About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! For in-home boarding we will be a mother-son team with pretty wide open schedules to care for our furry guests, and will provide a great big house and yard in a great pet-friendly neighborhood for them to enjoy! I can also sit at your home if that is more convenient for you and the pet. My parents dog recently passed away at the age of 17. While I was living with them I helped to raise and care for her throughout the years. I thankfully and gratefully have always had dogs to care for throughout my entire life, from as a young child all the way to just recently with the passing of our most recent dog in February 2026. About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there’s adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.
