About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs since I was young. My family has a 14 year old Great Dane who I consider my baby. We have also had other smaller dogs such as a mini Aussie doodle and an Italian greyhound. I have been pet sitting dogs since I was in middle school and I always enjoyed spending time with every dog I met. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and I have experience with lifting and carrying very large senior dogs with difficulty jumping, as well as caring for dogs with sundowners. I’m also pretty good at getting most dogs to take their meds. I’m a college student so I mostly have evenings and weekends free. Getting a few hours in outside of my regular schedule is really helpful to me. I am very respectful of your space and I want to make sure the dog feels comfortable most of all. I will carefully read the list of tasks I’m left and make sure that everything gets done so that you can come back home with no concerns about your house or your pet.

About: I am a mother of both the human and furry type! I truly believe our pets are a member of the family. I've had dogs, puppies, cats, kitties, guinea pigs, fish, toads, frogs, you name it, Ive had them! I love them all! I grew up with pets and feel there is no love like your dogs love! I Currently have two dogs, one of which is a Great Pyrenees that I have rehabilitated from a broken leg he sustained at nine months old. So I really do know the dedication and love it takes to care for an animal. I'd love to help anyone out with their dog needs. I'm also willing to help out with other animals in the home if needed. I love kitties too..

About: I grew up with taking care of multiple family dogs. As an adult, I have dog-sat and cat-sat for multiple family members. Although I currently do not have any pets of my own, I would love to help you care for your own! I am a kindergarten teacher, so I am usually gone Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm. Weekend availability will just depend on the weekend! I am certainly willing to be flexible, because I just absolutely love animals! I have an open back yard that I share with other neighbors. I am able to make your personal adjustments to make sure your pet has a safe and comfortable environment.

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

About: I want to help parents feel at ease if they have to be away from their fur babies. Let me make your away from home less stressful. I am available everyday for drop in visits, playtime or daily walks. I am available all weekend for extended visits and have reliable vehicle for travel or car rides I have a spare bedroom available as a doggie room or cat room if your pet would like more privacy and a fenced in back yard for safety but extra play space to exercise your pet.

About: My wife Courtney and I grew up with cats and dogs as pets our entire lives and currently have two pets of our own. We currently have a female golden doodle, Lucy and a three legged cat, Donna! We recently lost our older little dachshund and it has left a huge hole in our family. We have experience with dogs of all sizes and have kept dogs up to three weeks with the owners out of country! Fun fact: I am a Chiropractor and have experience with adjusting animals as well! Courtney works a flexible schedule and we have an animal-loving daughter that attends UWEC who will give your pets all the attention they can handle when she’s around! Your pets will be in great hands and recieve lots of love when staying with us. We love cuddling on the couch, walking the trails in our neighborhood, playing tug with all Lucy’s favorite toys and playing fetch in the back yard. Drew works Monday through Friday but finishes seeing patients at 12pm on Fridays so he is available for afternoon drop offs through Sunday night for pickup. Our “during the week” availability depends on the needs of your pet which can be discussed before booking! Courtney’s schedule is flexible and can provide potty breaks throughout the day and occasionally works from home. We have an open back yard and live at the end of a cul de sac so your pets will be safe to play. We also have walking paths through our dog friendly, low traffic neighborhood. We spend lots of time outside with our dog and can provide a safe environment for yours as well. We never leave our dog outside alone since we do not have a fenced yard. We can provide a tie out if you have any worries about your dog not responding to a new persons commands. There is plenty of time spent lounging on the couch watching movies or hanging out while we play cards or board games as well. Since our daughter is off to college, we have a pretty quiet, laid back house, which can be nice for anxious pets. Your companion will have no lack of attention when they stay with us including lots of snuggles and treats (if that’s okay with you!)!

My family has always had pets growing up, and I’m always the one seeking out the pets at any gathering. I love earning their trust, making them feel comfortable, and making a new furry friend. While I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I absolutely adore all of my family’s pets whenever I get to see them or care for them! I work as a barista during the days, typically a 6 hour shift sometime in the morning or during the day. Whenever I am not on shift I will be able to care for your pets! My schedule varies occasionally so if you aren’t sure if a day will work, please reach out! When caring for pets, I focus on making sure they are happy, comfortable, and feel loved. I take the time to learn about each pet so I can match their energy and routine. “Jenna is awesome! She took care of my senior cat while I was out of town for a week. She is on quite a few medications for various health problems and I felt she was in very good hands with Jenna, who gave me daily updates on how she was eating and her litter box use status. My cat unfortunately developed a UTI while I was gone and Jenna took her to the emergency vet for me and was willing to go above and beyond and come super early the next morning to give her the antibiotic she needed. She was also super helpful in checking my mail daily as I live in an apartment and quite a few packages delivered while I was gone. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Danny and I have both grown up with dogs since we can remember. We have had our pet, Rarrie, for 4 years and lived in 3 different regions. We are used to any sort of social skills dog and adapt well for your pets needs! We love new adventures and have a passion for finding out how your pet fits in our home! I am currently working full time, a flexible 3 days a week from home so I will be home all day when your pets are here! Danny works full time but is home in the morning and nights. We are both home on the weekends full time! We take our pet and guest pets out in the morning, at lunch, afternoon, and nighttime! We have a fully fenced in large yard that the pups will love to play outside in. We also adventure to local parks for walks and have low traffic trails depending on your pet’s social skills! Pet care has been part of our daily routine for well over 4 years now. We are not new to the responsibility of taking care of our animal friends and we will treat your dog as our own during their stay with us! We have a fenced in yard that provides full protection from outside the property. We keep our doors locked when we aren’t home so your pet will never have a chance of getting away without us knowing. We always keep them close by when they are staying with us!
