“Christian did a super job…reliable, communicative and a fan of our dogs!”

About: Hello! Growing up with dogs, cows, cats, and horses, animals have been a special part of my life that I hope to share with you! Now we have a few funny chickens with big personalities and a Doodle. I walk the dog everyday without headphones. Please let me know if that is also your preference. Being a doodle owner is new to me so over the past couple of years, I’ve enjoyed reading trainers’ books and watched tv shows about dogs as well. If you let know, I can bring your trash bin up from the street, scoot your deliveries out of sight, and water flowers while I’m visiting with your pet. Thanks for taking a look! I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m a homeschooling mom who dreams of taking the family to Rome when the oldest is a senior. Sharing my time with your pet will add to our savings jar and bring me time outside and fun! I am available for a break to walk or check on your pet most of the time. Wednesdays in the afternoon, we are scheduled for an activity. Occasionally we will have an activity booked in advance but most of the time, my schedule can fluctuate around times and days that are convenient for you. At home, we have a fenced in yard where our dog watches over the chickens while they spend some time outside the coop. I am an expert at watching for hawks, so, Little Dogs, fear not! Our animals are well cared for, plenty of access to water, and I even make the dog’s food. Our pet is wheat free. Please let me know if your dog has allergies also.

“Jacob was flexible and friendly with our travel needs, with a kind personality with our pup as well. Highly recommended - will book again when back in Louisville.”

“Tabitha made for an excellent first time experience with Rover! She was exactly what we wanted for our puppy while we were away on vacation. She was timely, professional, and seemed to really enjoy what she does which makes a difference. Thank you so much for entertaining our wild child while we were gone!”

“Sofiya did a great job on both days that she came to walk our dog. We were able to request her serves at the last minute and she sent us updates on how our dog did during her walk!”

“Thank you!”

“Genaveve was great with my pup! She did everything that I had requested - plus more than expected, and sent me plenty of photos. Genaveve was very easy to work with and I really appreciate her taking such good care of Oscar!”

“Sarah was a super sitter/walker for my little Biscuit. He loved playing with her and her daughters. She informed me about every step they took with messages and pictures. I highly recommend her and I will definitely book her again soon.”

About: I’ve got experience with pups of all personalities! From chihuahuas to pitties, I love them all. I have seen every episode of de Dog Whisperer, however I’m aware it doesn’t necessarily make me an expert in animal psychology. I also do weddings and parties, if you have one of those coming up. I have loads of experience with cats, as well. I’ve cared for diabetic cats and am very comfortable with injections. My only pet right now is my cat, Bert, who has special needs. All of his needs are met happily by me! If any of this sounds good to you, please give me a ring. A history of the Swanson Family pets: Dagney (Husky mix), Brit (Britney spaniel), Gus (Boston Terrier), Joey & Franklin (cavalier King Charles spaniel), Moeby (Yorkie/Maltese), Henry (chihuahua/jack Russell), Gracie (catahoula leopard hound/pitbull), and Norman (Irish setter/retriever/chow). I also had a bird, Harpo, a hamster, Paul Daniel, and a cat, Lucy. I'm a musician and private teacher by trade. Right now I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to take on more pet care. My main priority is to maintain the safety of your pet. I'm happy to follow any routines of your household to maintain the comfortability of your pet.

“Janet came to the rescue on a very late request! Many TY's!!”

About: Hi, I'm Eve! I can provide one-time care, interim pet sitting, or provide regular pet sitting. I am a part-time sitter, and I have a full-time job as a teacher during the day. I offer personalized care for pets in the comfort of your own home, regardless of type of pet, breed, age, or size. I can also practice training with your pets, take them to the groomer, or take them to the dog park, if needed. My personal pet care experience comes from owning my very own Black Lab mix, Banjo, for ten years. I raised my boy from puppy to senior. He was an active breed, so I am more than comfortable with providing care for younger or more active dogs! I took Banjo on daily walks and runs, took him to the dog park and local dog bar, and spent most of my days making sure he felt stimulated and entertained during the day. Your pets will receive that same level of care. My professional experience includes caring for pets of family and friends, pets here on Rover, and I have a background in teaching and childcare. These valuable experiences have provided me the foundation to build trust with pet parents and their homes. My expertise comes from my ability to connect and bond with each dog that I find in my care. My approach to pet care is providing warm, sensitive, and individualized care for dogs - with specialty in caring for Senior dogs. However, I will keep your dogs healthy and entertained, no matter what age of they are! I will happily care for your pets as if they are my own, and cater to each of their personalties. I let them guide me to what makes them the most happy! During my visits and stays I keep all of my pet parents well-informed on how their pet is doing. I will provide you with pictures and detailed updates during my time with your pets and leave your home in clean and neat condition. Your pets will be left feeling relaxed and content! I always like to do a meet and greet beforehand, to get to know you and your pets and make sure we are the best fit! In addition, I am willing to drive your pet to the groomer, give them baths, or take them to your local dog park/dog bar as add-on services. Please don’t hesitate to ask if your pet needs those services as I am more than happy to do so! I am a part-time pet sitter and I have a full-time job. However, I will provide time, devotion, and care to your pets in their familiar home space. When I stay in your home, your dog's safety and your home's security is my top priority. You will have peace of mind that your pet has gained a new best friend to spend time with, and that your home is in professional hands.

“Communication has been great! Thanks, Fatima!”

About: I am a true dog mom! I have five pets right now, all who are well taken care of and some may goes as far to call them spoiled. They’ve got their own room and everything. We enjoy long walks daily, that always includes bits of training due to them being reactive. I am currently between jobs, as I have just graduated from UofL. I would love to play with your pups while I am job hunting! I like to give my pets, and others, my full attention. I am patient and encouraging, and love to play however your pet may prefer!

“Alycia is the best!! She was very accommodating to the schedule when I needed her and she took the best care of my pup. I loved getting pictures and updates.. I could tell my dog loved spending time with her. She went above and beyond giving him extra cuddles and play time 😊 can’t recommend enough!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for over half my life now! I truly love cats and always volunteer to take care of my friend’s cats when they go out of town. I’m also a volunteer with Kentucky Humane Society and Purrfect Day Cat Cafe. I work as a receptionist at a vet’s office and I’m familiar with extensive medical care, including ER Animal hospitals in the area. I can pretty much accommodate any schedule as long as I know ahead of time when you will need me to care for your cat or dog I will not be caring for pets in my home because our pets do not love other animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to come to you though.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. Families and friends have trusted me over and over to feed, walk, and care for their pets. Currently completing my undergraduate degree online at the U of L, which provides me with a very flexible schedule. Available for pet sitting services weekdays and weekends. I offer overnight pet sitting services in your home. While I'm unable to provide overnight boarding at my location, I'm happy to stay at your home to care for your pets in their familiar environment.

Rebecca Y.Star Sitter
“Our Dog WalkerRebecca has been an absolute blessing for our furry family member, and I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion she provides. From the very first interaction, it was evident that Rebecca's love for animals goes beyond just a job – it's a genuine passion. One of the things that immediately stood out about Rebecca is her attentiveness to our dog's individual needs. She took the time to get to know him, his quirks, and his preferences, ensuring that every walk was tailored to his specific requirements. It's reassuring to know that our dog is not just getting exercise but also personalized attention and care. Reliability is another hallmark of Rebecca's service. She has never once missed a scheduled walk and always arrives promptly with a warm smile. Even on short notice, Rebecca has been accommodating and flexible, which has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. What truly sets Rebecca apart, however, is her genuine connection with animals. It's not just about walking our dog; it's about forming a bond with him. She treats him as if he were her own, showering him with affection and making sure he feels safe and happy in her care. Moreover, Rebecca's communication skills are exemplary. We receive detailed updates after each walk, including photos and notes about their adventures together. It's comforting to know what our dog has been up to and gives us peace of mind while we're away. In conclusion, Rebecca is not just a dog walker; she's a trusted member of our extended family. Her passion for animals, reliability, and exceptional care make her stand out in her field. I wholeheartedly recommend Rebecca to anyone in need of a dog walker who treats their furry companions with the love and respect they deserve.”

Allison C.
“Allie recently watched our family dog while I was away on vacation and it was a great experience for both. She made the dog feel at ease while we were away with daily walks and with our permission, a couple long walks at a nearby park. Upon our return, both our little dog and Allie were sad to part ways. Allie was ready to keep her another week if we would have let her. She is great with pets (dogs and cats) in showing plenty of love and affection and if needed, a reasonable amount of discipline to ensure no bad habits are gained. I recommend her with no hesitation.”

Cecelia S.
“Cecelia was my main cat sitter for two years, and she was phenomenal! She seemed to nurture a relationship with my cat, Lainey. And Lainey really enjoyed their time together. Cecelia sent daily pictures and sometime videos to show that Lainey was having a good time and was well taken care of, which I really appreciated. If we still lived in the same area, I would have continued with Cecelia as Lainey's caretaker. She was so kind and loving with her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur baby.”

“Kennedy is the most caring and responsible pet owner that i know! Her pets have always been her first priority and they will always be more than taken care of! If i needed anyone to care after my pets, and make sure they’re more than comfortable/safe it would be kennedy!”

Nicole G.
“Nicole is a godsent. Not only do my kitties love her (and they are not easy to win over!) but she goes so far above and beyond to make sure they are not only taken care of but happy and thriving too! They are normally very hard to please but Nicole's food recommendations, sound advice and toys she has brought them have truly made them much healthier and happier. I couldn't imagine a more caring person that I would trust with my pets. With her I can sleep comfortably when I'm away traveling, knowing that they are getting the best love and care possible.”

Sydney C.
“Sydney has been caring for our family pets for five years, starting when our golden doodle was just a puppy. She handles our diverse group beautifully - from our energetic golden doodle to our tiny chihuahua, plus our two cats. Sydney has provided overnight stays, daily walks, feeding, and even medication administration when needed. She's reliable, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. Our pets are always happy and well-cared for when we return, and it's obvious they genuinely love her too. She sends updates and photos if requested while we're away, giving us complete peace of mind. After five years of consistent, excellent service, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sydney to other pet owners looking for someone who truly cares about their furry family members.”

Carolyne was absolutely wonderful. We did not worry for a single moment that our dig Charley was being very well taken care of. Carolyne sent lots of pictures and newsy updates on how Charley was doing. we would feel lucky to have Carolyne come watch Charley again.
