Personalized care for your dog or cat - Crescent

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Crescent
“She was very patient with my cat. He is usually very friendly, but he was understandably a little frightened having been put into a new environment with a stranger. She kept open communication with me the whole time I was out of town and actively tried to become friends with him. By the end of my trip he was his usual self and being friendly with her. I would definitely let Oliver stay with Olivia again.”

“Christie was very responsive. She sent daily pics of my pup. This was my first time leaving my pup and she made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use her again in the future.”

“Hannah was great and our pup had so much fun! She was very responsive and kept us updated on how he was doing. I loved that she sent us pictures and videos too. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“Nicolette kept my baby Zeus for an extended period of time (nearly 3 weeks) while I dealt with a family emergency out of state. I had not a care or worry in the world while he was there, knowing that he was in excellent care. She and her family love on him like he is their own. Highly recommend!”

“Jason was super nice to us and awesome with our Border collie! Kept her super active and played with her a lot! Our dog is definitely looking forward to staying with him again!”

“She was amazing! She sent me pictures of her and my fur baby and my Diamond started getting attached to her! She kept me updated the entire 4 days and I will definitely be returning if I need care again. I was nervous because it was my JRT's 1st time boarding but she made it super fun and relaxing for her! Thank you so much”

“Fallyn, Thank you so much for taking care of baby! He throughly enjoyed himself and even cried a little once we pulled off! That was a great sign. All the pictures and updates were amazing as well! You are God sent🙏🏾😊✨”

“Our dog Marley tends to be anxious in new situations since she was a shelter dog, but seemed comfortable in Amanda’s home the moment we walked in for drop off. It made me feel much better about leaving our newly adopted girl for over a week! She sent updates and pictures often while we were on vacation. Would not hesitate to use Amanda again for future dog sitting and will recommend her to my friends!”

“Nicholas was great with my cat Mika. This was my first time leaving her with someone for a long period of time, and it couldn’t have been with anyone better. Nicholas was very timely with his responses and he took great care of her. Will be coming back in the future, thank you!!”

“Keith was awesome! Only second time leaving our 3 YO Jack Russell “Barney” with anyone, first time with a stranger. He has always slept with us ( I know I Know) and I wasn’t sure how that would work out. Turns out Barney enjoyed sleeping with Keith’s pack and made it through the night. We will definitely board with Keith again.”

“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Bailey was great with Oliver. She answered all my questions during the meet & greet and she provided updates for him as well as photos. I was very happy to not worry about him while I was away.”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

“Ashley was great. This was the first time having a sitter for my 3 dogs. She had a total of 5 visits over 3 days. Ashley was on time & quick to respond with pictures of all 3 dogs plus 2 cats. I will book her again.”

“Gracie came highly recommended to us and she was excellent! She treated our cats well, made them feel safe and cared for while we were away. Great communication. We will definitely be asking for her help again”

“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She asked a bunch of questions early on to understand my dog's needs and kept me informed of concerns that came up during the drop-in visits. I highly recommend her as a sitter, especially if you have a large breed dog. I will definitely schedule her for future drop-ins.”

About: While I didn’t grow up with cats until I was older since I was scared of them, I think because of that I was able to really form a connection with cats for who they are haha. I had two female family cats and I loved them very much, they were super self dependent but I was always super grateful when they wanted cuddles. At my part time job they board cats for over night or just for the day so I have experience in regular feeding, medicating, playing and changing litter boxes. I love when a kitty plays with a flirt pole, i’ll play all day until my arm falls off if I could. I also love some good kitty snuggles so if your cat wants some I will be more then happy!
About: I have experience with cats, reptiles, and dogs. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and their care, as well as skittish dogs, and normal pups. As I am a small person, I cannot walk untrained giant breed dogs unfortunately, but I can more than happily dog sit and do drop in care! I love animals of all types and find great joy in caring for animals. I've worked with senior dogs, new born puppies, older puppies, rescue dogs, neglected dogs, and longtime family pups. I have experience with all sorts of cats, from skittish to cuddle bugs. I have some experience with training and find joy in helping dogs reach their best potential and learn new tricks. I've been caring for animals since I was at least 13 years old and intend to long into my future.

“Lauren was amazing with Woody!!! She kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout the day, which showed Woody having a fabulous day. About: I’ve had and loved dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs (and a cat). My girl is a perfect playmate to all, and my guy is a senior who’s living his best life laying on the couch. I (and my fiancè) have taken in dogs/cats off the street, fostered, and rescued/adopted, so I have years of experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and demeanors. I’m a teacher who will be off all summer, so I can be with your pet as much as needed! I’d love to provide some stand-in TLC to your pet while they eagerly await your return :) I have a large backyard, plenty of toys, and a lot of love to give to your pet! I’m a middle school teacher who’s currently off for spring break and will be off for the whole summer, so I’m freely available to meet you and your pet’s needs. I can accommodate early mornings, mid-day check-ins, late nights; whatever you need! I have a spacious house with a large fenced yard. I have two dogs, one of which will lay around 24/7, while the other is sweet, playful, energetic and always looking for friends to play with! If needed, I can kennel your pet or give them the spare room if they need a quiet place to relax alone. If caring for your pet in your house, you can be assured that I will be thorough in providing them with some TLC while you’re away! I love learning about the little quirks that pets can have and will be attentive and detailed in my care for them to make sure they always feel at ease.
About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.

About: Hi! I can’t wait to be introduced to your furry friends. After many years of looking after my family and friends’ pets, I’m well prepared for various types of pet personalities. I began pet sitting on Rover in 2021, but took a break after moving and life events. I’m thrilled to get started again! I have two pets of my own: a cat named Kitty and a mini dachshund named Benji. I take pride in my love for animals and I’m excited to begin working with you to provide your furry friends a safe and loving human to look after them😊 I’m currently working remotely as an Actuarial Analyst. I can provide thorough care throughout the day at my home, or visit/drop-in to your home before work, after work, or on my lunch break. I also would be able to work from your home if that works best for you! :) I’m able to adapt to any routine requested. At my home, I have a fenced in yard that my dog, Benji, loves to sunbathe in throughout the day! I do have a friendly cat, but he’s very shy and will stay in one of his numerous hiding spots or his gated, out-of-reach area when strangers come over. At your home, I will be very respectful of your area and remain focused on your furry friends’ needs.
“Lindley took care of our choc lab Khaleesi who suffers from separation anxiety and within minutes of being pampered she settle down. I received pictures which helped to reduce my stress level as well. LOL. Khaleesi gets an apple around noon and Lindley sent me a picture of her face when she saw the apple slices in the bowl…happy smile. This was a one time occurrence since we were just in town for the day and needed a safe and not so busy doggie daycare service and Lindley provided that which we are grateful.”

“I want to thank u so much jackpot has def learned good manners at your house he listens he is calmer just all around better behaved dog ! You're a blessing in so many ways ! 🐾💕”
“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

“JC was great! Very organized and communicative. We loved getting all the updates throughout the day and had no doubt that our pet was being well cared for. Will definitely book again if we come to Baton Rouge again!”

About: I pride myself in doing everything to the best of my abilities and taking care of your babies will be no different! I have over a decade of experience, you can be at ease knowing your animals will be safe and loved while you’re away. I am 100% free during the week, your babies would get lots of snuggles and play time. I am very friendly, flexible and reliable. I think we’d be the purrrfect match 😆🐱 I am currently focusing on providing pet care full time, my schedule is open Monday-Sunday. I live, breathe, and dream about the perfect pet sitting experience for my clients. I take care of my fur babies the same way a person would their normal babies. Every morning we go for a walk and eat some breakfast before I head in. A weekly dog trip is always in the works for my two energetic fur balls
About: We live in a 2nd-floor apartment that has 12 stairs leading up to it. I have had dogs in the home since the age of 2 and been a primary caregiver for my last 3 family dogs. My partner and I both love all dogs, especially larger breeds. We are experienced in basic leash and command training, basic medication administration, and house training. We firmly believe you can never have too many dogs around and would love to host your furry family member while you are away! We have a cat named Mitties who keeps to herself and tolerates her brother Lincoln as well as his friends who visit. Lincoln has never met another pup he didn't like. He loves to play and wrestle but also knows when it's time to give his friends space. He has regular interaction with dogs of all sizes and adjusts his play style accordingly. We are available for most weekends, and most weekdays from a week-to-week basis. Isaac works from home and is almost always around during the day to supervise! Dogs can be crated if needed over night or while we are away. Our dog Lincoln does not use a crate, however, so it is not necessary if your dog doesn’t usually use one either.

“Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.”

About: I have three cats and three dogs of my own so I am very accustomed to chaos! I've had pets my whole life and treat mine like my own children, and yours will always be treated like my own! I currently am a stay at home wife so I have a lot of availability to help! Weekdays or weekends would be okay. My schedule is extremely flexible! My pets are treated like our children. I would treat yours no differently! My three dogs are on an eating schedule and get regular walks so I have no problem sticking to your schedule for your babies.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’ve also fostered through Companion Animal Alliance, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and temperaments. From shy rescues to energetic pups, I know how to make every dog feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m also a dedicated graduate student studying Speech Pathology, which means I’m naturally patient, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication. My schedule allows me to be reliable and consistent, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe, loving, and individualized experience for every pet. Your furry family member will always get my full attention, compassion, and care. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I make time for it every day. As a grad student, my schedule is flexible enough for walks, drop-ins, and consistent check-ins and boardings. I plan my day around a pet’s normal routine so they always feel comfortable and cared for. My experience fostering has taught me how to balance school and pet needs without ever feeling rushed. Your pet will always get steady attention, patience, and plenty of love. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, meds, and favorite activities—so their pet feels secure in their own space. I keep everything clean, calm, and stress-free, just like you’d expect if you were home. If I’m caring for a pet in my own space, I make sure they have a safe, cozy area, plenty of attention, and a good balance of play and rest. No matter where I’m caring for them, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

“Jada has walked and kept Duke on multiple occasions. I never have to worry when he is with her as I know she will take great care of him. He also loves to play with her dog, Balto!”

About: I have worked at a part-time doggy daycare and boarding facility for over a year now, gaining tons of experience with all kinds of different pups- low energy/high energy- super outgoing/anxious and much more since every fur baby is different from the next. I have taken many animal related college courses that have helped me gain much knowledge about dogs which is just as important as the hands on experience. I also have shadowed veterinarians at animal hospital clinics that’s going towards my vet assistant certification. And last but not least I have had pups of my own, 2 great danes growing up and now my own shelter pup😊. She’s my best friend/daughter/favorite person, I take pride that I take care of every pup the same way I’d want someone taking care of mine. I’m currently working part time but I am available before 12 pm on Sunday's, after 1 pm Monday through Wednesday and completely free Thursday through Saturday. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, and any special instructions. With my hands-on experience working with dogs, animal care education, and veterinary shadowing experience, I am prepared to provide attentive and responsible care for pets of all ages. About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.
About: I’m comfortable helping out with your Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs… possibly other animals, just shoot me a message! My family, friends and neighbors have trusted me for all of their pet care needs and hopefully you will too! My hours are flexible at the moment. I’m available for pop in visits for feeding, walks and/or outdoor play time too. I’m super patient and don’t mind spending a little extra time with the needier fur babies. “Shania was so communicative when my dog was being challenging. She even went the extra mile and was willing to come over and meet my dog later that day when I was home so Bonnie could warm up to her”

About: I’ve lived in a household with cats and dogs ever since I was born. I then started caring for other peoples animals at the age of 10 and practically was running a business for it by 14! Now, I’m 21 and my love of caring for animals has only grown. I love all pets and want to ensure they have the appropriate care while you’re gone at work or vacation!! You shouldn’t have to worry about your sweet sidekicks while you’re away. I am currently an online student at LSU and I work a full time flexible job. I also now have my own pup as I couldn’t resist! However, I have plenty of flexibility and time to love on your babies as much as you want me to! I can care for them night and day and will always be happy to do so. I love to be active, so therefore I can make sure that your pups get the right amount of exercise daily. I know how to give a good bath to ensure a fresh smelling pet at all times. I know how to throw a tennis ball to keep your dog running for hours! However, I also know how to love and snuggle up and just be a couch potato with both cats and dogs! I also have had experience of having to take a dog to the vet and emergency vet while her owners were away without cell service and she needed an emergency surgery. Thankfully, she is still alive and happier than ever with the most grateful parents! I will always be willing to go above and beyond for your bundles of joy as I would hope a sitter would do for my own.
About: Hi everyone! I recently moved from Maryland to Louisiana, I have been pet sitting since I was 15 years old. I volunteered at Queen Anne’s county animal services taking and have also worked at Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat, Canine Country Club, and a doggie daycare called Playful Pack. I can feed dogs, administer their medication, bathe dogs, take dogs outside to play and use the bathroom, and more! I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours. My availability is available all day any day. I can pet sit any time and any day of the week. I can do dog walking, pet sittings, overnights, and boarding. Just let me know what you need! I can follow directions very easily and give dogs frequent potty breaks and walks. I will also be giving your pets attention the entire time. I will do anything you need me to from feeding to medicine and even baths if needed.
About: I’ve raised my dog, Tino, since I’ve been 10! I’ve gone through all the stages from a pup to now a senior dog. I am also currently studying to become a DVM so I love all furry friends! :) I have 100+ volunteer hours at animal shelters and I currently work part time at a pet boarding facility. I’m free mostly every weekday and anytime on the weekends. I usually take pets out 3-4 times a day for potty breaks. I love every pup size and I’ll enjoy snuggling with them or running around with them! I have a fenced backyard with a super chill senior dog that would love to meet other animals. We have a very calm home so no loud noises or disruptions. I also have a crate for small to medium dogs if needed.
“We absolutely love Alyssa! She is so sweet and attentive to my dog. He is always excited to go on walks with her. She is also great about sending pictures and daily updates! She is the best!”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

About: I have worked as a vet assistant at an animal hospital for 3.5 years with plans to apply to the LSU vet school. I have also owned and cared for animals my whole life, including farm experience. I am currently working part time, so I don’t have many weekly hours. I also live with my fiancée who is part time as well in a two bedroom townhouse. I have an unfenced yard with plenty of grass and walking area. I have 2 very friendly medium sized dogs to keep your dogs company. I have a large kennel if needed. I am also very active and can run and walk long distance for active dogs.
“Wonderful as always...Chelsy is so attentive to our baby and keeps us informed with pics and texts. Really appreciate how much she cares about Sweet pea and treats her as if she is her own.”

“This family is absolutely amazing! They took such great care of my two dogs and it was a last minute booking! Atlas and Kira had such a good doggy vacation, I highly recommend booking with Kelbie!”

“Savannah was very loving toward my girls. My dogs came home, healthy, and happy and we got regular updates from Savannah during their time with her. Will definitely rebook! She was even willing to work with us when our vacation plans changed, which was a huge relief!”

“Hannah was great and sent lots of pictures of Keira! My only issue was not finding out about another dog being in the home until after dropping mine off which she did apologize for.”

“Mark was fantastic! I was in town visiting family that are afraid of dogs. Mark watched Cloud and provided pics of walks, which my pup enjoyed greatly. Knowing Mark will care for Cloud will make it so much easier for me to visit family in the future.”
