About: I have experience with dogs of all age ranges, sizes, and needs. I am also a dog mom of two rescues (blue heeler mix and beagle mix). Within the last few years I have also fostered and dog sat for a number of friends and family members. I am currently a senior at Western Michigan University and have all virtual classes, which makes my schedule a little more flexible. I am just looking for a way to work while doing something I enjoy! All dogs are leashed while on walks and I have plenty of doggy bags! I allow pets on furniture unless the owner requests otherwise and am also willing to bathe or brush clients if requested.

“Catherine has farm sat for me on multiple occasions. She is my preferred person to have watch my animals. Catherine followed all of my biosecurity requirements for poultry and was able to safely care my non people friendly livestock guardian dogs. If anything went amiss with an animal, she took notice immediately and contacted me and began treatment if necessary (goat kids especially). I have poultry, hogs, horses, rabbits, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, reptiles and fish and she cared for each like they were her own.”

Dogs love the attention she shows them. She asks a lot of questions about the behavior of the dogs; how they react to other dogs, what’s their trigger and what has been done, that worked for the owners, to calm their animals in stressful situations. About: Held a security clearance for over 26 years. I've been boarding, house sitting, dropping in, walking, and running with dogs since before COVID hit. I also provide cat care. Open to other duties as assigned (mail collection, plant and/or pool/spa care, garbage/recycling, snow clearing, etc.) Golf league couple evenings/week, and ski locally on weekends. Membership Director of the Battle Creek Ski Club - occasional meetings. 50 mile radius is for house sitting; drop ins or walks within 10 miles. Safe Shadowood neighborhood in Battle Creek. I have a fenced yard with good safety latches on the gates. I have a pool with a safety cover off-season (3ft safety barrier available-see photos). I heat with a solar cover, so house sitting while it’s open is not feasible unless you live nearby. Dogs are not allowed on the pool covers or in the pool. Dogs must stay on leash during a meet-n-greet at my house, as Rover does not cover those (donations appreciated). ( I do not own any pets or have children, and live alone. I can only adequately supervise 1 dog at a time around the pool. Bi-level home with carpeted stairs. It has been marked, so if that’s a potential issue, please look elsewhere.

About: I live with 3 dogs, have had 5 my whole life, and I take them to the dog park at least once a every day I work part time and I take care of my dogs with my free time and have a lot of extra time for outdoor Adventures! I have a fenced in yard and a pool to Play, lots of treats and stuffed animals to go around for the Dogs to chew
