About: We love all animals I have owned dogs from birth to Senior age. I know what it takes to take care of a pet that is elderly, blind, has to be in diapers, to needing a special diet. I love puppies and can set up a nice size play pen in the living room so they have a safe place to play. I do have experience bottle feeding on a regular schedule. We have also owned reptiles to invertebrates and know how to care for these critters as well. If you are in need of a pet needing care that is a small critter like hamster, guinea pig, ferret, chinchilla, etc. or a reptile to snakes and scorpions my husband and I have experience with all these types of critters and more. We both love all animals. We do have a small dog and my dog is crate trained so that wouldn’t be an issue. I also volunteer in 4-H. We have chickens but they are in a fence and not free range. We have an outdoor cat that does not like being in the house at all. She adopted us so she does have a home outdoors and we feed her. Between the two of us we are home all day. We have decided to open up our availability to full time 7 days a week. Depending on the schedule you have set for your pet we try to replicate it as much as possible. To stay on their schedule so when you return home it does not throw your routine off. I provide the pets with a comfortable space if I need to separate my pet from yours mine can hang out in his favorite part of the house which is our bedroom and your pet would have the rest of the house to roam and play plus a fenced in backyard that they can run off Some energy. When your pet is outside we are as-well. we do not leave them unattended. We can definitely come up with a plan that you and I feel comfortable with to make your pet the most comfortable and happy until you get back. I know from experience how nerve racking it is leaving your pet when you have to and you can’t take them with you. I am open to frequent check in's so you can say hi, receive a picture through the Rover chat service, or call / FaceTime chats which ever method you prefer. If your pet is in the process of potty training but still has accidents we do not mind at all putting a pee pad down or going on potty breaks more frequently to help them.
About: I can remember owning pets for my entire life and I have been helping care for animals of all kinds for over 40 years. I have experience with puppies, elderly pets, and everything in between. About: I grew up raising all different types of animals (birds, rabbits, dogs, lizards) and consider my pets my family. I have about 5 years of paid experience caring for pets and I have a cat of my own. :) I'm currently working from home and I have much free time during the day to make drop in visits or stay for a few hours/overnight as needed. Through this experience I am qualified to give medication to pets! I am responsible in taking care of my pets everyday! About: My full time job allows for flexibility during the work day and allows me to work anywhere with wifi. I can often be in the home caring for your animals or taking them out more often than a traditional sitter who works a 9-5. I dog sit for many members of my family and have had dogs since I was 2 years old. I have a lot of experience giving medication and working with elderly animals. About: My love for pets started as a child. I have had several dogs in my life. A few I’ve chosen, and many I have taken in and rehomed. I was known in my hometown as the person to call if an animal needed a quick placement .. or a total new situation. I currently have a 110 lb, (gentle giant) rescue ,named Olaf, that I’ve had for 4.5 ears, two cats that fell into my lap within the last year, a bunny and a few fish. Olaf is getting older and doesn’t prefer much exercise anymore. Id love to walk your dog, pop in quick or care for your animals for an extended period of time. My biggest concern is the safety of your pet first and foremost. I also highly focus on making sure their needs are being met while in my care. Every animal requires a different level of need. Bonding and providing comfort to your animal when you are away from them is just as important as their basic needs. I have yet to meet a dog that doesn’t love me completely!

About: I have had animals my whole life. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have had English Mastiff/Great Danes( not afraid of some drool) to Jack Russell’s. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
