About: I had the pleasure of raising my German Shepherd for 8 years. He sadly crossed the rainbow bridge April 2025 from hemangiosarcoma. Jax was my baby but had a variety of health problems that have allowed me to have a deep knowledge of how to care for dogs. We adopted Trixie, our sweet pittie shortly after! She is the most snuggly lapdog! I am watchful with dogs and promise your dog will enjoy his or her time with Trixie, Terian, our kitty Coco and me! I have walked friends' and neighbors' dogs and provided overnight and short-term dog sitting for various breeds. Jax completed advanced obedience school, giving me extensive experience with the training process. I also am a certified behavior therapist who uses positive reinforcement to increase desired behavior. I am currently working as a juvenile probation supervisor, but I have the availability to come home 2 times during the day if your pup requires extra walks! I am typically gone for 7 hours Monday-Friday but come home at lunch to walk the dogs. My husband WFH so your baby will always have someone home! I always make time to walk the dogs at least twice a day for 20-30 minutes. If your pup requires more or less, I can tailor their walks accordingly. I am very flexible with scheduling. At our house, your pup will have plenty of room to play. We have a large backyard. We also are more than happy to take the pups to a Dog Park to get out any extra energy. I am happy to crate your pup if needed. We have plenty of interactive dog toys for Trixie and your pup to play with. Trixie is about 3 years old and loves to make new friends. We hope your pup will come join us while you are away! Because I have a fur baby of my own, I understand the time and dedication needed for a pet. Fortunately, I am able to let the dogs out during the day. My husband and I are active, so walks and hikes with the dogs is part of our routine. I have raised a very spoiled dog, so I know how to give your pup(s) the love and affection they need while you are out of town. Between snuggles, leashed walks, open area play in the backyard, yummy treats, and lots of belly scratches, your pet will be loved and attended to!

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have been trusted with taking care of many for family and friends. I love every size and age they come in! I am currently looking to do this as full time as I can so I have plenty of availability. I am very flexible with time and open to just about anything your needs require! At my home I feed our dogs breakfast and dinner. They get let out before and after every meal. During some afternoons they do get an enrichment treat activity or a walk (depends on the weather)

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I work full time, so evenings during the week work best and my availability is flexible on the weekends. I am more than happy to discuss more! My services will be suited for the clients’ need. I will discuss with you on how to care for pets before the booked appointment. You will know exactly where your pet is at all times.

About: Having worked with dogs extensively over the past year and owning many different breeds and temperaments of dogs over the course of our lives, my husband and I are a confident, compassionate team of dog lovers willing to cater to your dogs preferences, quirks, and lifestyle. We specialize in working with senior dogs and dogs with different forms of anxiety. We are comfortable and capable of administering medications to your pups as their health/diagnoses requires and are especially sensitive to dogs with disabilities like blindness, deafness, food allergies, skin conditions, etc. We have three dogs of our own, all currently seniors (12 yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 9 yr old lab/pit mix, and 8 yr old German Shepard). We are very familiar with dogs with medical needs as our Chessie has a thyroid condition that we've been managing since his first year of life and our German Shepard is constantly fighting ear issues. We are able to administer medications, and monthlies such as Flea and Tick preventives and also have ample experience handling dogs undergoing heart worm treatment and recovery. We have both a morning and evening routine for our dogs and service clients throughout each day based on need/request. Our goal when working with clients is to maximize love, care and of course, potty breaks. We have an extra tall security fenced in yard, are located within walking distance of the local park, minutes from the local dog park, and our residence is located on a dead end street, far back from any potentially dangerous main road. We leash walk all dogs on site and only allow play groups or trips to the parks with prior approval from owners.

About: Hi! I’m Robert. I’ve had animals all my life (dogs, cats, fish, lizards, hermit crabs, raised praying mantids and butterflies). I trap and spay/neuter feral cats (TNR), feed birds, planted a pollinator garden in my yard…love nature and appreciate the relationship between humans and animals. My small dog Tyson is 11 or 12 years old and has some special needs (anxiety, hip-problems, blind in one eye, and I am his 3rd owner), so I know patience and compassion when it comes to senior dogs. Two of my cats I’ve had since they were kittens, and the third cat was abandoned by a neighbor and chose me as her new human when they left her. Happy to accommodate your companion’s special needs, and will be honest with you if there is something I don’t feel confident about. I also use two water fountain bowls, so your friend will have access to clean, moving water. I am a bar tender and have been doing that work since 2006, 12 years at my current bar. I work part time there and have a good amount of free-time which I can use to take care of of your dog. I have a large fenced in yard (176 ft of 6ft tall wooden fence) with plenty of shade, water bowls, central air and heating. Pets are free to lounge anywhere in my house, but I do prefer dogs to be crated if I am away for their own safety, and peace of mind for me :) Please let me know if you have any rules you have for your pets at home, feeding schedule, potty-break schedule, etc.

For drop-in or stay visits at your place, I am available for feeding and playtime. I also have experience with crate training if necessary.

About: I’ve raised and taken care of both dogs and cats for many years. I have worked at a dog boarding and training facility. About: Ever since I was 12, I've been walking dogs around my neighborhood, even going door to door to offer help. I bring that same passion, reliability, & care to every dog I sit. I'm calm, attentive, & experienced with dogs of all ages, including seniors & anxious pups. I can also give medications if needed & always provide loving, home-like care with lots of updates! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule & plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. Whether it's morning strolls. midday check ins, or cozy evenings, I genuinely enjoy being around animals & making them feel safe & loved. Whether caring for pets in my home is a client's, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, & loved. At my home, I offer a calm, pet friendly space with a fenced-in yard for playtime & fresh air. I also have a sweet & friendly one year old Hungarian Vizsla who loves having other dogs around & can be great company. I'm also just eight minuted away from a brand new beautiful dog park which is perfect for exercise & enrichment. In a client's home, I follow their routines closely & treat their space & pet with the utmost care & respect.

About: I’m currently in my final year studying zoology in college, and I truly love all animals with all my heart. I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, and for the past seven years, I’ve been trusted to care for pets belonging to neighbors, family friends, and more. I treat every pet like my own while maintaining a professional and reliable attitude. This summer I am focusing on all things animal love. I will be pet sitting/walking as well as volunteering at farms and the Cleveland zoo! My schedule is pretty open as I will be prioritizing your pets and their needs. As stated before I will treat your pet as my own. I have a huge heart for all pets; dogs, cats, lizards, birds, etc. My family dog is very anxious around other animals so to respect him I will unfortunately not be able to bring other animals into my home. I have stayed at many family friends houses while pet sitting and I’m very respectful of home and pet. My dream job is working with animals and caring for their welfare so I would love for you to consider me as your pet caregiver, I will abide by rules you set and ask specific questions for each pet!

“Alicia has been incredible since I’ve gotten my first puppy. She’s helped ease so much of my stress and has gone above and beyond. My pup definitely loves her and misses her when she’s gone.”

About: PLEASE READ: I have started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and would like to grow it there rather than on Rover. If you are interested in hiring me, please search on Facebook or Google "Rachael's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting" or message me for the links, my website, or email. You can still read much of my current information here. I worked as a professional pet sitter for one of the biggest pet sitting companies in the Cleveland area for 2.5 years and have done pet sitting on my own since then. I have experience caring for many different types of animals of all ages and sizes. I have taken care of them when the owners were on vacation; feeding, giving medicine, walking, etc. I also do dog walking visits during the day for people who are at work or sometimes still home. I have had my own dogs, cats, and other small animals my whole life. I currently have a very part time remote job as a social media coordinator, and have recently started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and also do occasional freelance graphic design and photo editing. I am mainly looking to work in mornings and afternoons on weekdays, but can occasionally do nights and weekends too. I am available for daily dog walking in cities near Olmsted Falls, and can do occasional pet sitting in farther cities. I have professional experience caring for animals and being in client's homes. Before I worked as a pet sitter, I even cleaned houses for 4 years, while people were away, so I can be trusted in people's homes. I always make sure to hold a dog's leash tight, and make sure no pets get out when I come and go through a door. I also always make sure the door is locked when I leave. I will meet you and your pets before services begin to go over everything so I know exactly what to do and make sure the pets get to know me first.

Robert U.
“Having known Robert his whole life, I can attest to the fact that he is a true animal lover, an advocate for all living things, a steward of the Earth, and one of the kindest, most gentle humans anyone could ever meet. I have often trusted my senior pups to his care and have never felt uneasy or unsure about the time I would be away, and that is so helpful and reassuring. Robert is reliable and trustworthy, compassionate and understanding. His love of nature is rivaled only by his love of animals, and that says so much. The bond he shares with his own animals is heartwarming to see and is a testament to the care and love he would show to the animals whose humans choose him on Rover!”

“Chloe is the best! She is our go-to for sitting our cats. Communicative, friendly, and flexible. Highly recommend!”

Eszter N.
“Eszter is truly one of the most caring and responsible dog moms I know. The love, attention, and patience she gives her own dog is inspiring—always making sure he is well-exercised, mentally stimulated, and deeply cared for. That same energy and commitment would absolutely carry over to any pet she’s responsible for. Eszter is warm, thoughtful, and incredibly dependable, with a natural ability to connect with animals and people alike. I can’t think of anyone more suited to be a pet sitter or dog walker. She would be an amazing addition to the Rover community! You will not be disappointed!”

Allyson B.
“I cannot recommend Allyson enough! She has cared for my three furbabies several times over the past few years. Whether it is a quick overnight trip or a week long vacation, as long as I know Ally is taking care of them, I can rest easy and enjoy myself. All three of my babies are quirky, each in a different way. One needs a wide berth and lots of patience to get to go outside, one requires a ton of cuddling and gets jealous of the other two, and the third is a little addled (but we love her!) They have specific feeding instructions as well, needing their food mixed a certain and each fed in separate spots. Ally handles all of that with ease and is always gentle and comforting with them. She has a natural manner with them. In addition, she is always dependable and responsible, great with communication, sending pics of my pooches to help me when I'm away from them. If you are looking for someone to love on your dogs or cats, Ally is the BEST!”

Alicia R.

“Alicia has been incredible since I’ve gotten my first puppy. She’s helped ease so much of my stress and has gone above and beyond. My pup definitely loves her and misses her when she’s gone.”

Rachael P.
“Rachael has years of professional experience with animals and being in client's homes. She is reliable and always on time. She did a great job taking care of my birds while I was away.”
