About: I have three cats and three dogs of my own so I am very accustomed to chaos! I've had pets my whole life and treat mine like my own children, and yours will always be treated like my own! I currently am a stay at home wife so I have a lot of availability to help! Weekdays or weekends would be okay. My schedule is extremely flexible! My pets are treated like our children. I would treat yours no differently! My three dogs are on an eating schedule and get regular walks so I have no problem sticking to your schedule for your babies.
About: I've loved animals all of my life! I believe my energy attracts them to me. I love the purity and selflessness of their actions. They truly show love UNCONDITIONAL. I work full-time, but after work, I'll be able to take your fur baby(s) out to get some fresh air and exercise!! Along with getting my own step count in. I would be be able to care for your fur baby in the comfort of their own home. Being in their own space will provide less stress and comfort to them while you're away.

About: I have taken care of small and large animals since I was very young. I currently work as a vet tech for my full time job, but love to look after people’s fuzzy family members in my free time! I am most free on the weekends or evenings for walks/drop ins/etc, but if you need a service outside of this time, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own home, so I enjoy being able to do visits vs care in my home. I think this goes beyond their comfort while resting in their home but also allowing them to go on walk routes they are familiar with.

About: Growing up we had 3 cats and we also fostered many young pets and I would take care of our neighbors pets. The apartment I currently live in doesn't allow pets, so I would love to care for others pets! I am currently a student at LSU, but I have time in between classes and i'm more free in the evening. I'm pretty flexible especially on weekends. I will follow all instructions necessary for your home! I don't currently offer my home as an option, so I will come to your home to pet sit.

About: My friends and family consistently tell me that my dog is treated with royalty. I take pride in taking care of my dog. He will always be my one and only fur baby. He is my best friend and I will always give him the best lifestyle he deserves as an elderly dog. I am an Independent Contractor. I set my own hours and my schedule is flexible. I am available during the daytime 7 days a week. I have a fenced on yard. My dog has a doggie door so he can come inside the house and can go outside at his own leisure. About: My pack of dogs range from about 30 pounds to over 150, and several of them are high-energy breeds who need serious daily exercise. Whether your dog is a couch potato, a big gentle giant, or a ball of nonstop energy, I know how to keep them happy, tired, and well cared for. I'm comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and I know that a dog who doesn't get enough exercise can turn into a very create (and destructive) dog. Active pups get the long walks (or runs), play sessions, and mental stimulation they need, and I plan outings around Louisiana's heat, with early mornings and evenings in the summer, so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What your pup can expect: Daily walks and vigorous playtime, tailed to your dog's energy level. Feeding and medication on your schedule. Photo and video updates so you can see the fun. A calm, dog savvy home or drop-ins. Patience, consistency, and a lot of love. I am able to tend to your pets before I go to work, during my break, and after I get off of work. I also have full availability on weekends. I care for pets in my home based on the differing needs of each pet. I previously had a dog that had diabetes and required insulin twice a day, as well as another dog I found that had severe heart worms and required daily medication, so I am comfortable giving your pets their needed medication.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
