About: I've taken care of animals since I was a child. I have 6 years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, so I'm comfortable around animals regardless of size. My family and friends have entrusted me to care for their young pets as well as their older ones. I have a Rottweiler, a Yorkie, and 4 cats, so I don't shy away from many animals! My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide pet care throughout the week. I make sure to keep my calendar up to date! I understand feeling anxious entrusting your pet to a stranger, but I'll do everything I can to make your pet feel as loved as possible. I'll make sure your pet gets their steps in (if dog walking). The water bowl will never run dry, and I will diligently handle client requests to make sure their pet is as comfortable as possible.

About: Hey everyone! A little about me is that I’m a veteran who got out of the military in 2025, and since then I’ve been a stay-at-home dad to my kids and my two dogs. Safe to say the dogs are just as spoiled as the kids around here lol. I’ve had my dogs for over 4 years, and they’re truly family to me, so I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away. So even though I haven’t professionally dog sat before, I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for years because they know I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and just making sure pets feel comfortable and relaxed in their environment. What I think really sets me apart is that I’m home most of the day as a stay-at-home dad, so your pets won’t just be left alone waiting for someone to come back hours later which really helps if they have separation anxiety! Trust me I know! Lol They’ll get real attention, supervision, playtime, and care throughout the day. I also know how important routines are for pets, so I do my best to stick to whatever schedule your dog or dogs are used to so they feel right at home. Whether your dog or dogs are just balls of energy or they just want someone to hang out with on the couch, I’m happy to match their vibe. Honestly, I just treat them the same way I’d want someone treating my own dogs. I’m a stay-at-home dad, so my schedule is super flexible and I’m home most of the day. I don’t work outside the home, which means I’m able to give pets lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I can easily work around your pet’s normal routine and keep things as consistent as possible, whether that’s feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medication, or bedtime routines. I’m usually up early and stay up late, so early drop-offs, late check-ins, and keeping up with active pups is never a problem! My biggest thing is treating your pet or pets as part of the family here! I have a big backyard for dogs to run around, play, and get their energy out, plus two friendly dogs of my own that love making new buddies. I make sure your pets are getting plenty of playtime, attention, potty breaks, fresh water, and are fed on the exact schedule you provide so they can stay comfortable and keep their normal routine. The last thing you need is to worry if they are off schedule! I know every pet has a different personality and their own little quirks, but either way I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. And don’t worry about accidents and messes because they do happen sometimes and to me it’s no big deal!

About: Hi! I am a medical student at ACOM in the Dothan area. For the past seven years I have cared for many animals. I trained puppies for the guide dog foundation, I have raised Guinea Pigs for 5 years, and my extended family and friends have many fur babies that I have been acquainted to. I currently work in Clinical Research and am an incoming medical student! I am available on weekends and sometimes outside of normal business hours. I am also available for evenings and holidays. I have a fenced dog park and live in a pedestrian friendly area. I have a spacious car and a great driving record. I have pet sat and boarded before.

About: I have fostered and trained a service dogs. Many of them have graduated, and are now helping individuals manage their disabilities. I have worked extensively with dogs of all ages, from hours old to up in their teens! I work part time / per diem as an EMT. Because of this, I can be pretty flexible about when and how often I can check in on pets! On check-ins, I can feed, play, and/or take pups out for a quick bathroom break. On walks, I take pups on a walk at their leisure with lots of time for sniffing. For overnight care, I can sleep in your residence and I can take pups out roughly every 4 to 8 hours (but usually on the shorter side!).

About: I've taken care of many animals in my past. I started around 13. I started with three huskys and one toy poddle so I am good with large and small breeds. I am currently working at a Mother's morning out daycare. I would love to help out with anyone who needs dog,cat, or any animal services! I've worked with many animals and have a furry friend as well! I have a fenced backyard in case of boarding services if needed. I love going for walks with my dog and getting there energy out.

About: Hi, I'm Rebecca! I've cared for pets of all kind throughout my life. I live in Ashford, AL and have 2 amazing Golden Retrievers and an 11 year old rabbit. I work throughout the week, but I am almost always available on the weekends to help. My family and I are newer to the Ashford area and I'm new to Rover as well. Since we're home on the weekends, and with my experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, poultry, and other small mammals, I figured that I'd give Rover a try! I'm happy to provide any references. Over the years I've done pet sitting, fostered, and owned pets of my own. I'm here to help you with your pets if you're away for an extended period of time on the weekends. Need to go to a baseball tournament? No worries, I can tend to your pets so that you don't have to rush home. I can either walk your dog, or let them out and play with them (and feed them of course)! I can also help train your puppy using positive reinforcement! Let me know how I can help! I am available on most weekends for drop-ins from 7am - 7pm. Drop-ins will be from 20 - 30 minutes. At least 24 hours are needed for bookings and cancellations. If you do not have a fenced yard, I will require that a leash and harness (or collar) to be available for dogs. If dogs need to be walked, it is assumed that your dog will be familiar with and well-behaved while walking on a leash.

About: I’m a nurse, mom, and wife, and I love all animals. I changed my availability to reflect my work schedule. I work 3 days a week. I grew up taking care of horses, dogs, and cats. I treat all animals with the kind of care and attention they require to be happy! We have two dogs, Brando and Mila, a large fenced yard for them to run, and a 2 story house with plenty of space. Our dogs are spayed and neutered. My husband and I have three crates, but we never keep our dogs locked in the crates. They stay in the kitchen with food and water when we aren’t home. About: I am a stay at home mom that loves animals and loves to be outside. We love to take our dogs on long walks around the neighborhood along with our four month old son. I have also volunteered at numerous animal shelters over the years. I am currently working a part-time job and am in school, but I am free any day to check up on your fur babies. About: Recently moved to Dothan to be with family. I’ve had pets all my life whether it was a dog, cat, bird, I’ve even babysat a bunny! It’s never a dull moment with me as I’m always ready to play with my furry friends. Having taken care of my first (solo) pet, a cat who’s now 4 years old has challenged me so much, I am ready for just about anything! I love walking and going on hikes. Can’t wait to meet you and your bestie! I currently am working with Rover full time. On my days off I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle to counteract my unofficial job of eating food 24/7! (I used to be a chef so I am very adaptable and have lots of energy). I will care for your pets as I do my own, with love and compassion. Although I will not tolerate scratching the couch, peeing on the floor, ect I understand animals make mistakes too and will be considerate- clean up the mess and try to assist correcting the problem by showing them where to pee or playing with them to release extra energy or tension they might have. Sometimes pets just want company and I’m more than happy to do just that as well.

About: Animal advocate since the age of 5. I have had snakes, turtles, birds, cats and dogs my entire life. I have delivered, raised and trained many litters of kittens since I was 10. My family owned Wet Pets where I spent every summer growing up. It was a little girl’s paradise. I have helped many turtles cross the road and our most recent fur baby jumped in my car at the Dollar General and I really think he was trying to rescue me because a wasp flew in the car. The workers in DG said people moved and just left him 😢 wasn’t sure how he and our German would get along but it’s like he has always been here! So we have a 100 pound German Shepherd (Fitz) and a brindle pit mix (Saber) so when my daughter walked in with a 2 pound kitten….sure why not. We absolutely love our fur babies and promise to treat yours no different! I am in education, so I can’t leave during the day but my pups walk me every morning. They are way to rotten to stay outside so they are definitely inside all day in their bedroom which has a full size bed, sectional, and they have their own TV. My son come home at lunch to check on them. I get home around 3 and we go outside. Then when my daughter gets home they get to play again. I really feel like i am describing how I would care for one of my kids because they are treated no differently. I would prefer to care for your babies in your home. My pups are VERY sweet and love to play at the dog park with other dogs but I would rather not chance bringing new friends in. But with that being said once we all get to know each other and maybe a few trips together to the dog park. I would have absolutely no problem bringing them over. If there is ever situation and you need to bring them here like I said mine have the whole end of the house and we have a fenced in backyard so keeping them separate would not be a problem!

About: Hi, I’ve worked with animals my entire life, I grew and was raised on a farm so I have experience with all kinds of animals ranging from reptiles to large animals. I am doing daily cat care and dog care with my own animals and it’s something I often find myself enjoying doing. I also clean and care for my rats. I make sure my dogs and cats eat a full meal every day, they enjoy going for walks and spending a lot of time outside, as well as cuddling and making they sure they have all the love they could ever need.

Responsibilities includes walking, making special meals as instructed, bathing your pets, giving your babies food and water, enjoy play time, cleaning liter boxes/cages and more!
