About: Certified Veterinary Technician (6+ years) to check in on your pets during the day and take them for walks. Proficient medication administration help if needed, nail trims, etc. Six plus years practicing in the veterinary setting such as oncology, emergency, and general practice medicine. Working part time a local veterinary clinic. My availability is based around my son's school schedule and my work schedule. I will do my best to make a schedule that works for both parties! Mornings, afternoons, evenings etc. Double slip leads at all times when outside for loss prevention and safety measures. Willing to play in fenced in area only but will work with training on a double leash. I can feed, water, help train for basic commands and better walks, walk and even administer medications. Nail trims and training are an extra charge if pet is comfortable with me performing them.

About: I am involved with local rescues and I have fosterd both dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs and 5 cats all different sizes and ages. I am able to take care of special needs animals and I have experience with insulin injections. Senior pets are welcome. I work from home and I am available to do in home visits after 3:30 PM. I am the primary caregiver for the animals in my care. I offer earlier visits on weekends as well. I follow all of the pet owners safety rules (leashes, harnesses when walking) and feeding/water/crate routines to provide peace of mind for the pet parent.

About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

“We have two large dogs, that require a ridiculous amount of attention, especially since one is very sharp/shy. We asked Katrena to come meet our dogs a couple times, to make sure that they would be compatible with her, and her with them. She was very prompt and on time with both meetings prior to actually being hired. She was very attentive to our dogs, and took plenty of time to make sure they, and we were comfortable with leaving the dogs in her care. Not only did our dogs accept her, but they absolutely adored her. Her attention to detail was second to none. She was prompt each day, and made sure that the dogs were calm, before leaving, especially because of the fireworks for Independence Day. We were very comfortable knowing that our dogs were well taken care of, and that she was accepted as part of their pack. If you’re having any doubts about your pets companion in your absence, I assure you you won’t after leaving them in the care of Katrena. She treats them as her own, and she never seems to tire from giving belly rubs. We will be using her again, in the near future, and so happy that we decided to hire her for the care of our dogs.”

About: I’ve had a passion for animals my entire life! In fact, I always thought I’d be a vet but ended up going into human medicine instead. Growing up, my family had a Brittany spaniel named Dixie. She was my best friend! I enjoyed taking her for walks, training her, and giving her lots of love. We also had a cat, who I helped nurse back to health after she was hit by a car. My neighbors entrusted me with taking their dogs out to go potty and for walks from a very young age. A few years ago I adopted a stray cat who I named Daniel. She’s the best! I also have an Australian shepherd named Meeko. I enjoy training him and seeing how smart he is! I love the challenge of keeping up with his high mental and physical demands! I would love the opportunity to help take care of your pets as well! I currently work full time, so I am only available to provide pet care in the evenings and weekends. About: Over the course of my life, I’ve owned seven different types of pets, from horses to cats and dogs and others in between! This pet care experience that started in early childhood has led me to appreciate, understand, and know how to handle different furry family members’ personalities. In addition, I have pet at for various families in my community, all of whom had various pets with different needs and temperaments. It would be my honor to care for your pet and give them the treatment they deserve as part of your family. I am currently a college student with a fairly flexible schedule, with availability throughout different parts of the day. I am able to provide pet care throughout most days of the week in general! The last thing I’d like to do is disrupt your pet schedule or routine, so I will do everything in my ability to follow your standards to the letter.

About: We have been around animals our whole lives. Adam grew up on a farm and Haley had dogs, cats, and birds. We currently have two golden retrievers and two cats. We are experienced in providing pet medication, as one of our cats takes daily medication. Haley works from home full time so she has a lot of flexibility and availability. Adam works full time in the office but has availability in the evenings. We have a fenced in back yard and two golden retrievers who love to play! We also have two cats that get along well with other animals.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young it has always been a passion of mine. I was always the person people relied on to let sit because people know their pets will be in good hands. I love taking walk with my pets , playing with toys, and anything else to make my pet happy. I work part time working from home currently so I will be able to give your pet my undivided attention and it’s never hard to fit pet sitting into my daily routine if anything it makes it more exciting. I will follow all instructions about caring for your animal so if I am at your home you can rest assure that your animal will feel no changes with me caring for them.

About: Newborn puppies to senior dogs. Kittens to cats. Babysat 6 dogs for a week and a half by myself! I’m the go to if someone needs their pet watched in the family and I’ve been doing it for years. Family/ friends I have done it for. I’ve also been been a caregiver (nurse aid) for seniors so I know what it’s like to take care of people and pets!! We can always talk about my schedule through messaging to figure out when’s a best time or / when I’m free to babysit! Feel free to talk to me about it!! I will make sure they are fed, bathe them if needed, give them water, make sure they are all happy and good before I leave the clients home! Making sure your fur babies are happy as can be!

About: I’ve had a dog in my house ever since i was younger and i have got a dog of my own for 5 years now! I’m currently working part time, so i’m definitely very available and very flexible with days and times and will be doing that for a while! I have a fence for my dog so i’m very careful with my dog and safety at home and would do the same for your house and dog , i also can easily crate your dog if needed as well!
