About: Am retired and generally home all day Recently retired. Plenty of time for walks and attention. have personal experience with dogs and cats. I had a dog for 7 years. She passed away. I was very fond of her. I am Recently retired. Love walking dogs and having them in my home. Back yard has 6 foot fence for secure potty breaks. Home most of time I do not have any pets at this time. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and grew up volunteering in shelters and working at a kennel. I am completely comfortable around both cats and dogs, and I occasionally foster both through my local shelter while they wait for their forever homes. I’m experienced and certified in basic dog training for puppies. I am able to administer dog CPR and basic first aid in case of emergency. I’d be happy and proud to take care of your pet(s) for you. About: Are you a good boy or girl? Do you enjoy a nice frolic in the field just like the rest of us? Are you addicted to belly rubs? If so, (or even if not) let me take care of you! Growing up in the country I've had a lifetime experience caring for all sorts of creatures, but mainly with those that 'woof' or 'meow.' Due to my loving nature of these four-legged animals, I've encountered many interactions and play dates with dogs of all shapes and sizes. As a former teacher, I know the importance of using a firm voice and using visual gesture cues to communicate with another kind (jk I LOVE children as well.) I don't mean to brag, but I'd like to think I was built to be a great dog walker with being 6'1 and all. Plus, who likes to RUN?! Ready, set, let's go! Although I love having a ball with some barkers, I currently spoil and cuddle with two perfect purr-ers in my household on a daily basis. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 3 years old, starting with feeding feral kittens formula from my doll's bottles. I preferred taking care of the kittens, dressing them in the doll clothes instead of playing with boring inanimate objects with crazy eyes lol. I arrange my clients appointments around animal obligations. I am single so overnight stays are not a problem for me. I have a live in roommate that cares for my animals, while I care for yours. I sit at people's homes, I do not bring other animals into my environment. I do have an outbuilding with a fenced large dog fennel 10ft tall, the building is 40ft × 20ft with electric if someone absolutely needed me to board. My starts with breakfast at 6am, dogs go for a potty break and walk, at noon I take them for another potty break & walk. After work we have a potty break, walk, then dinner. We go to potty as needed until bedtime

About: I’ve had dogs most of my life. Dogs are furry bundles of unconditional love, and they’ve always brought me a lot of joy. My first dog was a German Shepherd named Duchess. I was 5, and I’ve loved dogs ever since. I’m semi-retired and living my dream life at the campground here in Columbus. I’m a mental health counselor, singer/songwriter and musician, and occasionally a radio personality doing both music and talk radio shows, so my schedule is completely flexible. I need to be gone 3-4 hours during the day to take care of my personal business. I CAN’T WALK DOGS because I have a bad back and bad knee. All of my families have had fenced yards so it hasn’t been an issue. Also SMOKE FREE homes only. I will follow the owner’s wishes as to how they want their dogs cared for in their home. Having detailed written instructions helps me do this. Non-smoking homes only.
About: Just a stay at home mom who also loves fur babies. I love my fur babies as if they were real human babies, and I’ll do the same with yours! I am currently a stay at home mom so I am available all day. Whether that’s for walks, midday drop in’s, or even needing someone for longer periods of time. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
