About: Hi there! I'm a 34-year-old professional living in Red Hook. While I have not yet adopted a dog of my own, I have house-sat, walked dogs for over 50 miles through apps like Rover, and cared for the dogs of my friends. My clients consistently rate me "Extra Caring" and going "Above and Beyond". ♻️ I use compostable waste bags that are environmentally friendly ❇️ I place an AirTag on the collars of dogs for the duration of walks for added safety 💚 I provide lots of care and affection for your furry family members --- I work from home, which makes it easy for me to pet sit. I joined Rover because I'm not at a place in my life where I'm ready to adopt my own cat or dog. So instead I’m happy to give love and care to yours! I have worked for 3 years in customer support so I know how to deliver exceptional service with professional communication. Every time I've met a client through Rover I'm continually amazed by how each person is someone I want to be friends with. Dog and cat owners here on Rover are some of the friendliest people I've met. Which is why I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member soon; especially dogs whose breeds rhyme with "boudin' beaver" and "musky", not that I'm playing favorites! I’m currently unemployed as I was affected by the tech layoffs of 2023. I usually have availability every day of the week and can also house sit as I can work on my job search from home. I am a quiet and respectful person. I am happy to take care of your dog or cat in your home with any instructions you provide. I have previously house sat for friends who had two adult huskies and we all had a great time together.
5. Amanda C.
“Amanda has shown an impressive ability in working with and caring for a plethora of different pets ranging from fowl to fur-babies. I have had the pleasure of seeing her technical skills in action in both the office setting as a LVT and in the home as a dedicated and responsible pet sitter. I could not recommend someone more highly for your next pet sitting or walking engagement.”
6. Gary J.
“Gary has been a long time friend of mine, both him and his wife Paige have been pet sitters for my husband and I for the past 5 years, for multiple occasions, including vacation trips and even last minute events. Gary has always been reliable, trustworthy and caring when it comes to our two pups, Miko, (German Shepherd) and Aries, (Husky mix). Him and his wife are the only ones I will call when it comes to taking care of sitting our doggos and we highly recommend their caregiver services to anyone in need, they can definitely handle the task! 💯🙏🐶”
7. Alexis B.
About: I was blessed to grow up with a pet centered household. I truly function better with multiple personalities in my home! Over the course of my childhood I had 7 cats, 3 dogs, a bunny, fish, and a pet bird. In the past 5 years that I’ve been pet sitting I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, goats, chicken, geese, fish, a bearded dragon, and a donkey. I am always willing to learn more about animals that I am unfamiliar with, and I welcome the challenges that they may bring! I currently work part time, baking donuts every Saturday morning, but after noon I am free. The rest of the week I am either taking care of my own pets or someone else’s. Reach out and we can set up a schedule! At this time I cannot offer in home boarding since I live in a small apartment and I will not take the risk of stressing out my, or your animals. What I can provide is top notch care in your home. I am willing to take dogs on hikes or to the vet. By sticking to the routine that you’ve set for your pets, I will minimize the stress they might have from being away from their owner.
8. Haley B.
“Haley is a caring, attentive person, and an absolute wizard with dogs! She befriended my rescue, who is not a fan of people at all. She’s watched my dogs in the past, and they’ve left nothing but rave reviews for their new friend.”
9. Courtney M.
“Courtney was amazing with our cats. She went above and beyond while taking care of them and made sure our older cat got her medicine. She was also a great communicator and was able to help us out on very short notice. I would definitely recommend her!”
10. Candice S.
“Candice is absolutely wonderful! I am so grateful she was able to care for my two cats while I was out of town. Highly recommended.”
11. Dakota F.
“Dakota took great care of my yellow lab while I was away for the day. Communication with her was so easy, and when I checked my phone in the afternoon I really appreciated all the pictures and detailed updates from her drop-in visit. After our meet and greet, I felt so comfortable seeing how she interacted with our dog, and knew he'd be in good hands.”
12. Michele T.
“Michele is a reliable and loving pet sitter. She has taken care of my two dogs on multiple occasions and makes sure they get enough outdoor time. She always makes sure water bowls are full and backs are scratched! My girls are elderly so she has given medication to them when we have been away on overnight trips. I would recommend Michele to anyone who wants a dog sitter to treat their pets like family.”
13. Collin S.
“Collin has adopted my childhood dog when I was moving to the desert and could not keep him. He is very loving and caring, as well as respectful towards the dog that I had kept very close to my heart. I'm ashamed to admit but that dog is currently doing better then when he was under my care. I have not seen a happier or healthy dog. From what I know he has grown up with multiple animals and has always had a kind touch for them. I would recommend anyone to him”
14. Alicia C.
“Alicia was very responsible, responsive and overarching a pleasure to working with! I have one big dog with rear legs problems and other one with puppy personality. Alicia has handled both dogs very well. Highly recommended her to anyone!”
15. Lori B.
“Lori was fantastic! We were out of town for a week, and she took care of our dog and cat, and even checked in on our chickens as well. Our dog, Hank, loved her visits, when she gave him plenty of attention and snuggles. She was very responsive and sent regular photos and updates. We will definitely be using her again, and we know Hank can’t wait to have her back.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds. I did it for neighbors, family, and friends since I was 12. I take special care in loving each animal I encounter as if I was their owner. I always shrive the keeps the animals schedule and routine the same.
17. Kimberly P.
“Kimberly is, first and foremost, a deeply kind person. She has a soothingly calm energy that I find puts both people and pets at ease very quickly. She is really bright...intuitive, thoughtful and very respectful. She loves being active outside in nature in her free time, especially hiking with her own dog Zeek. If you are looking for a pet service professional who will take true care of your animals, who will keep them safe, and who will be focused and present, look no further. As an animal lover myself, I recognize how important it is to find someone who you can trust and as someone who has known Kimberly for almost 20 years, I can tell you most assuredly that she will be that person for your pet!”
18. Abigail H.
“Abigail was the perfect cat sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cats for so long but it turns out, I didn't have to worry at all. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. She took pictures of them every time and by the end, my cats were so comfortable with her. I would hundred percent recommend her if you want a sweet, caring sitter who you can rely on.”
19. Sophie H.
“Hirschy is a wonderful sitter with a huge love of all dogs. She had a real knack for instinctively knowing the emotional needs of my dog. She is incredibly kind, loving and extremely patient. Look no further, this is the dog sitter for you.”
