About: I am a design student at LSU. Beyond my 7 years of experience in pet care, I grew up with and took care of 4 dogs, 2 cats, fish, and a lizard (his name is peanut). About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

About: My pack of dogs range from about 30 pounds to over 150, and several of them are high-energy breeds who need serious daily exercise. Whether your dog is a couch potato, a big gentle giant, or a ball of nonstop energy, I know how to keep them happy, tired, and well cared for. Living with dogs of every size and energy level has taught me how to read body language, manage different personalities, and meet each dog's individual needs. I'm comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and I know that a dog who doesn't get enough exercise can turn into a very create (and destructive) dog. Active pups get the long walks (or runs), play sessions, and mental stimulation they need, and I plan outings around Louisiana's heat, with early mornings and evenings in the summer, so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What your pup can expect: Daily walks and vigorous playtime, tailed to your dog's energy level. Feeding and medication on your schedule. Photo and video updates so you can see the fun. A calm, dog savvy home or drop-ins. Patience, consistency, and a lot of love. I am able to tend to your pets before I go to work, during my break, and after I get off of work. I also have full availability on weekends. I care for pets in my home based on the differing needs of each pet. I previously had a dog that had diabetes and required insulin twice a day, as well as another dog I found that had severe heart worms and required daily medication, so I am comfortable giving your pets their needed medication.

About: I have loved animals ever since I was in elementary. I have had 5 Dogs, from a German Shepard to a little Yorkie Poodle mix. Currently I have 2 Guinea Pigs and 2 Leopard Geckos and a beautiful cat named karma. Family members and friends have asked me to look after their fur babies for days and entrusted them with me. I give my all when watching the fur babies and treat it as if they were mine. :) I am currently a full time college student, I am studying marine biology and plan to use that degree to go to a veterinarian School. When first entering an environment, it's important to take a mental note of any hazards that could be a danger to the animal. Any hazards being, loose metal wires they could chew, or foods that may be dangerous to them. Examining a new environment is also important. Always making sure to not have any allowed guests inside the customers house is very important part of great service as well, to instill that trust that the client has put in you for their furry loved one!
