About: I'm newly retired and love dogs of all stripes. I spend much of my time walking the neighborhoods in west county and would love some company from 4-legged friends. I'm usually available for dog walking or check-ins from Monday to Friday from 6am to 5pm. We travel in the shoulder seasons so I'm pretty open in the summer. We have a large yard and a nearby wooded park that we walk to. No fence so dogs will be on a leash most of the time. We have a 12 year old golden retriever named Lucy.

About: We didn't have a cat growing up but I was always well beloved by friends' cats and neighborhood strays. In 2021, I adopted my first cat — Sapphira, a senior surrender — as a cure for college quarantine loneliness. Over the next four years, I nursed her thru diabetes, organ failure, partial spinal paralysis, UTIs, and incontinence before she passed August 2025. I'd do it all over again if I could. About: I love dogs with all my heart. I am a new dog owner, but I am no stranger to dog care as I took care of my friends dog for a night and on other occasions. I have around 9 months of experience of taking care of my puppy. I have trained him in some of the basic commands and sometimes I love to make doggy treats for him.
