“Margaret is the best giving us daily updates on how our dog Kyri was doing during our long trip away. Kyri was well taken care of and enjoyed their company and cozy home!”

“Deanna was a great sitter for my Labrador. She was very responsive to all messages and easy to work with for the meet and greet, drop off and pick up times. She had a dog of her own and can tell she cares about my dog as if she was one of her own. I would recommend her to others in the area and will use her again if I need the services while I live in the area.”

“Definitely five stars!!! Both Maureen and her husband took such great care of Cooper and went above and beyond. Daily pictures and communication, could not ask for better care. We weren’t sure he’d want to come back home!!”
“My dog loves staying with Debbie! This is the 2nd time I’ve booked with her and this was a long boarding for 10 days. I had no worries while I was gone. Daily updates, pictures and videos.”

“Megan was wonderful. She treated Louie like her own family pet. I felt comfortable and confident that he was happy and well care of better than well. She communicated with me and made the idea of leaving my boy for so many days less stressful.”

“Jennifer was great with our dog Molly when we went away over the weekend! She kept us updated with pictures and messages and took her for lots of walks. Thanks for taking such good care of her!”

“Emma was so great! She went out of her way to make sure my pups were comfortable, including two meet & greets beforehand! My pups had the best time and came home so happy and peaceful. They are actually less anxious than they’ve ever been, like they’ve forgotten to be worried about the front door all the time. So, yeah… Emma returned my pups to me better than I left them. There’s no higher praise than that!!”

“I can’t recommend Maria enough! She takes amazing care of my fur babies which includes taking them on lots of walks, which they love. She really helped me out when I was in a bind and was able to take my fur baby overnight with very short notice. I am so thankful to have found her!”

“Angela was wonderful with our little princess. This is the first time we used someone outside of family and we were nervous. Angela was very in touch with us and took great care of Callie. She sent us updates and photos while were gone. Put us at ease to see Callie so relaxed. We will definitely use Angela again. I highly recommend her. Thank you again Angela.”

“Alexis was wonderful! She took great care of Becker and he enjoyed playing with her pup Blue. She shared pictures and both dogs and they were having a great time. Definitely will book with Alexis aagain!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old. I had an elder dog that I had to put down recently and I love them so much! Happy to help with any medications or injections that are needed. Just would need a refresher in the injections. If you have any questions or would like to know more about me and my family please don't hesitate to ask. I am available all day most days. I am home 24/7. Outside of just running errands. I have 1 dog and 1 cat that I already take care of daily. So adding on a couple more doesn't hurt. Your pets have free range of the house as long as they are well mannered. My backyard is fenced with a 6ft privacy fence. My cat and dog are both on vectra for flea treatment. They are welcome anywhere in my house.
“Awesome! She was accommodating, pleasant to work with and I felt confidant that my pup was well taken care of. Gina stayed in communication during my time away and was responsive to my texts and questions. I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve owned a cat since I was 5! I know how to do litter and I understand cat language. If you’d be more comfortable, I’d be able to put my cats away in a separate room to care for yours alone and make sure they feel safe. However my cats love other cats and wouldn’t harm yours!:) I would have time everyday after 3pm as I don’t currently have a car so my mom would have to drive me after she works! On saturdays im free all day and sundays after church - so after about 12pm. I have nine cats who I take care of daily and will keep your cat company, if you have a dog however, I’d put my cats away just to be safe!
“Beth was amazing! From the very beginning, her communication was excellent. It’s obvious that she and Greg love dogs. She sent updates with pictures a couple of times each day. Linus was loved, cared for and pampered. He had fun with the other dogs and came home a very happy and tired boy. We’ve definitely found our new pet sitter. Thank you, Beth and Greg, for taking such great care of Linus 💕”

“Left a review before and nothing has changed, Stephanie is great and took amazing care of my ball of energy, Titan. Sent me pictures of him to make me feel comfortable and updated very often. Will continue to return to Stephanie for any sitting needs in the future.”

“Kristen just cared for our geriatric, high maintenance cat who has some health issues a second time. She was great again - clear communication, administered daily medication, sent photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”
“Jennifer took excellent care of Daisey. She sent pictures, answered my questions, and overall I believe my Daisey felt relaxed and was taken good care of, which is what matters. I have no complaints or issues.”

“Victorian is awesome! Set up a meet and greet before hand to make Suki feel comfortable. Suki was excited to go back for her stay and visit with her friends! Victoria kept me updated during Suki's stay and also sent pictures! Felt very comfortable leaving my baby with Victoria and already planning another stay for my next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Wynnie absolutely loves staying with Mary and Dana. As soon as we pull in the driveway, she is jumping to get out of the car. We have absolutely no hesitations leaving Wynnie with Mary for a whole week which is such a weight lifted off our shoulders. Wynnie is spoiled rotten (in the best way possible) during her stay. I truly appreciate Mary’s communication before, during, and even after the stay. She always makes sure to remind me of things to make sure I pack and sends pictures during the week. Thanks a million, Mary! 😁”

As of July 2026, there are 63 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Conneaut. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
100% of Conneaut sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Conneaut landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Conneaut home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Conneaut.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Conneaut sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
