About: I have been in the pet care industry for 30+ years. I first started petsitting in elementary school for individuals in my neighborhood but when I moved to Raleigh for college, I expanded my petsitting business with multiple families and a wider array of animals. Before moving back to this area, I was employed at a dog day care and boarding facility where my tasks included providing exercise and care, administrating medication (including insulin shots) and making sure the animals were happy. Since moving home, I still want to bring joy to an animals life by providing attention and care during the day, walking them, providing them with an outlet to play. I currently work remotely, so my daytime hours are flexible. My routine each day tends to be the same, so I know my schedule well in advance. That means I can provide consistent services with no surprises. While I'm unable to provide boarding services in my home, I will treat your home like my own (better really). I always check to make sure that the home is secure, that there are no messes left by animals, that any toys that are left lying around pose no danger to the pet (for example, if I see a torn stuffie, I'll put it out of reach). One of the best compliments I have ever received from a client was them saying, "It never even looked like you were here" - and that was after a week-long stay in their home!

The youngest is 2 years old and is a mixed breed, we fostered him and decided to adopt him. They are both friendly and love other dogs.
