“Ericka did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Molly! This was my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure how it would go having a new person take care of her doing the drop-in visits, but she loved Ericka! I also really appreciated the notes and photo updates from each check-in. I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I used to take care of my sister’s pets, when she needed the extra help a few years ago. I would take them out on walks, give them their food, and just give them some loving until she would come back from trips or work. I have a puppy and kitten of my own and love training them, and snuggling them! Excited to meet your pets! I currently am working part-time, so that gives me a lot of flexibility and time to be able to spend quality time with your pets. I have a friendly dog who would be able to keep your fur baby company, but I do have separate areas in case anyone needs space! I never leave my pets unsupervised, to make sure they don’t hurt themselves or break any furniture. I live in an apartment complex that is pet friendly and has an exercise area that is fenced! I would love to send as many updates of your pets, that you may need to help ease any worries.

About: I consider myself not a dog walker, but a dog runner... for energetic Huskies, Heelers, Border Collies, Aussies, and more! High energy dogs are my niche. I'm a lifelong dog lover with a cattle dog/ Heeler (having owned two) experience offering running and engaging walks. I've been a runner for over 25 years, currently, having a Heeler and Heeler/ Husky mix, I understand their high energy and exercise requirements. I offer energetic runs/ walks designed to tire out them out. Also, I offer,"Mosey walks" perfect for older/ senior dogs (my Heeler is 9), or less energetic pups who still love to explore. Additionally, a TON of love and attention. If you're tired from work and your dog needs to let out that energy, I'm the one for your dog. If you've ever wanted to run with your dog. I'm the one to support and coach you along. I live in the King William area and two blocks from the river. My goal is a happy, well exercised dog who sleeps at night. If your dog is looking for me, I'm for your dog! I'm punctual, communicative, and send updates. Exercise and fresh air equals a healthy and happy dog! I work from home and am available most days (self employed). I can even do last minute runs (Mainly) and walks. My dogs enjoy the freedom and their outside walks (Nellie likes her two mile run in the AM) that Mother Nature offers them. My dogs are everything to me and I'll treat yours the same. I live in King William, two blocks from the river, close to HemisFaire Park so they'll have shady walks/ runs. I'm very resourceful and can find a shady spot by your home as well.

“We had a drop-in visit with Marina, who is going to be house sitting for us and our two babies next weekend. She was promptly on time, very nice to talk with and presented herself as very responsible and dependable. I have no worries with her watching our little ones. Thanks!”

“We had to fly out for a three-day trip on very short notice. We have two cats: a 13-year-old diabetic orange cat who we call our "love sponge," and a thee-year-old lever, mischievous tortie. Morgan understood the assignment. She had not given insulin to a cat before. I showed her how to do it, left written instructions, and all insulin doses went well. The cats were happy and healthy when we returned. My diabetic cat had a veterinarian appointment when we returned, and his glucose and neutrophils were within a good range.”

About: A new chapter has me working from home full-time — and I’m so excited to open my home again! I’d love to care for your pup while you’re away, offering cuddles, calm vibes, and a cozy space shared with my two small resident dogs. 🐾 Meet the Crew: Iggy is my 13-year-old tripod and self-appointed commander-in-chief. He mostly keeps to his cozy corner, supervising the house and making sure playtime doesn’t get out of hand. Dolly is my 4-year-old shadow. She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. If your pup wants to play, she’s in — but she’s just as happy to nap nearby and match their energy. 💛 My Experience: I fostered dogs for over seven years — from tiny puppies to more sensitive or reactive rescues. That variety helped me get really good at reading dog dynamics, adjusting space, and creating a low-stress, respectful environment for everyone involved. 🏡 My Setup: Pups have free roam of the living room and kitchen (with lots of nap spots — doggy couch included!) I use baby gates and barriers to create calm zones or give dogs space when needed If I step out briefly, I can crate your pup if you prefer — or I can safely separate mine in the bedroom and give yours the run of the main space I rotate rest time so every pup gets solo downtime when needed — it’s always about keeping things calm and dog-centered We also have a medium-large backyard (fully fenced, about 20 yards long), no cats or kids, and lots of cozy options for sleep and chill time. Whether your pup is a cuddlebug, a watcher, or a play-in-the-yard type, I’ll follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I currently work fully remote and am home all day — your dog will never be alone for long stretches. My own pups are a huge part of my life (they probably eat better than I do), and I deeply believe dogs rely on us for reassurance, love, and care. I do everything I can to live up to that, every single day. During my break from Rover, I continued fostering — over 100 puppies in the last few years. At the time, I was still going into the office, which wasn’t ideal, but it was still better than them staying at risk in the shelter. That chapter taught me so much about different temperaments, special needs, and how to create an environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — even when it’s not their usual home. Safety and trust are everything in my home. I don’t take guest pups on walks — my neighborhood occasionally has loose dogs, and I’d rather eliminate that risk altogether. Instead, all outdoor time happens in my fully fenced backyard, and I’m always outside supervising. My immediate neighbors don’t have dogs, so there’s no fence-line tension — just the occasional curious cat that might cause a short ruckus. Indoors, I keep the environment clean, calm, and free of hazards, with soft barriers and rest zones to help everyone feel safe and settled. I also regularly review the Red Cross Pet First Aid app to stay up to date on emergency protocols like choking or injury. Your pup’s comfort and safety are never left to chance — they’re at the center of everything I do.

About: As a hard-working, single dog mom of two, I know just how important it is to make sure your pups receive the love, care, and attention they deserve. Raising my two amazing dogs has taught me so much, and over the years, I’ve discovered a true gift for caring for small dogs, especially through helping friends and family with their furry companions. I work from home, and nothing brightens my day more than taking play breaks with my two lazy (but lovable) coworkers! My home is full of enrichment activities like dog puzzles, and I create a calm, safe environment with clear routines. To ensure every pup gets the attention they need, I only care for a maximum of two additional dogs at a time. Each dog has their own space, feeding area, and plenty of one-on-one time. Fun fact: I love making up silly little jingles for the dogs I watch and I’d be thrilled to add your pup’s name to my (future Grammy-winning) doggie theme song collection! I also recently added a hairbrush vacuum to my toolkit, perfect for dogs who enjoy a little grooming during their stay. I’m reliable, nurturing, and deeply committed to making sure your dog feels safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. I’d be honored to care for your beautiful pup like one of my own. I currently work from home, which allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. During the week, I’m available to feed, walk, and give your dog plenty of breaks, playtime, and attention. On weekends—and some evenings during the week—I’m also available for drop-in visits to check in on your pups and make sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for. In my home, I ensure that my dogs have a space that they feel comfortable in that kind of belongs to only them if they need time to be alone I also like to fold in one on one time with the dogs so that I can start to get to know their personality and how they communicate.

“Jennifer has been watching and loving on my dog, Pepe, for about a year. She always has treats and uses the best puppy voice to communicate with him (it makes him feel special.) Now that my dog is aging and needing more breaks, medication, attention (and of course, treats) Jennifer stops by whenever I need her to. It gives me a great peace of mind knowing that he is being looked after so well. She has also helped care for my stray cats that I have been feeding when I am out of town, coming by at least twice a day to feed them and make sure they have fresh, clean water. She even took all the bowls to her home and washed them! I would highly recommend Jennifer to help look after your babies!”

Collins Garden pet parents share their Rover experiences
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If there were a way to give Ignacio more than 5 stars, I would! Leaving my pets behind is never easy, but this time I had an extra layer of worry...one of my dogs is reactive, crazy energetic/athletic and overall a handful to manage. Ignacio not only took on the challenge, but did so with a level of patience, understanding, and genuine love that exceeded my highest expectations!! From the very first interaction, his communication was exceptional. He kept me informed every step of the way...sending thoughtful updates, photos, and letting me know exactly how the day was going. It wasn’t just that he was following instructions (which he did perfectly), it was that he approached my pets as if they were his own. When my “problem child” inevitably had his moments, Ignacio stayed calm and steady..problem-solving on the spot in ways that made me feel relieved. He went above and beyond in cleaning up after unexpected messes, making sure my home and pets were in great condition when I returned. His ability to remain composed in situations where others might have panicked is truly a testament to his skill and experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s rare to find someone who so clearly loves what they do, but Ignacio is THAT person. His dedication to caring for animals isn’t just a job, it’s a passion & it shows in every single detail. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for having found him. Ignacio is the kind of sitter you dream of finding on Rover....trustworthy, compassionate, experienced, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the animals he looks after. I sincerely hope I get the chance to book with him again because sitters like him are truly one in a million✨️✨️

I booked them last minute, and they were absolutely wonderful! They were incredibly sweet with my dogs and made me feel at ease right away. Communication was excellent they kept me updated and even sent a cute video of my pups playing in the yard. I could tell my dogs were happy. I would definitely book them again!

Ellie was fantastic while watching our little Jalapeño!. She was very communicative and had no problem working out the complex building. Our kitty didn’t seem to miss us too much when we got home so I know it was because Eleanor gave him lots of play time and loving while we were gone. She sends lots of pictures and makes sure he’s eating, it’s great to know Jalapeño is being well cared for on our busy trip, he was in perfect hands!! I would absolutely recommend Ellie 10/10, she will work with you and your schedule and your pets needs. Jalapeno already can’t wait for Ellie to come back again!

We had to fly out for a three-day trip on very short notice. We have two cats: a 13-year-old diabetic orange cat who we call our "love sponge," and a thee-year-old lever, mischievous tortie. Morgan understood the assignment. She had not given insulin to a cat before. I showed her how to do it, left written instructions, and all insulin doses went well.
