About: I have owned my own dog for the past 15 years. Experienced with difficult eaters, medication needs, walking, playing etc. Experienced with dogs who don’t like other dogs. Currently at home most of the day most days. Will spend a lot of quality time with your pet. I’ll cater to how your pet wants to spend their time: cuddling, playing, walks, napping. About: Although I do not currently have pets of my own, I have always loved animals and have been the go-to pet sitter for friends and colleagues since moving back to Pittsburgh in 2019. I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from quick check-ins to longer stays. About: I was raised around animals, including horses and a beagle kennel. Then, I had a sweet chihuahua for 13 years that I raised and trained from a puppy. I really do love all animals, and timid cats usually take a liking to me. I’m currently working part time, so pet care fits in to my daily schedule very well. I’m flexible with availability and commute, and read care instructions carefully. I have a two story house with a unfenced backyard that I can watch small to medium sized pets. When going to client’s home, I follow care instructions very closely and provide lots of love and attention for the fur babies.

I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
