About: I'm newly retired and love dogs of all stripes. I spend much of my time walking the neighborhoods in west county and would love some company from 4-legged friends. I'm usually available for dog walking or check-ins from Monday to Friday from 6am to 5pm. We travel in the shoulder seasons so I'm pretty open in the summer. We have a large yard and a nearby wooded park that we walk to. No fence so dogs will be on a leash most of the time. We have a 12 year old golden retriever named Lucy.

I have worked with many rescues in LA and PHX and continue to have clients back in those cities I still service (my clients love me). About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was young. When I got older and moved out on my own, I ended up getting cats too. I currently have 2 cats that live with me, one was adopted and one was a stray kitten that I found in a thunderstorm. I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital doing tasks like feeding animals, administering medication, cleaning up after them, bathing them, etc. I have also worked at a couple of dog boarding shops. So, I can handle a lot of animals at once. I’m quick on my feet, especially when animals are getting too rough with one another. This happened a lot at the doggy daycares I worked at. But I know how to break up dog fights without hurting the pups in the process because of my experience there. I have been pet sitting independently for about 5 years, and I prefer it to being in a shop. I can have a closer relationship with the pets I watch this way. I’ve raised my own dogs and cats, so I know how to take care of them. I also know the certain behaviors to look out for, whether an animal is sick or not acting normal in general. I’m very attentive and your animals will be very safe in my hands. My passion is taking care of animals. I do this full time and I love every minute of it. My schedule is always open for your pets! I live on about 7 acres of property. The yard is not fenced, but I can take pups out on a leash. I do have 2 cats with me full-time but they’re very friendly. I also live in a split house, so I could separate them if needed. I’m also very used to going to people’s houses to watch their pets. I work best when there is a written list of what you need done. About: I grew up with cats and dogs and have years of real life experience understanding their needs. I've cared for high energy dogs, shy dogs, large breeds, small breeds, and cats with unique personalities. I'm familiar with basic training, leash manners, and helping pets feel comfortable during new routines. I pay close attention to each pet's body language and make sure they feel secure. As of right now I am a full time pet sitter and am now accepting bookings for the fall season! I am happy to answer any questions you may have. In your home, I always follow your pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe. I stick to your feeding schedule, potty breaks, walk times, etc. I give plenty of cuddles, playtime, and positive attention, and I always make sure your home stays clean and tidy. I send updates and photos during every visit so you know exactly how your pet is doing.
