About: I have had experience taking care of a variety of animals, from dogs, to cats, to reptiles, rodents, and more! As a child, I volunteered in an animal shelter and was responsible for bathing, cleaning, and generally caring for the animals. In my personal life, I have owned several breeds of dogs, as well as a rabbit. I have experience petsitting with cats and dogs, and am comfortable walking dogs of any size. I currently work day shifts, anywhere from 6am-2pm. My availability may vary and will be updated week to week in order to reflect my current schedule. Mental and physical stimulation are my top priorities, both with my own pets, and with client's pets! I’m currently an intern and volunteer at an animal shelter where I work with the community to promote adoption, be a voice for the voiceless, and champion responsible pet ownership. I started this journey pet sitting on the side, but have made the decision to leap into it more full time! I am currently super flexible on my pet sitting, as I am in between jobs & new to the Charlotte area. I would love to provide any care I can within my availability! I live in a large apartment complex with plenty of area to walk. There is a small dog run on the complex property & walking trails/parks just minutes away. I have a two bedroom apartment, allowing your pet ample space! For more specific questions, please contact me directly- I am more than willing to adjust my lifestyle for what your pet needs! In the past, I have kept other pets separate from my guinea pig- as not all pets get along & to maintain personal space for both animals. I have experience with animals that need a crate, as well as ones that do not! I have cared for pets with a long criteria list, and pets that are just go with the flow. Both are welcome! As a pet parent myself, I would want my animal being cared for to my preferences & want to make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away. I do have a guinea pig! Rover does not have a section to add in My Pets section (Dogs & Cats were the only choices). But he will be kept separately!

About: I've loved animals my whole life. When I was 15 I finally got my own dog, Piper (an 8wk old Catahoula mix). That following Summer I began to care for three other dogs for a few days a week at their home, letting them out and playing with them. Likewise, the summer before college I worked at a boarding kennel/day care. I enjoyed playing with and caring for nearly 20 different dogs every day! In August of last year, my husband and I got our very own dog! Her name is Fern, and she is another Catahoula! *NOTE* I work 7-6 M-F Charlotte at a doctor’s office. Thus, I am unfortunately unable for drop-in services during the day. If your dog requires round the clock care, I unfortunately cannot be your person. I am willing to negotiate rates if you need to hire a midday dog-walker while I take care of nights. I believe in complete transparency and wouldn’t want to promise something I couldn’t do. My husband helps me out from time to time during the day on the weekends if I get stuck in clinic! He will sometimes stay in my place, and always comes to the first meet and greet. He’s also a verified animal lover (and the one in all the pics!) At my apartment complex, we have a fenced in dog park that I can allow our dogs to play in. Likewise, I have the space to crate your dog if needed. I believe in positive reinforcement training, and will be sure to give your pet lots of (approved) treats and love.

About: Ive had pets ever since i was younger including cats, dogs, bunnies, etc I gained experience with animals and how to take care of them. Available Friday-Sunday, but may be available after 4pm on Monday-Thursdays feel free to send me a request & I will get back with you asap! Will take proper care of your pet making sure their fed, walked if needed, and all of their needs. I can walk dogs, and make sure they have play-time.

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life! Before I moved to SC 3 years ago, I spent a few years working for a non-profit animal shelter in Louisiana. My job included cleaning kennels, feeding/watering, medicine administration, socialization, preparation for adoption/freedom rides, and of course lots and lots of pets and cuddles. I currently have 2 large rescue dogs (Cooper-5, Moo-3) and 1 rescue cat (Josephine-1) with my fiancé (Matthew-29). We love to take the animals on daily walks and hikes on long weekends! My purpose in life is to make sure my pets live a better life than me. And they definitely do! I have a very flexible full time job that allows me to be home most of the time. I make sure my dogs get daily walks and my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily! And enrichment activities on days where the weather doesn’t cooperate. My pets are my life. They are always up to date on their vaccinations, kennel trained, and always on a leash when not inside our home/fence. They also get clipped in when we go on truck rides. Moo has had to undergo TPLO surgery on one of her legs so I have plenty of patience for a 8 week recovery for a hyper active dog. Including administering her medication, doing her daily stretches and icing, as well as making sure she got outside time by pushing her in a cart on walks.

About: I have 10 years of pet care experience. I am well versed with dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. I can handle large dogs and still cuddle with the little dogs. I get to care for my friends fur babies and I am grateful for every moment. I have experience with seniors and puppies (or kittens!) and can handle pretty much any situation. I am also able to administer medications if needed. I am currently working at a carriage barn 5 days a week. However, my hours are very flexible there so I can fit your pet into my week with no problems. I am also available weekends! I prefer not to board at my home, just to help keep the peace within my own animals and to not cause unneeded stress on your fur baby. I can do up to 3 visits a day, preferably nothing exceeding an hour unless necessary. I will watch over pet like it is my own. That being said, I will abide by any rules you may set for your animals. I will walk them, play with them, and love on them.

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 3yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. About: I’ve had dogs as pets all of my life! Big dogs, small dogs aged from 6wks -11years old! Dogs are more than just a pet to me, they are family! I’m currently working full time from 8:30 am - 5 pm! I am available weekends and during the week operating around my work schedule! I also have a 4 year old son! I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs who love to play! I can crate if needed inside the home! Your pets are allowed to stay inside!

About: I have been around dogs my entire life helping raise Black and Tans and Beagles as a child and watching my my neighbors dog when they are out of town. I currently have a 8.5 year old female Westie that gets along with everyone (dogs of all sizes and people). We enjoy visiting the local parks and the Riverwalk during the day. I can take out for frequent walks and multiple bathroom breaks. I can also feed multiple times a days. I am available during the week or the weekends or during the holidays (family is close by and will not be going out of town). If you have any other special requests please just ask, your dog will be in good hands with me.

About: i’ve taken care of pets since i was child. a family friend relied on me to bathe, feed, and walk their dog whenever they needed. i’m currently unemployed so i have plenty of time for your babies! i’m available for walks and potty breaks wednesday through sunday after 11 am i have a fence around my house but i take my grandmas dog on leashed walks around the yard almost daily! i make sure my cat is well exercised and i groom her weekly

I'm familiar with all types of leashes and collars, can administer medicine, and would love to know what animal hospital you visit in case of emergency.
