About: I am a pet sitter full time. I have been certified as a professional pet sitter thru Pet Sitters International. We have a doggie door and a fenced in secure yard. Our house is air conditioned for those hot summer days. I provide walks and baths if needed. There are numerous wineries in the area if you'd like to enjoy a day of tasting or try one of our great restaurants and leave your pets with me. I can also feed and care for your dog or cat at your home if preferred (Hopland to Healdsburg and surrounding area. I have 2 small dogs of my own. Please make sure your pup is up to date in all vaccinations before any overnights or daycare. Overnights at your house or mine. Your pup will be very well cared for and may not want to go home. I can provide drop in visits at hotels for those visiting in the area. I can also chaperone your pet during your wedding and provide transportation. A long walk after breakfast is always a must. We come home for a little rest. And then around midday we go out back for some ball playing and fetching followed by a little sunbathing. Pets safety is always the number one priority. Pets will always be on leash while outside the home. Back yard is securely fenced. I have a dog gate up by front door so I dog can not run out if front door is opened.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life and my parents blessed me with my first dog when I was 11 years old. Since then I've had 5 dogs and 2 cats which I've taken care of. I was responsible for their care such as bathing, training, feedings & playing with them. Since then I have dog sat for multiple friends and coworkers and I am honored they have trusted me with the care of their dogs. I have a full-time job Monday-Friday. I am available on weekdays anytime after 5:30PM for drop-in visits or dog walking. On Saturday's & Sunday's I am available all day for drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting or boarding. I live in a house with a big backyard that is perfect for any size dog. I also allow dog inside my house as well. I currently live with 3 other girls and have no children or pets so my home is very calm & relaxing. When house sitting I love to spend time at the dogs owners house as much as I can because it is a safe & familiar for the dog. I do however like to take them on walks or hikes so they have time for fun and adventure.

My children share my love for dogs, and while they enjoy having furry visitors around, I personally handle all pet care and responsibilities. Any interactions with my children are always supervised by me. I also offer morning and evening and weekend drop-in visits.

About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. I currently am only offering care in my own home and plan to only host one additional dog overnight at a time. Ask me any questions you'd like.

About: Hi there! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud pet parent who has been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. As an adult, that’s given me a lot of experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and quirks! ❤️ I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 100+ lbs and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m comfortable with behavioral challenges including anxiety, reactivity, and food aggression, and I have hands-on experience with puppy training and basic commands. Cats have also been a huge part of my life. I’ve lived in multi-cat households for most of my life and have experience with cats and kittens of all personalities. One of my most memorable experiences was when a stray cat came into my home and ended up giving birth to her kittens right on my lap! 🥹🐱 I’m also comfortable caring for chickens and have some experience with birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I regularly pet sit for friends and family, and I decided to join Rover because caring for animals is genuinely something I love doing. About: I love all kinds of animals. I have 2 schnauzers of my own, a kitten, and a hamster. I've pet sitted a bearded dragon and rescued an orphaned baby squirrel. There is no pet that I won't care for. I do have a huge soft spot for dogs as they are the pets that I have cared for the longest. I love going on walks and playing around. I used to volunteer at the LAAS shelter when I had more time. I received training from them on dog, kitten, rabbit, and hamster handling. I'm a full time student but my appartment does not allow me to hold more than my tiny kitten and my hamster. I would love to meet more pets which is what led me here. I make sure to keep pets inside or heavily supervised if they are allowed to go out in the yard. I am very careful with walking dogs as I am aware of how exciteable they are.

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.

About: Hi, I'm Tommy, my family and recently moved to Clearlake from Santa Rosa. I work nights and am home during the days, but my wife is here when I'm not and can help out if needed. We are all animal lovers here and enjoy having dogs. Unfortunately our own doggies have passed away recently. We aren't looking to get our own again just yet but would love to watch yours for a bit. :) I usually work from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. so I get home around 6:30 at which point I will let the dogs out for some yard time. My wife and son will be up around 7:00 and I know my son will be excited to go for a walk. My wife will be the caregiver until I wake up around 1:00 p.m. so one of us will be around at all times. We have a fenced fully fenced in yard and no other animals on the property, and there will always be someone here to take care of your pet.

Re: ‘Special' pets: Do you have a rescue with mood-swings, a cat that attacks visitors then demands to be hand-fed? A cranky pants senior dog? Or maybe a joyful but jumpy terrier that needs constant, gentle conversation on a walk? Having been a foster pet & rescue animal parent I've had my share of pet personalities- and they’re all wonderful! Some require ‘special’ attention and I’m here to provide that. I work from home and have a great schedule. I started on Rover to get more time with pets after losing my amazing cat that I had for 18 years. It really filled a gap in my life! I’ve met many special animals along the way. My availability is typically flexible- including last minute bookings. I will care for your pet in your home or as part of a concierge service at your hotel, depending on your needs. *in addition to pet sitting, collecting mail, watering plants and other light duties can be arranged. Keeping your pets happy and at ease is my goal.
