Highly-rated overnight sitters - Crescent Beach
“Tracy is a wonderful caretaker. This was Rosie’s first time with her. Tracy really focused on my dog, and spent time with her to make sure was happy and having fun. She left me a lot of updates to reassure me throughout the day. I know my dog was well taken care of and had fun at her home.”

“Marina took great care of our fur babies! The home is perfect for small dogs and pets. She was kind and caring, everything our ‘kids’ needed! She sent photos on a regular basis to let us know we didn’t have to worry when we were out of town.”

“Dani is fantastic. Blueberry loves staying at her home, and I feel like she is treated like her child, which makes this mother happy :) I will definitely be bringing my puppers to Dani again and again!”

“As long as Bridget and her family are on this app, I know I can travel at peace knowing my baby is being loved on! Shes a great communicator and very easy going! Hunter jumps out of the car when we drop him off and is WIPED from his fun vacation when we get him home!”

“Amelia is great! This is our first time using Rover and based on her reviews, we went with her. We are so glad we met her! She was amazing with Jojo, he is very hyper (we are working on it), and she was so patient and helpful. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and it shows in her care. We will definitely be using her again!!! Thank you Amelia!”

“She was a great last minute sitter! We traveled to Florida with our dog and he didn’t adjust well to the hotel, so she kept my dog while we went to a concert. She responds quickly, and her family is great! She has a loving dog of her own and the dogs had a great time playing!”

“We were so happy with Checkers care with Justin and Stephanie! Loved getting the pictures and notes from them while we were gone. We plan to use them from now on as our primary dogsitters.”

“Oreo loves Christina. She is absolutely fantastic! She treated our dog, Oreo like family. He was so happy and well-cared for. Oreo is a picky eater but Christina is so patient to him and always makes sure that he will eat his food. We received daily photos and updates which gave us peace of mind while away. Highly recommend!!”

“Our first time with Angel and more than happy with her and how she and her family took care of our little Benny!!! I am so glad to leave him knowing he will be taken care of so well.”

“Thanks for helping us out with Ginger last minute! Always love the photos and she is happy when she sees you! You’ll be my first check next time I need a sitter. Thank you.”

“Melinda was fantastic with our dog! She was great to keep us updated on how he was doing while we were away! Would highly recommend her and we will definitely be using her again.”

“We had been leaving our dog at Pet Paradise, but feel like he wasn’t getting the attention he needed. After our first meeting with Nycole we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She sent several pictures and messages while he was staying with her. We felt as though she really did her best to make him feel loved and cared for. When we picked him up he was not overly excited to see us, which we consider a good thing! We are so happy to have found a safe place for our baby. We highly recommend Nycole.”

“A great place to board your pet. They are such a caring and great family. Everyone seemed to be involved in watching Levi. I was afraid he might not want to come home.”

About: I began dog sitting to make my own money when I was in the fifth grade. The first two dogs I used to sit with after school everyday were two cocker spaniel rescues that began my love and appreciation for rescuing my own pets ❤️. Here at home I have a 9 year old Chiweenie and a senior mini dachshund. I grew up with a Great Dane and used to house sit with two Dobermans, however, I prefer to open my home to small or medium dogs only to keep my babies comfortable 😊. I know how difficult it is to find safe and trusted care for your pet when you need to travel for work or take a vacation, and this is why I decided to open my home to your pets, so that you can have peace of mind that your dog will be treated like family while they are here. Reach out with any questions 😊. I look forward to hosting your baby ❤️ I work in healthcare, which gives me flexible hours and full days off. On days off I am usually home doing schoolwork online. Availability will be restricted to my days off so that I am available to care for your pets needs (playing, frequent bathroom breaks, separation anxiety, etc.) I have a large fenced yard that my dogs and other dogs I have boarded love!! I have a small home that will be available to your dog to free roam, my dogs love to lay on the couches and there are plenty of blankets for the littles that like to burrow 😊. I have experience in crating dogs for the evening but it is not a requirement to stay here.
“Lisa and her loving family were the best we could have hoped for!! Our Marley is a rescue we adopted about 8 months ago; she is almost 4 years old and spent most of her first three years in a crate; had terrible separation anxiety! We were going to be away for over two weeks and could not leave her in a conventional pet care facility where she would be alone at night! Lisa and her family provided the home away from home we needed; without Lisa we could not have enjoyed our vacation! Thank you Lisa and family!!”

Cat caregivers near you - Crescent Beach

About: I am comfortable taking care of cats who need oral medications, seniors with dementia, and cats with special needs. My cat Sophie had Crohn’s disease and dementia so I had to give her daily medication throughout her life.
“This dog sitter is truly amazing! He did a phenomenal job playing with and feeding the dogs, while also providing an abundance of pictures and videos. The genuine care he showed made my dogs feel like they were his own. I highly recommend booking him – he's done an awesome job, and your furry friends will thank you for it!”

“Our kitties are notorious for being shy; we’ve even had cat sitters not see them at all when taking care of them… but that wasn’t the case with Michelle. She showed them so much care and attention that they even started greeting her at the door upon her arrival. We’re grateful for Michelle and she will now be our first call for any of our cat-care needs!”

“Renee was once again awesome. My cat, Juice, is very comfortable with her and she’s gives all the right details when filling out the reports at the end of every visit. Highly recommend!”

About: I've had the job of living with and caring for animals most of my life, including raising seven cats, one of whom was feral and is still happily with me after 13 years. My cats love going on adventures with me- through the forest, on the beach, and even camping by the lake. They trust me deeply, and I believe that trust comes from treating animals with gentle care, respect, and love. I am experienced with giving cats their shots and trimming their nails- no stress or struggle. I've also cared for dogs, including a playful husky and a loving lab. I took them for daily outings, even rides in the golf cart to the dog park, and always used a calm, kind approach to help them feel safe and happy. Every pet has their personality and pace, and I enjoy getting to know them just as they are. I look forward to meeting your pets and giving them the same loving attention I'd give my own.
About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. As a result of my years of experience, I am capable of giving all forms of medication, making meals (dry, canned, homemade, raw, etc), and I have worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I have started this little business because I have seen how much happier pets are when they are cozy at home compared to a boarding facility, especially if they are prone to anxiety when they are away from home. I, myself, own a corgi named Clancy. He is a very happy little boy. I am off from my other job from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday. I have appointments every other Thursday from 11 to 1:30, but aside from that, I'm free. Walking and drop-ins work best for my schedule as they are the most flexible jobs offered here. I will walk your dogs wherever you feel comfortable. If they have a beloved route, I will keep them on it. During drop-ins, I will adhere to any instructions you have. At my place of work, I follow food and care instructions (that always vary) daily.
About: I’ve volunteered several summers in row washing kennels and food bowls playing with the kittens and post them on social media to help get them adopted. I have two dogs of my own and have taken care of multiple animals at once. I can and will gladly work any day and I will care for your furry family as if they are my own. Your furry friends are safe in my care! I take my dog for regular walks and to the groomers I brush him daily and make sure he is comfortable in his harness and leash. I am able to effectively use commands that your dog is used to. And can give tips are effective ways of to teach commands and keeping them safe and happy.

“Adri was attentive and kept us informed at all times of how our furry friends were doing and any goings on at the house while we were out of town. We will definitely have our pets’ new best friend watch them again!!”

About: Ever since I was young, I have felt connected to cats. I have been given the responsibility of caring for family friends cats over the last couple years. I understand the proper way to socialize with cats and I am very accommodating to any need your cat(s) may have.
“We were so lucky to have Gillian as our cat sitter for Black Fury! She took wonderful care of our incredibly shy and skittish boy, and we were amazed at how well he warmed up to her gentle and caring approach. Gillian kept our home tidy, the litter boxes clean, and showed such conscientious attention to every detail. She’s truly a gem, and we’re thrilled to have her as our go-to sitter from now on. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter!”

“I couldn't ask for a better care taker! Derowen watched my two cats for me and she made me feel so at ease with her daily communications about how the cats were doing and what they got up to while I was away. She is also an amazing photographer and took so many photos of the cats that I could enjoy while I was on my trip. She even had to debug some litter robot issues and is very tech savvy as well! My shy cat that I always worry about even started to warm up to her and get busy playing, which always brightens my day to see! Looking forward to booking her again in the future!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Crescent Beach
“Tracy is an exceptional caregiver. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that Tracy took care of for the day recently. Throughout the day, Tracy checked in with me via text, sending pics of my chilled out dog. I knew my dog was comfortable and calm when Tracy sent a pic of her begging for snacks. When I picked up my dog later that afternoon, she was relaxed and sleepy. Tracy is a consummate professional. After I contacted her about day care, we had a meet and greet so my dog could get acquainted with her. Tracy was on time and exhibited kindness and trustworthiness from the get go. She loves dogs and it showed. I hope to use her day care service again because I know my dog will be well taken care of. Compassion, kindness, and trustworthiness are qualities that Tracy possesses in abundance. I highly recommend her.”

“I am so grateful to have found Mariana to take care of my dog Bentley. She is a fantastic, caring and loving person and Bentley had a wonderful, fun, and safe time with Mariana. While I was out on vacation, Mariana took care of Bentley so professional and so sweet. I will leave Bentley again with Mariana without a doubt. Thank you.”

“Kaylen was so sweet with my baby, receptive and understanding of all her unique needs. Her dog was chill with my dog; it was easy and I was able to have a very productive day. Thank you so much, Kaylen!”

“Lovely family who went above and beyond to ensure my fur baby had fresh air and undivided attention. Excellent and prompt communication. Safe and reliable caregivers.”

“Leanna was amazing with my babies. They have never had a babysitter and were both very happy and comfortable in her home. She sent me updates while we were away. Myself and my weens are very satisfied.”

“Katie was wonderful with Bella! She took her on a walk, played with her, made sure she stayed entertained, and even gave her some nap time. I really appreciated the detailed updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while Bella was in her care. Katie is so friendly, personable, and clearly loves what she does. Bella had a great time, and I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Katie’s care. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! 🐾💕”

“Karla is great. Very caring. We felt very comfortable leaving Cora with her. Our dog was happy, involved, and her usual source of entertainment. I think she can't wait to see Karla again and spend a day or two. Thanks Karla. Randy and Lori”
“We had such a great experience! This was a pretty last-minute booking while we were visiting St. Augustine, and she was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with from the start. Clara was well cared for and happy when we picked her up, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were out for the day. Communication was smooth, and we really appreciated her flexibility—especially when we ended up running late due to traffic. She was very understanding and kind about it, which meant a lot. We would absolutely trust her with Clara again and highly recommend her to anyone needing reliable, compassionate care!”

“Nycole was an excellent communicator and is very dog savvy. She was particularly patient with our shy boy Waldo and did not push any boundaries. Her two business partners (dogs) were gracious host and would get along with any dog. We will be using her again for an overnight boarding in the next few weeks.”

“This is by far the most professional dog sitting experience I have ever had! Amazed by Derowen's approach to this work. Not only did she show clear enthusiam for what she does, but she took the effort to make a small report and share a ton of photos from her time with my dog. Not to mention the perfectly clear and rather friendly communication. I am frankly in awe of this experience. I could not recommend her more!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and love them dearly. I watch out for them like they are my own kids. I'm trustworthy and hard-working. I've lived with cats, hamsters, horses, a Golden Retriever, a Dalmatian (with pups!), and several mixed breed and smaller dogs throughout the years; and am looking forward to calling your little BFF a friend of mine too! I am a 42 year old mother of three. My eldest daughter is 22, my son is 17, and my youngest daughter is 1 and a half. I've been doing Rover on the side for several years now, and have met all kinds of pets. I'm always glad to be able to help families out while they're away by taking care of their dear furry friends. Originally from Middle Tennessee, my family and I recently moved to St Augustine, Florida, and are still trying to get established. Love the area very much, and hope to spend the rest of our lives here. I'm currently only doing drop-in visits for dogs as I had fleas brought in a couple of times that were passed onto other dogs. I'm sorry that I can't offer that service anymore, but I don't want to go through that again. I am also glad to keep (or do drop-in visits) for cats, rodents, and birds for a lower rate...also drop-ins for livestock, with the rate depending on the job. Dinosaurs are a little extra ;o) I just had a new baby and am on a leave of absence from my job with Metro Schools. I am available most any time for drop-in visits and walks. I will follow your instructions for their feeding and/or care and take the same precautions for their safety as I would take with my own pets.

“Thanks for helping us out with Ginger last minute! Always love the photos and she is happy when she sees you! You’ll be my first check next time I need a sitter. Thank you.”

“Danielle provided excellent care for Gemma while we were on a ten day trip. From the multiple photos and videos, she sent each day, I could see that Gemma was happy and well cared for, which put my mind at ease. Danielle played games, had enrichment activities, and took Gemma on ‘field trips.’ I highly recommend Danielle and have already booked her for another stay.”

“Lauren was great. Comet adjusted well and had a great time playing with her golden retriever Colton. In fact I don't think he really wanted to leave when I picked him up lol. Thanks again for a great stay.”

“Omg what an incredible find on Rover! Traci was an absolute joy to meet! Friendly, personable and we could tell immediately she would love our dog in our absence. Their home is a one level property with a fenced in back yard. Our labradoodle (Hotah) is not used to having a sliding glass door open that he could go in and out at free will. I know he was in heaven. Traci text me several times with updates on how he was doing along with photos. We felt so comfortable touring around St. Augustine, Florida and leaving him with her. She liked his snuggles as much as he liked hers. I am definitely recommending them as a couple to care for your pet. I will not use anyone else when I am in the area unless I absolutely could not get them. Thank you so much Traci & Alex for opening up your home and your loving arms to care for our furry friends!!”

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life and started professionally pet sitting about 10 years ago when I retired. I have a fenced yard and can also walk your dogs throughout in my neighborhood if it’s under 50 lbs (for safety reasons). I’m 75 and am home during the day to cuddle your furry babies! Most days, I’ll go out to run errands or go to the gym. I like to take a walk in the morning by myself around my neighborhood. I’m at home the rest of the day usually unless I have an appointment. I have a fenced backyard and a screened in porch. I don’t require a crate for your dog or cat as long as they are potty trained.
“I left my "Little girl" for a week with Anouk and she did an excellent job watching her. Anouk took very good care of "Lexi" for me while I was gone. Anouk kept me informed as to how Lexi was doing. She responded right away every time I had a question or concern. Anouk would send me pictures of how Lexi was doing. I am very pleased and would highly recommend Anouk to watch your furry family member.”

I work from home part-time, which means I provide attentive supervision and always have plenty of time to play with your pups throughout the day! Your dog will never be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. I'm available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits. I have a fenced in spacious yard, plenty of space at home to cool down. I have an indoor cat. I can easily crate your dog if needed. For those that love water I set up a kiddy pool in the back yard.
“Danielle was a wonderful dog sitter. She sent us pictures of our 2 labs every day which we really appreciated. She let us know an antic or two as well which if you know Labrador retrievers there is bound to be a playful antic every day. She even told us that she would be willing to babysit our fur babies again, which we are very grateful for! Thank you Danielle!!”
