About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

“Abigail was the perfect cat sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cats for so long but it turns out, I didn't have to worry at all. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. She took pictures of them every time and by the end, my cats were so comfortable with her. I would hundred percent recommend her if you want a sweet, caring sitter who you can rely on.”

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pup Kona. I have always lived with dogs. And recently, have been thinking about getting a cat! I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. We have a 2 year old golden puppy who is treated as if she’s part of the family. She is soo loved and so spoiled. I also worked at a groomers shop so I have a lot of experience with different dogs. I am currently working part time and attending short days at college four days a week. I have a lot of free time though and especially on my weekends I have a lot of time At home my dog has a perimeter collar so she is free to wander about our yard as she wishes. When I am dog sitting I always have the dog on a leash and I stay outside with them the entire time they are outside

These days I focus on in-home pet sitting, because most pets are happiest staying in their own space and keeping their normal routine. I know how hard it can be to leave your animals when you travel, so my goal is always to make it feel like they’re just hanging out with a friend who loves dogs as much as you do. We have a spacious, safe property with fenced areas for play and exercise, and we keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and downtime. Since my wife and I both work from home most of the week, someone is almost always here to give attention and care. For client homes, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible - from meals and walks to playtime and cuddles - to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own environment.

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
