baby who is 11 years old. My experience includes administration of oral medications, special baths for skin issues, as well as comforting dogs during storms and fireworks. Though I am not a certified trainer, I can help train your pup for basic commands and walking on a leash if you'd like. We love dogs and animals in this house. I've also taken care of parakeets, rabbits, and a tortoise in recent years. There will be no lack of attention, belly rubs, and cuddles here. I will be the sole caretaker of your pup and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon. Being a stay-at-home mom gives me plenty of time during the day for play time, chill time, and lots of potty breaks for your fur baby. I’m also pretty flexible with drop off and pick up times. I have a large 3 sided fenced backyard (fourth side is our seawall) and a sweet senior girl who is 11 yrs old that will keep your dog company. She loves to lounge around the house and yard. I do have crates and beds for small to large dogs if they prefer to sleep in there. There is a pool for the dogs to cool off in or play if they want. If they need, I have a calming wrap and extra dog sweaters/shirts as well. There are plenty of tennis balls, toys, and treats. During the day my house is calm with little noise for those needing to just chill out. Due to my girl's arthritis, we have a large gate blocking the stairs in our house so there is no chance of dogs using them if they have leg/hip issues. I do my best to make things easier for the older fur babies and the rescued ones.
“Hazen is the best. I have two male cats and they fell in love with her. Hazen sat and played with my boys each day she was here, she not only empties the cat boxes she swept up the cat litter that was on the floor. I would definitely use her again.”

“Michelle was amazing! We’ve never used Rover, but we were out of town and didn’t wanna leave our pups too long while we were off doing fun things. We saw Michelle on Rover and she had great reviews. Even though she was working that day, she took the time to come walk the dogs when she had a break. She was amazing.”

“Colin was fantastic and helped us out when we needed a last minute sitter for our dog Oakley. He took great care of him and our minds were at ease knowing Oakley was in good hands while we were away.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, starting with my own Puggle, Zoey. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I truly enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re with me. I cared for my 16-year-old Puggle who had diabetes, so I’m very familiar with administering medications and making sure medical needs are always a top priority. I also have a special place in my heart for dogs with anxiety and take pride in creating a calm, comforting environment where they can feel secure. I’ve also been working in the pet care industry for a while as I pursue my goal of becoming a professional dog groomer, so I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. At home, I have my own 2 year old Chihuahua, who is my little baby. I would love the opportunity to share that same love, patience, and plenty of cuddles with your fur baby. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! My schedule is very flexible at this time. Please contact me so that we can schedule a time to meet your pet care needs. I look forward to getting to know your fur baby in the future! I have a dog friendly home. We have the ability to meet your pet’s various medical needs. Our home is filled with cuddles, love, and treats!
“Rey had a great time with Cheyenne! We loved getting the pictures and updates on each visit. Cheyenne was responsive, attentive, and took great care of our needy girl! She visited Rey at the agreed upon times and made sure she got exercise and pottied on each visit. She made sure Rey had fresh food and water and gave us updates about when she was eating (or not). Thank you so much!”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and care that pets need. I occasionally walk and help care for friends' dogs and have experience with feeding, exercise, playtime, and providing companionship. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I'll care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, drop-in visits, or simply providing companionship, I can adjust my day to meet each pet's needs. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and tidy, including cleaning litter boxes or picking up after dogs during walks. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I provide updates and photos to help owners feel at ease while they're away. Every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their personality and specific needs to ensure they receive the best care possible.
“Jalynn provided excellent care for both of our pups! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire week, providing regular updates and photos, making us feel at ease while we were away. She paid close attention to their needs and followed all of our instructions carefully. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups and would absolutely recommend Jalynn!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
