About: I love pets! If I had a farm I would fill it with every pet possible. My dream one day. For now I have two small friendly dogs and 6 chickens in their coop outside. I can make myself available for long stay boarding, I work from home part time. And have plenty of time to share with those that love unconditionally. I have a big home with a big yard. About: Hi, my name is Laurie!! I am a northern California native recently relocated from Pleasanton to Rio Vista and I live in a lovely gated community. I’ve recently retired from the corporate world as an Executive Asst. Now I have the time and the ability to care for your pet while you are out of town or on vacation( overnight or an extended period of time). Over the years I’ve house and pet-sit for clients, friends and family. I love dogs and have a small 14 pound, 3 year old Norwich terrier. She is spayed, very gentle and loves people and other dogs! She loves to play and would be excited to have your little darling over for a sleepover. My dog is my family and yours will be treated the same! I know that your pet is precious to you and I will make sure they are safe, secure and happy while they are in my home. I believe in lots of exercise and play time, we typically walk 2 times a day including a visit to our private neighborhood dog park. Well behaved pets are allowed on the furniture and yours is allowed if that is how they live at home. Please bring their personal pet bed or crate that will be familiar to them and they will have a designated sleeping spot in my home where they will fill comfortable and secure, that they can consider their own while they are here. I will do my best to ensure they are happy and give them time to adjust to a new environment. If they need solo walks, I will ensure that they get special attention and alone time if needed. I know what it feels like to leave my pet with someone other than family and I’ll ensure they are well cared for, safe and happy while your gone. Please reach out if you are interested in having me care for your pet. I’m happy to set up a home visit so you can come and view my space and our pets can meet prior to your trip. I have an established relationship with the vet in town and also keep a list of all 24 hour emergency vets that are located near my residence in case of an emergency. I’m active and love to be outside, I love dogs and have a small 14 pound terrier who is super friendly, well behaved and loves dogs and people. We walk at least twice a day, and she’ll be a great companion for your dog. When I leave the house during the day to run errands and various activities your pet will be secure inside the house and should never left for longer than an average of two hours. I have a fenced yard I, my gate is padlock for their safety and I in a gated community. Your pet will be set up in their own sleeping area while they are here, and have a place to retreat if they need time alone during the day. They will be part of our family life and allowed the run of the house. I live alone, so there will not be other people coming and going in the house when I am not present, I will be the caretaker of your pet. No children reside in the house or other small animals to worry about.

I make sure your pets feel secure and comfortable by sticking closely to their normal schedule, whether that’s feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, or cuddle time. I clean up after them, keep things tidy, and leave your home just as I found it if not better!

I knew Ilanna has Doberman experience, but she exceeded my expectations. I expected my boy to let me know as soon as I picked him up that he was not happy that I left him.
