About: I’m a long-time social worker who really should’ve been a dog social worker. If I could figure out how to bill insurance for snuggle time, baths, long walks, and naps I would have the perfect life. I’m not afraid of the elements and will get out and walk in the snow, rain or whatever else Michigan can throw our way. I’ve sat for some pretty temperamental large dogs. Patience is a virtue. I’m skilled with special-needs dogs. I’ve had a couple who have been injection dependent, oral medication dependent, and require topical oils. I’ll do whatever it takes to make your fur baby comfortable and happy. We don’t get them for very long so each day truly is a blessing. I’d love a chance to snuggle with your baby.
About: I've volunteered at my local animal shelter for 8+ years. I've helped my friend take care of several litters of her puppies. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing and training dogs. I'm currently working full time but have flexible days and hours to allow time to check in on pets and walk/feed them. I work normal 8-4:30 hours. If clients have fenced in yard, I will be out with the pet to interact and play with them. Making sure I'm aware and careful with animals that aren't allowed outside when going in and out of houses. Making sure appropriate collars/leashes are in tact when taking walks.

I have 1 cats currently. I am a mother to a 7 year old boy, a 2 year old boy and have my cousins 7 year old daughter. I have experience with animals with social and separation anxiety . I have dealt with special needs animals as well. I am a huge animal lover and will always make sure that every animal is treated as kindly as possible. I will always make sure you will not being walking in on a mess or a hyper active dog who just wants to play when you would much rather rest after a long day. I have a decent yard and live in a neighborhood where I can take on daily walks to ensure excersise. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
