About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, but I started taking a more active role in their care about 9 years ago. I began by helping with family pets and more recently started doing my own pet sitting and drop-ins. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and have experience handling multiple dogs at once. I really enjoy getting to know each dog and figuring out what they like and need. I try to keep things calm and consistent so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m still building my experience, which is part of why my rates are lower right now, but I take pet care seriously and focus on giving your pet reliable, quality care. I’m currently in college. So my schedule is finicky. At school (Columbus, MS area): I’m available most afternoons. At home (Laurel/Hattiesburg, MS area): I’m mainly available on weekends and school breaks. Best times at home: Friday nights Anytime Saturday Sunday afternoons Schedule subject to change—please check my calendar for the most up-to-date availability. I live in town and like to keep dogs (and myself) active with regular walks and time outside. I pay attention to how each pet behaves so I can adjust to what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s pace, distance, or time. I will follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet stays safe and your home is respected. I also keep communication clear so you always know how things are going.

About: My dog Lucy and I love to play. We go for 30-minute walks (at least) every day, run around and play fetch in the backyard, and play tug of war with her toys throughout the day. We would love for your pet to join us! When I was little, I was the hired pet sitter in the neighborhood, plus I also had my own pets growing up. As an adult, I've had my own pets and have been hired to pet-sit for several friends' dogs and cats, both short- and long-term gigs, over the years. I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and some dog grooming experience (although grooming is not my passion, ha). Weekends are when I consistently have the most time to focus on your pet, but I sometimes have some availability on weekdays. Just ask and I'll see what I can do! We have a fenced-in backyard (tall wooden fence) that is the size of an additional lot. The yard has a few shade trees and is mostly open grass. We have several toys to play with, both in the backyard and inside, including a water sprinkler. Your dog will not be left unattended in my care unless I need to run an errand briefly and they are secured according to your instructions (crated, etc.) We have a large dog crate your dog can use if you'd like so you don't have to bring yours back and forth. There are several safe places to go for walks nearby with lots of grassy areas.

About: I have two years of experience working as a kennel tech where I was taught how to Give oral medication, and I have vet tech training assisting a vet in examination procedures, surgery prep, surgery recovery. I will almost 2 years of dog grooming experience with a variety of small to large dog breeds including older, blind, and deaf dogs. I love being outside and I work out regularly so I can keep up with your fur babies. I want to make this a full-time career so currently caring for pets fits into my routine as someone who loves animals and desires self-employment. In my home I have a feeding scheduled that I follow for my own pets. My senior cat gets a special cat food for his life stage. I have two boxes of toys for easy access, my vets number is on my fridge, and I have leash and harness trainined one of my cats for when they want to go outside to get some sunshine. In a clients home I follow there instructions for time outside, walks, and feeding. Otherwise I give there pets lots of love and make sure to clean up after them like I would my own. I love cuddles and playtime.

About: I grew up watching animals and owning them. I have a senior dog and a 2 year old cat, I have a lot of experience pet sitting along with it I’m currently a student at MUW working to become a elementary school teacher, I have a lot of spare time outside of my job and I believe this would be a great way to spend it I have 2 homes, one fenced in and one that’s not. I have a loving inside dog and cat at the second home but no pets at the first.

About: I grew up around all sorts of animals, from dogs to horses. I spent a year grooming dogs and loved it. My family has relied on me taking care of their pets over long periods of time. I am currently working four days a week, so I have plenty of availability to take care of your furry friends! I am always willing to try and find a time that works for you. About: Hi! I have loved all animals my whole life! I've always had a dog in the house. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from chihuahuas to Huskies! I have 3 fish, 2 dogs (Husky and Australian shepherd), and 1 chameleon! Haha I have house sit for friends and family who own cats as well. I love playing and taking them for walks and just cuddling! I am a full time student so the majority of my time is spent online doing school but I am in pilot training so I fly for a couple hours everyday, but other than that I'll be home the majority of my time. I can't offer services in my own home because my husky is reactive towards other dogs. I can care for the animals in your home though. I am very respectful and can stick to pretty much any schedule the animals need.

About: There has never been a time in my life when I didn’t take care of some kind of animal. Mostly dogs and cats growing up. I would love to help take care of your fur friend! I work as a nurse part time. I’m happily married and we have two fun, rambunctious, sweet boys. We have 2 dogs, horses, cows and a cat. My schedule is pretty flexible and I love going out for walks whenever I can. Especially when it’s with my fur friends. We live on 100 acres down a dirt road in the middle of the country. Not much goes on around here! We have a fence, but it’s set up for cows and horses. Our dogs run free inside and out; However, the pets I sitter will stay inside and go out for walks and bathroom breaks frequently for safety guarantee.

About: !! Relocating away from Starkville after May 7th! No bookings past that time !! I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and in the last five years, have raised three puppies into well-behaved, mature dogs, and cared for my two senior dogs until they passed. I personally trained my youngest dog and she is the best-behaved pup in public! I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

About: I’ve taken care of my own and others dogs for years! I worked as a Veterinary assistant in my hometown, and I worked as an assistant dog trainer at a kennel located near my hometown. I am fully qualified to take care, and even train your pet! I offer obedience training- your home, or mine! While your pet is under my care, I can also bathe them, and trim their nails! I’d love to take care of your precious pets! I am in college, but my class schedule is very flexible! I made it that way so I could be available for my clients pets! I have one medium and one large sized kennel if your dog is kennel trained, and comfortable in a kennel. If they don’t prefer a kennel, that is totally fine! I a TON of toys that your dog can play with. Of course these toys are washed after each booking!

About: I’ve owned pets for my whole life, but I also have 4 fish and 2 gerbils and babysat ferrets! I will always be free to check on your furbaby no matter the time, even at midnight, or stay the night with them. I am completely free all day every day since I am home for summer break from college starting May through early August. Unless I get another job this will not change. I don’t offer pet care in my home but I do offer services at your home, I can send you updates of whenever I arrive at your home, send you pictures while I’m there, update you when they potty, eat, what they do throughout the day, etc. And of course update you whenever I leave and tell you when I plan on returning. No pet parent should have to worry about if their animal(s) are getting enough love, that’s what I’m here for!
