“Wonderful experience! Elizabeth was very sweet with our dogs! They seemed to love her! She was very communicative and followed our requests and asked great questions! And I love all the pics and the video we received! She also left a lovely card in our screen for when we got home! Thank you Elizabeth! We will definitely be booking again!”

“Adding in to my earlier review, as I mentioned Rebecca did 2 back to back jobs for us. She also watches the house, the pool and our fish tank. We provided a list of instructions and briefed her on them ahead of time; all went according to our requests. She did tell us that she had school commitments up front and we discussed how long she would be out of the home in advance. It was never very long and our Bogie was kept comfortable throughout. Rebecca was professional in her communications and ensured we had all the information to make the right decision for our pet. We were very pleased with Rebecca's efforts and will be asking her for future bookings.”

“We are really excited to have found Daniella. She is very reliable and competent. She did everything we needed plus some. She took care of our 3 dogs and our horse. She sent us lots of pictures and updates. Our dogs are my babies and it makes me anxious to leave them but I could tell in the pictures they were enjoying themselves and happy so I could relax and enjoy myself. We will definitely use Daniella again.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had pets of my own. Caring for animals comes naturally to me because I truly love being around them. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and giving lots of attention to dogs/cats of different sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to check in on, care for, and spend time with their pets. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each animal’s unique needs. I understand how important pets are to a family, and I treat every animal like my own. Because I’m currently taking online classes, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets more attention throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure each pet gets dedicated time, exercise, and attention. I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, medications, and house rules. I respect your space and keep everything clean and secure. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, pets are supervised during walks or playtime, and any special needs are handled with care. I create a calm, positive environment so pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.
“Zelda, our dog, has separation anxiety. Rayna visited a few times before her stay and was calm and gentle with Zelda. It was very evident that, after we returned home from our trip, Rayna did everything she could to make Zelda comfortable and feel safe even though her pack was away. Rayna was quick to respond to my texts during our vacation and took very good care of the house.”

About: I am a registered nurse working mostly night shifts. That means I'm off during the day! I can do overnights if needed. It also means I know how to handle dirty situations. I'd love to walk your furry dog. I grew up with two to three dogs in the house. I do not have a dog here in California so i'm missing hanging out with dogs! I am comfortable with all sizes and breeds. Let me take care of your animal while at work, on vacation, or otherwise. Im super responsible, punctual, and have reliable transportation. I can take the dog on a hike, crab digging on the beach, or an easy walk in the neighborhood. Let me know the dog needs and i'll be right there!

“Yesi made it possible for us to leave our beloved pets and go enjoy a family wedding. I felt comfortable with the care and patience they had with our diverse bunch of fur babies (and koi fish). And we got some adorable photos sent to us that helped ease my maternal guilt. I am already looking to book Yesi for our next weekend away!”

“Destiny is amazing!!! First and foremost, she is great with my two doggies and my kitty. They took to her right away and that made me feel very comfortable. She is very punctual and follows up with text messages and let's me know when she will arrive. Super duper responsible!!! My dogs really like her alot and she is very caring and nurturing towards them. If you are looking for someone that you can depend on and know your fur babies will be taken care of, SHE IS YOUR PERSON!!!!”

“We are thankful for Andrea! We had just moved and needed to find a sitter shortly after. Our dog was very stressed if left alone with all the changes. Andrea stayed with him the whole time and gave him lots of love. The house was also clean when we got home. Thank you, Andrea!”
About: I have had puppies to seniors. I have trained all my own dogs and I have 30 years of making sure all dogs have attention and making sure they are all taken care. I go to school in the mornings and free after that and free on the weekends. I can come over before school as well if needed I have a fully fenced yard and have morning and night routines for all my fur babies. And I train my 2 younger ones when I have downtime
“Cambry watched my dog and also my friends so we have two reviews! Cambry was awesome. Such a sweet and caring person. She was very good with communication and always responded in a timely matter. There was a small hiccup with Finn and she was able to make me feel comfortable again immediately and I knew he was in the best hands. She was very present the whole entire time and even helped finn with the training I had been working on. Cambry told me a little about her past with animals and I asked if she was able to clip my dogs nails if she had any time and she did it!! Like how awesome! Finn is still in his puppy phase and she handled it so well and was so patient with him. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future. Cambry went above and beyond for our furry loved ones. She communicated very well and went out of her way to have a meet and greet with the dogs to ensure she was a good fit for their personalities prior to her watching them. She never seemed hurried or rushed. It was evident from the moment we met her that she had a lot of experience working with animals. She is very patient and has a wonderful calm demeanor. Fendi has anxiety towards new humans, but by the end of her stay he gained such a comfortability with her that he even let her cut his nails (something he doesn’t even let me do). During my trip she sent text, picture and video updates which was great. She also kept the house very clean as if it were her own! I highly recommend Cambry and will 100% ask her to watch fendi in the future!”

“Tamera was great! Our Lacey is a sensitive girl and Tamera came over early to make sure all of her needs were met while we were away. She communicated through out the day and sent lots of pictures. We came home to a happy dog. We will definitely have Tamera back! Lacey loved her!”
“She went above and beyond what I expected, my dogs love her because the word sitter doesn’t describe her at all because she hardly sat. She interacted with them and took them for walks more often than they were used to. Now I know I can go away for several days without worrying about them and her prices are affordable. I think she’s great and my dogs do too!”

About: Hi! My name is Mitzi, and I’m 24 years old. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for more than half of it, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I currently have two spayed Shih Tzus and a friendly Doberman, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My dogs do great around other dogs, and I’ve also cared for family members’ and friends’ pets while they’ve been away on vacation, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can fully trust with your fur baby. I have experience with both long-haired and short-haired dogs, and I genuinely love everything that comes with caring for them. Whether it’s daily walks, potty breaks, feeding on a regular schedule, keeping up with grooming and appointments, or just giving them love and attention, I make sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs are honestly my way of de-stressing, and spending time with them is something I truly enjoy. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always do my best to make them feel loved while you’re away. I am in nursing school, so i can either come during online classes or after in person class! My schedule is also open part time I live in a spacious household, my house is fenced front and back! I can also crate train your dog in your home or mine

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Country Club
Tamera stayed at our house with our three dogs for a week and did a great job. House was well taken care of and the dogs were happy and healthy when we returned. She was great with communication with lots of pictures and updates. I recommend her and we will use her again.

Wonderful experience! Elizabeth was very sweet with our dogs! They seemed to love her! She was very communicative and followed our requests and asked great questions! And I love all the pics and the video we received! She also left a lovely card in our screen for when we got home! Thank you Elizabeth! We will definitely be booking again!

Helen was trustworthy and very good about keeping my dogs secure. One of my dogs can be difficult to manage and runs to the front door, so we have a gate to keep her away. So many of my friends and guests have let my dog run out the door, but Helen had no problem! She left my house clean and my dogs were happy!

Ashlee is the best! I am beyond happy and satisfied with my experience. Let me start with, I was very hesitant about using Rover, but meeting Ashlee and the relationship she had with my fur babies put my mind at ease. I will use her from now on and refer to my friends and family. She sent me pictures and updates every day, which I loved. She noticed my girl needed her donut to stop licking her paws. Coming home and seeing how well they were taken care of is the best and stress-free.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Country Club on Rover is $49.74 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 1,228 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Country Club. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Country Club walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Country Club maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Country Club choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Country Club. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
