“Taylor was totally awesome! She took extra steps to gain Tink's trust by meeting her where she was (even under a bush!) instead of expecting Tink to come to her. Taylor was on time with all scheduled visits and followed each with pictures, so I was able to relax knowing Tink was well cared for during my absence. If there were more than 5 stars, Taylor would still earn them all!”

About: With 10 years of pet care experience, I provide reliable and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s caring for playful puppies who need training and structure or providing gentle support for senior pets, I ensure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have experience with administering medication, maintaining exercise routines, and understanding different pet behaviors. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry friends are in caring and capable hands! As someone who works from home and has my own dog, pet care is naturally a part of my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets on a routine that meets their needs, whether it’s exercise, feeding schedules, or simply offering comfort and attention. Having my own dog has also given me firsthand experience in training, socialization, and understanding different pet personalities. Living in the heart of downtown, surrounded by many parks, I provide a stimulating and engaging environment for pets in my care. Whether in my apartment or a client’s home, I prioritize regular walks, playtime, and companionship to ensure pets feel happy and comfortable. For pets staying with me, I offer a cozy, safe space with plenty of exercise opportunities at nearby parks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their usual routines, providing feeding, walks, and plenty of affection to help them feel secure while their owners are away.

“Lauren is an amazing sitter! She dropped in on our pup for 5 days and took great care of her as well as keeping her company with snuggles and her toys! She was on time every day and followed all instructions we left for her. I’d recommend Lauren to anyone!”

About: I've always had at least one animal by my side ever since I was an infant. My direct pet care experience includes dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, and fish. (Oh! I also would like to add two honorable mentions.. the toads and frogs I often see around my home. Although, there is no direct care, I like to think I have a relationship with each of them.) I currently have a family Golden Retriever named Sasha. We call her Sushie and Sashimi for short :) I've also have had the gift of being around friends' and families' animals, including goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, rats, cats, and dogs. Also, I used to volunteer at Animal Friends, which is now called Heal Animal Rescue. It was a great experience being able to care for dogs that didn't have a permanent home or company. Some of the care I gave included cleaning their kennels to ensure that each dog had a healthy environment to live in, exercising with them, ensuring they had fresh food and water, and simply offering them company, especially since their visitors may have been sparse outside of us volunteers and staff. Animals are God's precious creatures. Each and every one is beautiful and created by God. I believe that we have been given the opportunity to steward them well and with love. Thus, it would be an honor and privilege to take care of your precious loved one. My work schedule is partly remote, so I can be available on certain week days during standard 8:30-4 PM work hours. My remote days are currently Mondays and will include Tuesdays in the near future. In the evenings and weekends, I can be free too with notice! To ensure the safety of everyone, I request a walk-through of items and places I'd be using at your home prior to care. This may include showing me important things like, how your pet gate opens and closes, how your front door locks, how to administer certain medicine, etc. I appreciate any and all information about the pet and home so that we can all have a lovely experience :)

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, including the 4 family dogs I have now. I watched neighbors, family, and friends dogs. My golden retriever and I did a training program where we did intro level training. I am currently on summer break from school, so I am able to work most days. I am willing to adjust schedule to fit the care necessary. My home has an electric fence, but I usually bring my dogs to parks or trails to walk and play. Willing to bring your dogs to parks and trails as well as your yard to play. I love to make any animal comfortable in their home, and cater to them.

About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. I grew up with 3 dogs, and once I was in college I had two Rottweilers that have since passed onto the rainbow bridge. They were my pride and joy - our favourite thing to do together was camp! Looking to fill the pet void by helping some fellow yinzers out. I take the upmost pride in keeping your animal safe and at ease. I won't take your precious fur baby anywhere unfamiliar, especially when first getting to know each other. I also will treat your animal as if they were mine. I am a teacher who is on summer break and looking for a career change. I am available all days, anytime until I find my next gig. Once I have another full time job, I will update availability. I do not offer care in my own home (Husband is allergic). I have a kind demeanour and have always loved animals. Kindness leads all of my actions. I promise to keep your fur babies in good care.

About: I have had a lot of experience, taking care of cats and dogs over the years. They were all taken care of with love. I can administer meds if they can be given orally. I take care of my two cats daily. I always make sure they have toys, time outside, weather permitting, with an electric fence to keep them safe. Fresh water from a water fountain, clean litter boxes, Royal Canin dry cat food, play time and lots of love. They are also members of Bansfield Hospital to make sure they are keep healthy. Whenever I would watch a cat in somebody’s home or have a drop in at someone’s home, I would make sure that all of their needs were met by following the Cat owners requests. I would also take my time in introducing myself to the cats that that are shy. I will give them a lot of love and attention and make sure that they were totally taken care of the way I take care of my own cats. I will also take pictures of the cats, give updates and send them to the client

About: I've been caring for dogs since childhood and have always had a dog as an adult. I currently have 2 dogs and the help of the whole family, especially our animal loving and training daughter (I lead all care and activity). Whether it be puppyhood, senior care, or medical issues including special diets and medication, I'm comfortable with a wide range of individualized instructions. I am centrally located in Mt. Washington with the benefits of a fenced-in back yard, a dog park and hiking trails within blocks. Additionally, I take walks every day and our guests are promised to have plenty of opportunities to play and receive attention. I love dogs! Pet care is a part of life each and every day. Times of day are insignificant as pet care happens very early, late at night, and all the time in between as needed. haIve a fenced in yard, comfy cushions (and couches although less preferred), and a crate available if that's requested. Dogs are walked daily with one walk somewhere from 1-5 miles and given endless opportunities to play (and learn). I can bathe dogs as well but shy away from grooming. My dogs are fed 2-3 times daily with treats when appropriate; no people food. I personalize all care based on needs and requests.

“Loved Ashley and my Sugar Bear took to her instantly! Very very happy with her kindness and made an extra effort with a quick meet and greet!”
