“Carolyn is wonderful and I would highly recommend her! Kind, professional, dependable, and great with our dogs. We have 2 golden retrievers, ~3 yrs and ~6 mos, and they took to Carolyn right away. She took them on terrific hour-long walks for the 3 days we needed, even toweling them down because of the rains. I will definitely reach out to Carolyn in the future when similar needs come up.”

“Rhea was great and would highly recommend if you are looking for a walker. My dog can be very high energy and a lot to handle, but Rhea was able to manage and had no issues. I needed a walker for the entire week and Rhea sent detailed summaries and pictures everyday and was very punctual. I will definitely be contacting her again for any dog walking I need.”

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family and friends over the past three years! I’m happy to love your fur babies! I am a teacher so I am currently off for the summer and am very flexible with time during the weekdays. I can also be available during weekends with proper notice! I have watched dogs that have needed to be crated and/or put in a pen. I have also taken the dogs I have cared for to dog parks for some fun puppy play dates.

“Ryanne was the best! She was flexible, kind, and left such great detailed notes/pictures during each visit. We truly appreciated knowing our Buddy was being loved, walked and cared for so well during our 2 weeks away- thank you!!”

About: I had an English bulldog for 10 years but sadly she passed. In 2033 I adopted my first own animal and he is a short hair cat named storm and I don’t know how I lived without him. I watch friends animals when they're on vacation and I used to work at a vet! I am doing this as a part time thing just to make a few extra bucks. I start my job in the beginning on September but am very flexible just message me! When I had my english bulldog I helped my dad clean her face wrinkles and ears. I fed her and walked her daily. friends I normally go over and take them for a walk and feed if needed if it’s a dog. For cats I normally just check on them and make sure they have water and food. I have put dogs in crates before, however if the dog struggles with going in the crate every time I would ask to not have to do that or at least let me know how you handle it and I will try!

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. We most recently had a dog for 7 years that we loved dearly, but needed to live in a home with caregivers who are home during the day. Our family enjoys caring for family members dogs and hope to add another pet to our family in the future. For now, taking care of others’ pets is perfect. We love to spend time outside, take walks and give snuggles. We work outside the home 9-4 pm on weekdays and are home nights and weekends. We cannot consistently accommodate mid-day walks. We would not be a good fit for puppies or older dogs that require more frequent breaks outside. We have a fenced in yard and a nice neighborhood for walks. We can accommodate crate training, but not necessary. We could care for multiple dogs from one family if needed depending on size and temperament.

About: I have always loved dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds! Growing up I had a golden retriever, Morgan, and right now I have a Black Mouth Curr/Lab Mix, Lainey, and our family dog is Della, she is a German Shepard. For me, dogs are family members. In fact, my dad will lovingly joke about how I talk to my pups like they are humans. I know how important it is to find someone that will care for your pup just as well as you do. If you choose to trust me with your pup, I promise to take care of them as if they were my own. I work full-time, but right now I am off for the summer! Once I return to work at the end of August, I will only be available on weekends. I currently live in an apartment, but I take Lainey out four to five times a day. Depending on the weather and how Lainey is feeling, we will go for a mile walk. I will say, my walks are casual strolls. Lainey LOVES to sniff, she is a hound after all! So I make sure I stop every time and respect her wishes to get a good sniff in. I believe it’s very important to let them sniff! Of course, I do monitor to make sure she isn’t picking up any unauthorized “snacks” along the way.

“Ale and our dog hit it off right away. Being a recent rescue, he is not the trusting sort around new people. While we were gone for 4 days, Ale gave him lots of exercise and took him on some excursions. Her dog was a good companion and they all got along wonderfully. Ale sent us cute pictures of our happy boy! Our house was neat and clean when we returned.”

About: I’ve been around pets since I was little. Growing up my mom always had cats, dogs, chickens she took care of all the animals. After getting married and having kids I decided it was finally time to adopt my dog Charlie. He’s a sweet loving 2 year old beagle. He’s great with my 3 kids and is super playful with other dogs. I have a huge yard which is fenced in and I live right by a trail so daily walks are always something i do. I work from home part time and my schedule is flexible so there’s always someone home. My yard is fenced in and very easy for the dogs to go out back and be safe. I live right by the schuylkill river trail and love taking walks with my dogs in the mornings, mid day and mostly in the evening when it cools down. I own a big house with a huge fenced in yard. I take Charlie on walks daily around town. If errands need to be ran I will communicate with the dogs owners to let him know and about how long I will be gone for.

“Allison is a mature and responsible parent, currently employed with a local school district. She grew up being an active caregiver for family dogs. When she had her own home, adopting a dog was high on her list of to dos. She has always been trusted to care for her parents’ dog too when they weren’t able. She is patient, kind and would care for anyone else’s dog as her own. Her spouse and two young girls are also willing and able to help care and cuddle. Together, they are a fun and active family that can provide a wonderful, safe, home based alternative to kenneled”
