About: Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I've had cats since birth, cared for large dogs for the past 10 years, and have owned snakes and other reptiles for more than 20 years. This experience has given me a great understanding of the unique needs, personalities, and behaviors of many different types of pets. One of my greatest strengths is building trust quickly with animals. I take the time to meet each pet where they are, learn their preferences, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. About: I’ve been raised around animals and have always adored them. I am 20 years old and have four animals of my own. A dog named Panda, two cats Severus and Luna, and a bearded dragon named Sirius. I truly see animals as family, not just pets. I worked at a dog/cat boarding kennel in high school and have always had animals of my own. I work as a Nanny and am a full time online college student. I have lots of availability during mornings-afternoons for doggie walks, or just pet check ins. I’d love to help take care of your beloved animals 😊❤️ I also have experience with extremely fearful dogs. I’m currently in my Sophomore year of college online. So I have a pretty flexible schedule. I have morning-afternoon availability every day. And I frequently have evening-weekend availability. While staying in your home I will care for your pets like they’re my own. I will take them on multiple daily walks, feed and bathe them if needed. About: I’ve always taken care of family’s and friends animals. Whenever they call, I’d be there. I’ve taken care of animals from days to week. Check ins to over night stays. I am currently have a job right now, my hours are always changing! About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small for 8 years. I have some experience training puppies and adult dogs as well. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, over all take great care of their furry friends for weeks before. I have always had a love for furbabies, I always volunteered at the rescue shelters as much as I could. Im currently enrolled in college, however after class hours and in between I spend all my time taking care of my fur babies at home. I am not currently working which gives me plenty of time to play and care for your loved pups/kitties. I have a big yard and 2 playful pups to keep your furry friends company. I have a couple crates so that if needed they can have down time away from each other to ensure I can prioritize the care given to your loved ones.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently own 2. After college I was briefly a certified dog trainer. I've owned, cared for, or worked around a large variety of dog breeds and personalities, with their ages ranging from very young to elderly or end of life care. Animals are at the core of my life. As a teen I volunteered several summers at the Oregon Zoo working with many animal species. In college, I volunteered at a wildlife rehab center, and completed an internship with the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, Africa. I respect individual animals, and meet them where they're at. Regardless of the situation, I try to adapt to their mood while helping to fulfill their needs so they can live their best life. I'm a work from home mom who also spends time talking care of my kids and grandma. Generally my schedule is pretty flexible each day. I truly live by the Golden Rule. About: I've taken care of pets basically my whole life, especially cats, and I've also had a dog for a couple years. I'm always the first person my friends and family call when they need help with their pets. I stay well read on what's good for animals, from training to helping with anxiety, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure a pet is happy. They're living creatures who deserve just as much happiness as we do. In terms of training, I've helped a cat retrain to use the litter box after it regressed due to anxiety, working through the root cause rather than just the behavior itself. I've also reduced aggression in animals through consistent training. I'm willing to stick with things for a long time and stay consistent, especially when it's for the betterment of the animal. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. That flexibility means I can adjust to a pet's needs rather than squeezing them into a rigid schedule. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled. I pay close attention to safety details like doors, gates, and anything that could be harmful to them, and I adapt to whatever setup the home already has in place.

About: My love for dogs started when I was a kid—my grandpa taught me how to create gentle bonds with our family’s dogs. I became the one with the dog obsessed-personality and for two years I volunteered at the Animal Shelter in SLO, CA. It was so rewarding and all I ever want to do is make sure these animals always feel loved! Any time someone needs an amateur trainer, they call me! I love dogs, and want to make my passion for them into a career. Moving to Oregon has been a whirlwind, and I’m excited to continue working with the community and their furry friends! I’ve recently moved to Oregon and I’m ready to get back into dog-sitting for the time being! That means my availability is wide open and I can drop in for quick visits or weekend stays. My own experience with dogs is unorthodox to some; it’s their world and I just live in it. I love them inside and following me around and don’t mind them on furniture or in rooms. I have experience with crate training if that is what is preferred, as well as dog walking since we learned tactics in the animal shelter. I also like to expand on dog enrichment to keep their minds engaged as well as their bodies!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and clients for the last decade. I have experiencing administering medication as my family dog was diabetic, as well as medications for client’s pets as well. As a college student entering summer time, I have a lot of open availability to hang with your best furry friends! Pet care is an easy fit as I have a hybrid job with extremely flexible hours. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!
