About: I worked for Petco for a little more than four years, worked at a dog resort for over a year, and have had my Shihtzu since she was a puppy (now 14), so I am experienced working with many types of dogs. Aside from walking your dog, if needed I am willing to do basic grooming such as baths and brushing (I can also clip nails if need be, but please let me know if your dog has problems with any of that). Other than medical treatments 3 days a week, I am available days and night. The treatments are in the early morning, so it'll be fine. Your pet will stay with me in my room to relax, eat/drink, or have playtime unless we're taking walks or going to the park to play.

About: I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a kid, when my sisters and I had a menagerie of lizards, hermit crabs, rabbits, fish, and a dog named Cookie. As a teen, I pet sat for a wide range of dogs and cats. Then as an adult, I worked at a “doggy day care” where I managed groups of 15-20 dogs at a time, as well as doing feedings and administering medications. This was also when I met and adopted my rescue dog, Socks, who has taught me a lot about learning to work with dogs with various anxieties or temperament issues. I am a PhD student in the Philadelphia area, so my work schedule is extremely flexible! I also have consistent access to a car, so I can travel quickly as needed. I have a fenced-in yard and a large apartment, but I would prefer to come meet your pet in their comfort zone at home! I am happy to do multiple check-ins per day, or stay over night as is necessary/helpful. Whether your dog wants to hang out on the couch or explore the neighborhood, I am down!

About: Hello! My name is Donald! I've spent time working with cats of all kinds at the Providence Animal Center, especially ones that are shy or take time to warm up. I’m patient and pay close attention to how each cat acts so I can understand what they’re comfortable with. I learned a lot while helping out over there. I socialized with the cats, mainly by spending time with the cats and learning their different personalities. I'm full time available full time for your cat. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the week until August 20th, with flexible hours on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. Starting August 20, I’ll be commuting to college with classes Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I’ll still be available for early morning, late afternoon, and weekend visits. I’m happy to work with your schedule — feel free to reach out! If I’m caring for pets in my home, I’ll make sure they have a nice and comfortable environment for them, making sure they feel relaxed and secure while you’re away. I’ll also monitor their behavior to make they’re adjusting well and notify you of any problems.
