About: I have had dogs in my house since before I could walk and currently have a puppy of my own, she is a French bulldog, Boston terrier mix. I have volunteered at different animal shelters in the Jackson and Starkville area, taking the dogs for walks and playing with them. I always look forward to taking care of all animals, whether they are new to me or not! :) I am currently studying and taking classes for nursing school, however, I am more than capable of waking up early and coming by to check in whenever I need to. Additionally, with enough notice I could schedule in visits with my daily plans I can easily leash up pets for daily walks and follow whatever instructions are given to me to ensure the safety of your pets. My priority will be your pet’s safety.

About: Hey everyone! I work at The Dawg House playground and salon, and over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of working at three veterinary clinics. During my time at the vet clinics, I learned valuable skills like bathing dogs and cats, trimming nails, and administering medication when required. I deeply understand the responsibility of caring for your furry companions, and I’m passionate about providing them with the best possible care! As a student at Mississippi State University, my availability is primarily limited to the afternoon. However, I encourage you to reach out, as I would be delighted to discuss potential arrangements! I treat animals as if they were my own, always striving to give them the best possible care. Since animals cannot speak for themselves, I firmly believe that we are the ones who speak on their behalf.

About: My name is Britney, and I spent three rewarding years as a kennel technician before proudly joining the military. My passion for dogs and cats drives me to ensure every pet in my care enjoys a fun and safe experience. I work full time right now but can provide pet care before work, during my lunch after work and on weekend whenever needed from you! :) As a pet care provider, I offer tailored services to meet the specific needs of pets in my client's home since my dog prefers to be alone.

About: Y'all, I have a broken ankle right now and am out of commission. I expect to be available again in September 2025. I'll update my calendar once I know! My dog Lucy and I love to play. We go for 30-minute walks (at least) every day, run around and play fetch in the backyard, and play tug of war with her toys throughout the day. We would love for your pet to join us! When I was little, I was the hired pet sitter in the neighborhood, plus I also had my own pets growing up. As an adult, I've had my own pets and have been hired to pet-sit for several friends' dogs and cats, both short- and long-term gigs, over the years. I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and some dog grooming experience (although grooming is not my passion, ha). Weekends are when I consistently have the most time to focus on your pet, but I sometimes have some availability on weekdays. Just ask and I'll see what I can do! We have a fenced-in backyard (tall wooden fence) that is the size of an additional lot. The yard has a few shade trees and is mostly open grass. We have several toys to play with, both in the backyard and inside, including a water sprinkler. Your dog will not be left unattended in my care unless I need to run an errand briefly and they are secured according to your instructions (crated, etc.) We have a large dog crate your dog can use if you'd like so you don't have to bring yours back and forth. There are several safe places to go for walks nearby with lots of grassy areas.

About: Hi! I have loved all animals my whole life! I've always had a dog in the house. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from chihuahuas to Huskies! I have 3 fish, 2 dogs (Husky and Australian shepherd), and 1 chameleon! Haha I have house sit for friends and family who own cats as well. I love playing and taking them for walks and just cuddling! I am a full time student so the majority of my time is spent online doing school but I am in pilot training so I fly for a couple hours everyday, but other than that I'll be home the majority of my time. I can't offer services in my own home because my husky is reactive towards other dogs. I can care for the animals in your home though. I am very respectful and can stick to pretty much any schedule the animals need.

Callie H.
“Callie H. would be THE BEST pet sitter and dog walker ever to entrust to your pet's care! She has a loving and compassionate heart and is exceptionally good with animals. She and her husband have rescued two dogs, one of which was abandoned at a wildlife refuge and was near death. She rehabbed him, including a costly, laborious, and time-consuming heart worm recovery process. She then found him a great forever home with a caring family. The other rescue is living her best life with Callie H. and her husband, getting lots of one-on-one time, walks, hugs and affirmation. I highly recommend Callie H. for this position. You will find no one better qualified, more responsible or more loving!”

Jasmine C.

“Katie has taken care of my two cats on several occasions. The longest time was 5 or 6 days. One of my cats has required daily medication. My cat is not an easy cat to deal when it comes to oral medication but Katie has proven to be very capable at giving the medicine. Katie also cleans out the litter box daily. I'm so grateful Katie loves animals and takes the time to play with mine and care for them as I would.”
