“Jax was super happy with his recent stay with Margaret and her hubby. He was happy to hang out with the other dog they were boarding at the same time. Margaret sent daily pics and updates on Jax’s stay. We were very pleased with the care and attention he received and will book again with Margaret. 😃”

“This is the second time that Keely has kept Russ for us and we are so pleased with her care. She walks him and sends me pics everyday of their adventures. We will definitely be using Keely in the future!”

“Jennifer was great with our dog Molly when we went away over the weekend! She kept us updated with pictures and messages and took her for lots of walks. Thanks for taking such good care of her!”

“My two doodles Yogi and Bear have the best time when they are at Beth’s house! When I turn onto her street, they get so excited. They actually know that we’re going to her house. They can’t wait to get out of the car when we get there to go play with the other dogs. They look so happy in all the pictures that she sends to me. I highly recommend Beth as a pet sitter. She does a great job!”

“Nadine was superb! She took excellent care of our dog and updated us daily. She has a very nice set-up for dogs-inside and outside. My dog was very relaxed and happy during her stay. When we picked her up, she was playing with Nadine’s adorable Pomeranian and wasn’t in a hurry to leave. We were very pleased with Nadine!”

“First time I ever left my dog, Ellie with anyone other than family members. While I was initially apprehensive, Mary was the best dog caregiver I could have found and quickly put me at ease. She obviously loves dogs and Ellie was wonderfully care for and treated like a member of Mary’s family. Mary is kind, knowledgeable and highly organized. I recommend her without reservation.”

About: Hey, my name is Delaney. I am a college student attending Gannon University. I love animals and would have many of my own if was available 24 seven. However, since I am not, I would love to help take care of your pets! I am a full-time student and play a sport. However, I am free every night and my classes are very spread out. So I have lots of time to be at home taking care of everything. We don’t have any pets on the property. And there is a nice yard that is not fenced in, but when the pets are outside, I will be with them. I have a lot of space in the house and there is a park nearby for walks or fetch.
About: I’ve spent the past several years working hands-on as a veterinary assistant and dog trainer, and I truly love what I do. In the clinic, I’ve helped care for pets of all ages and temperaments, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during what can sometimes be stressful visits. As a trainer, I focus on building trust and clear communication between dogs and their owners, using patience and positive reinforcement to create lasting results. Whether I’m assisting in medical care or helping shape better behavior, my goal is always the same—happy, healthy pets and confident, informed owners who feel supported every step of the way. I’m currently working part time and home with my children 4 days a week and when I’m at my part time job I’m only there till 12pm. So I will have lots of time to spoil your fur babies with all the love and attention! I have worked in the veterinary field for over 7 years and currently working as a dog trainer part time your pets will always be properly taken care of and looked after with lots of play time and walks! If boarded in my home if I am not with them I would have them in a crate for rest times if not crate trained we can figure something out always open to help your pets feel the comfort of home away from home!
About: I have taken care of dogs since i was under 10 years old! I volunteered at an animal shelter and know how to help train! I currently am working from home so I have plenty of time to care of animals , train with them, and play with them as well! I myself have a half fenced in yard. I have a lovely corgi/aussie dog for your pup to play with! I can also crate if you need!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Springfield home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Springfield.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your West Springfield sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
