About: I’ve lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was born, and I’ve been caring for them my entire adult life. In my spare time I am a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, large dogs, small dogs, chill dogs, energetic dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with training techniques and understanding animal body language and cues. I am a teacher by trade, so I am very organized, dependable, and patient. I have a very open summer. There are some camp drop offs and pick ups I need to account for this summer, but outside of that, the days are wide open. At my house I have a dog friendly medium sized dog. I have a six foot fenced yard. I also have the capability to keep pets on different floors or in different areas if they need space or privacy. I know how to be respectful of other people’s homes and am very comfortable adapting to different pets’ needs, especially since volunteering at the shelter.

About: I have been a volunteer at Five Acres Animal Shelter. I walk pups of all kinds while volunteering for the shelter. At the shelter, I have developed the ability to read the pup’s body language. If a dog is uncomfortable (tail down, ears back) with another dog or person, I find a different route or positive distraction for the pup. My goal, as a volunteer, is to make life for those pups as comfortable as possible while they wait for their forever home. My husband and I have three pups of our own, our fur babies, Peanut (11), Charlie (10), and Piper (9). Do you have a pup who would like to run? I am an active runner, and I would be happy to run with your active pup! I would like to be a part-time dog walker because I love dogs, and I believe that an active pup is a healthy pup. Movement is the key to mental and physical health. I prefer to walk dogs one at a time for safety of me and the dog. I prefer to give each pet their own individual attention.

About: Hello! My name is Steven Willard and I love animals. I have always had pets growing up as a child and I've continued to have pets into adulthood. I enjoy learning and understanding all different types of animals from dogs, cats, reptiles, and small pets. My wife and I have 3 dogs, 2 old beagles (Ollie 12 years old and Henry 11 years old) and a 6 year old aussie/beagle mix named Kaylee. We walk them around our neighborhood on a regular basis and play with them in our yard. We have a 4 year old Siamese cat named Blitz and we recently had a bearded dragon who passed away. Having older dogs, I have had a lot of practice with giving dogs medication mostly in pill form. I've also had experience with puppies and kittens. I have a flexible schedule and will keep my calendar up to date with availability. I have a lot of weekend availability for walking and drop-ins. I am happy to walk and play with your pets. I have experience administering medication to older dogs and cats. I have a high attention to detail regarding my surroundings as I have runners that like to try and get out when the doors are open.
