About: I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners. Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock. We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!

About: I have experience working in a vet clinic. I know how to access needs beyond the basics. I have experience in sitting and training. I work well with seniors. I currently work full time during the week. I will be available during the weekends to watch your furry friends! My schedule is fairly flexible during the weekend. I have a fenced in yard at my residence. Also, the house is in a safe location. I am able to drive to and from client's home. I have access to a vehicle at all times of the day.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! About: I’ve taken care of a few dogs that required injection of insulin, giving pills, putting on diapers, bathed, brushed. Helped with training puppies at a young age. Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!
