About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs since I was young. My family has a 14 year old Great Dane who I consider my baby. We have also had other smaller dogs such as a mini Aussie doodle and an Italian greyhound. I have been pet sitting dogs since I was in middle school and I always enjoyed spending time with every dog I met. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and I have experience with lifting and carrying very large senior dogs with difficulty jumping, as well as caring for dogs with sundowners. I’m also pretty good at getting most dogs to take their meds. I’m a college student so I mostly have evenings and weekends free. Getting a few hours in outside of my regular schedule is really helpful to me. I am very respectful of your space and I want to make sure the dog feels comfortable most of all. I will carefully read the list of tasks I’m left and make sure that everything gets done so that you can come back home with no concerns about your house or your pet.

She is on quite a few medications for various health problems and I felt she was in very good hands with Jenna, who gave me daily updates on how she was eating and her litter box use status. My cat unfortunately developed a UTI while I was gone and Jenna took her to the emergency vet for me and was willing to go above and beyond and come super early the next morning to give her the antibiotic she needed. About: Dogs, cats and birds have always been a part of my life. As a child, we even had a pet crow named Butch! I work from home so your fur or feather baby won’t be left alone. My last two dogs passed away after months of battling cancer. My siberian husky had nasal cancer and my papillion had lymphoma. I have experience providing palliative care for dogs that are not feeling well and probably need extra love and attention. Currently, my resident dog is a foster failure named Peppy. Occasionally, I will have a foster dog in addition to my resident dog. I would disclose that information before booking. I currently work from home and my schedule is very flexible. After work, I walk my dog either around the neighborhood or we go to Red Cedar trail or to a park in town. I can easily crate your dog if you request it but it’s ok if he/she sleeps wherever. My dog freaks out in a crate (he was a breeder release) so he sleeps wherever he chooses. He is very gentle and has no teeth so I will not care for any aggressive dog.

This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Thank you for reading through my short history and I am super excited to update this with my accomplishments to come! Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

About: I volunteered at the animal shelter when I was younger and I have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs my entire life! I have helped care for them and play with them for years! I work full-time as a case manager. I am currently in my masters of social work program. I love to help out with pets so you can take your much needed breaks! I am unable to board animals in my own apartment, but I would love to take care of them in their own home! Following guidelines and tasks set by the owner, each pet can stay happy in their own space!

Additionally, I have completed Pet First Aid Training via the Red Cross. ***Dog Walking*** Dog walking is offered Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm. If you have a dog who can not handle walks, please contact me to arrange special care. I utilize an E-Bike with Pet Trailer during the summer, a solution that works great for senior and disabled dogs, as well as dogs who are unable to go for walks due to medical restriction (70 Lbs Max Weight for Trailer). ***Pet Sitting*** I offer pet sitting in your home beginning Friday evening until Sunday evening. This is great for weekend getaways and short trips. We spend the entire time with your pets except for a 4 hour allotment for running personal errands. The majority of the pet sitting will be at your home. We keep any keys and codes secured, offer daily pictures and updates, as well as a final report upon your return. If there are any emergencies you will be contacted right away, less the time it takes to stabilize the situation. Safety is the main priority and we understand the importance you place in your your pets care, as do I. As part of my supplies, I have a leash with couplers, waste bags, and first aid supplies. I operate under both Rover and my own LLC, which carries commercial pet care insurance.
About: Most of my pet care experience comes from pet sitting dogs for my neighbors, family, and friends. I also have personal experience due to living with 3 dogs of my own, and a cat. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 8 years old with my own labs! This extended into caring for family, family friends and eventually neighbors and the occasional stranger’s dogs as I got older. I live in an apartment that allows dogs, and am close to a variety of outdoor walking trails. Play time and cuddles are a free for all, but I tend to have specific areas for eating and sleeping for my dog. I am however comfortable with dogs on furniture, crating, or anything in between!
